Room is nice and clean. Point of attention: missing a small fridge, to cool soft drinks. Breakfast is good. Not too fancy, butt everything what you need is there. Point of attention: The juice is not fresh. Bus station is nearby, just a minute walk from the hotel (3 bus lines during day time). Train station is nearby, just a 2 minute walk (S4 and S5 train brings you to and from the hotel to Lucerne main train station). Nice view at Mount Pilatus!

Family room was fabulous. Very spacious with a great view. Toilet/bathroom was already very clean. Holiday Inn Express Lucern certainly has raised the bar. The location was super close to Train Station and Bus stop which really motivated us to use the city provided free public transport.

Buffet Breakfast could have been better. I think there weren't enough items on the menu.

The location was perfect being 2minute walk from Kriens train station.Stayed for 3nights.Grocery store available very near. The hotel seems to be a brand new building.

We opted for breakfast.But it was the same items for 3 days.At time of booking it showed some Indian menu which we didn't found in any day.

A wonderful hotel, situated near a train station that is only 5 mins by train to Lucerne train station. It is very convenient to stay here, with a convenience store within walking distance, and food / restaurants nearby. It is a great alternative if you do not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Lucerne city, but want to be close enough to enjoy the convenience of the wonderful Swiss Rail system. Also located near the base of Mount Pilatus (short bus ride away) so makes visiting it a breeze.

Views are not that good as the hotel is located in a commercial area.

The room was a perfect good size, clean, quiet, well equipped and a comfy bed. Parking in the multi-storey car park very close by was easy and you pay a price set by the hotel (which is cheaper than the car park rate for a night). Although not right in the centre of Luzern, a station for the local railway is 3 minutes walk away and it’s a 7 minute journey into the centre of Luzern, so it is ideal! The cost of the train was covered by the hotel too, which was a nice surprise!

Location was convenient in terms of access - very close to the train station and bus stop. Hotel seemed fairly new and was quite comfortable with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Breakfast was awesome with fresh bread/croissants and good coffee.

Check-in was arduous as their system went down and it took nearly an hour. Though it doesnt seem like a problem, the staff seemed to imply that it was a frequent occurence, so maybe something for them to fix/upgrade. Check-out was also a bit fiddly. Location was not good in terms of dining options nearby, especially after 9pm. Nor is there much to do around the hotel.

We only stayed one night. Including 2 kids and fitted in a single room. The bed slept excellent. The hotel is quite new, including the small area around it. If you'd like, there is public transportation available just one block away. And the personnel was very kind and helpful.

Location is good, it is only a 2 minute walk to train and bus stops. Area itself was quiet which may be a con if you're looking for a larger choice of restaurants, bars or activities. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was nice.

The hotel appears to cater for tour groups so reception can get busy when a group comes in and it can take the staff a while to process bookings. Had a few issues with parking card for hotel's own car park that needed a bit of technical assistance from the company that runs the car park and an issue with room access card but got that sorted with reception staff.

Location was safe. Parking was convenient. Staff was kind.

The biggest shock I got was for the very first time that a hotel can exist without AC. It was very hot in the room with no AC in the hotel. They had few portable fans i believe which were also taken before I could get any. The room was so small that you can only stand if not on bed. No fridge, no safe in room. I dont think it was worth the money this hotel is asking. ( May be expensive due to location, but the hotel has nothing much to offer for the amount of money they charge
