very friendly staff, breakfast can be takwn to the room for late risers, location is amidst of nature,

a hike of 600m to reach the hotel. it is suggested that if the hotel can provide, pick up from interlaken ost station it will be very helpful to those who travel alone

The view is spectacular both from the room and around the hotel! The room for 1 person is very good for the value, has all the necessary things. Breakfast is ok for the value - a lot of choice but if you love healthy choices and quality of food you will look for another option.

If you don't have a car, it's a bit far from the station -12-15min walk and the last part is a steep uphill, was not very easy to come up with luggage

What a magical location (the photo was taken from the balcony). Clean and comfortable rooms with fabulous breakfast.

Shower was basic but comfortable - good pressure and the warm water came quickly every time. Mountain and lake view from my room (although i was staying on second floor, right where the roof of front porch is which takes away some of the nice view). Breakfast was simple but adequate for me as a vegetarian - including bread, simple salad, fresh fruits (apple, kiwi). Would be great if there are warm vegan options as well. Location was good - walking distance to Wilderswil station. Free bus pass issued which was valid during the entire stay which makes going to the main Interlaken area (where shops and restaurants are concentrated) very easy.

Shower gel cum shampoo were provided in small satchets - not only was this not environmentally-friendly, each pack was also not quite adequate. The satchets were not provided on the day i requested for no housekeeping. Bed and pillow was too soft for me :(

Continental breakfast, buffet style, with everything fresh and tasty. Lacked variety, but the food was good, and was a great start to the day. The views from the dining area were fantastic, and the place was always clean and tidy. The swimming pool was a great bonus - it certainly is, "the pool with the view". It was heated, and had a pleasant temperature for the duration of our stay. We had the pool to ourselves most evenings when we returned from our day trips between 4 and 6. The staff were very friendly and helpful - couldn't be faulted. The rooms are functional, and while they didn't detract from our stay, could be classed as a bit dated decor wise. The beds were really comfortable, and we slept well every night. The bathroom in our superior room featured his and her sinks, and a bath and shower. The hot water was piping anytime, day or night, that we used the shower which was great. Clientele wise, was representative of the visitors to the area overall, and all other guests were respectful and well mannered.

Not a significant issue, but the rooms were a bit dated. For us, with a balcony view of the snow-capped mountains, the location trumped the decor, hands down! This isn't something I didn't like, just a note really - the hotel location is up a fairly steep hill, so if you are going to be accessing on foot, would not be suitable in my opinion for those with mobility concerns.

When I arrived, the lady at the front desk was openly complaining about the current guest‘s check in taking too long and that she actually wanted to go home, blaming his nationality. She said „It takes twice as much time to check in an Arab as compared to a European“, all when the guest was still present. Later, when she was attending me and the guest returned for a question, she said in a complaining undertone „Here he comes again“. She was saying that all in German and kind of to herself and to me, so the other guest couldn’t understand what she saying. I was shocked and didn’t feel overly comfortable during my stay because of the behavior and mentality displayed during the first encounter with the staff.

The view over the lake was spectacular - during the day you always feel refreshed, while in the morning sunrise buffs you up. Hotel is above the Wilderswill on quiet and calm location. Lady receptionist was exceptionally helpful and warm welcoming - she is local and there for many decades for sure. She organises parking for everyone, and offers free tips on what and where to visit. I spent more than a few minutes chit-chatting with her which made my evening because I was alone on a trip. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of food - from a few types of cheeses and salamis, bacon, cooked and scrambled eggs, cereals, warm beverages, croissants, etc. The pool and hotel lobby with bar were particularly nice and cosy, while the whole time you had a view over the top of the Europe. Will come back for sure when will be in that part of Switzerland!

Really nothing to complain :-)

The hospitality was amazing. We had free breakfast included but on our last day we had to leave the hotel an hour before breakfast started. The staff were courteous enough to prepare “lunchboxes” for us. It is rare to see this level of hospitality and care. The view was good. The decor on the first floor, the pool and plants were good.

1) There was a very steep incline on the walk up to the hotel. There is about 8 minutes of walking between the nearest bus stop and the hotel which is not easy considering the incline. 2) the room was not soundproof 3) there was no A/C 4) the elevator seemed very old

Location is fantastic. You don't need to set up alarm clock,because the sheep grassing around and their bells will do it for you. It's above the city,beautiful view on the mountains. Evening reception lady was very nice,we had a nice chat. Hotel is very nice ,clean,it's has its charm. Room wasn't very big but offers everything you need for one or more nights to stay. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh,yummy, coffee exceptional. We strongly recommend this hotel if you're in the area and you don't want to stay in the middle of the busy and hustling area of the Interlaken. We will definitely stay there again !

Amazing view, on the hill with mountain & Junfraugh view, nice small pool, table tenis, bar, launge. Amaizing staff, very helpful! , helped us with Taxi and more. We used the tables outside the facility for family dinner we brought in, got cutlery from the Maira the host who was very kind and helpful, helped us plan our visit to the area with great recommendations

15 minutes walk from Wilderswil train staition, some of it up the hill. we visited with elderly people so we took a taxi from Interlaken Ost. - 7min ride.- there are taxies waiting outside the train station (no taxi at Wilderswil). ~35CHF for a ride. we used one for 7 people (same price for small taxi). No air condition, in the evening it was not needed. Shampoo/body soap came in inconvineint small packs that are hard to open/use and were too few
