I am only going to say this once! 🌞😊 Book a Double Room with Balcony, lake view & Free Breakfast included. It was so nice to be able to open the door for fresh air day or night. We slept with the door open until the traffic started….. but that’s ok as the lake view is worth it. The car park is just around the corner from the hotel, easy walking distance. The Breakfast is very, very good with a large variety to choose from plus good coffee. So remember….. Double room with Balcony,Lake view & Free Breakfast included!….makes for a great holiday!😁🍸☕️

The location is perfect, so close to the lake and nearest train station. We asked for a quiet room and it was provided to us. Yes, it didn't have a lake view, but it was quiet and the view wasn't terrible, so you get what you ask for :) Breakfast was excellent, the omelettes we ordered were hot, puffy and the smoothest taste. The pancakes with maple syrup turned out very yummy, I definitely recommend trying them! It was also nice to find a bottle of oat milk to poor some into the coffee. We also ate lunch at the bar, pasta was simple but delicious and my husband enjoyed flammkuchen pizza. Wi-Fi was fast and only required the password to be entered once, which was nice. The shower was so spacious! It was nice to have Lavazza coffee machine in the room with a selection of coffee AND tea capsules. The Marshall Action II Bluetooth speaker on the nightstand blew me away! So cool! We were actually in Zurich to attend Warpaint concert so I was able to listen to their playlist quite loudly with good bass right in my room thanks to this speaker!!!

The size of the room is not that big, so if you open your suitcase and order an ironing board to your room, then the room will be cramped.

Reception Desk: Excellent behaviour, promptly check in-checkout procedures, well-known to provide us with any information for the city locations/sites and to assist for our transportation, friendly and very gentle all the staff etc Breakfast: All the staff were around to assist, to keep the tables clean, to fill the empty dishes with new food, plenty choices to have a tasteful breakfast, fresh bread, sweets, eggs, omelets, croissants, different kinds of cheese, hams, yogurt, coffee of any kind, etc. Room Cleanness: It was like staying home, everything was so clean, bathroom with plenty of amenities, bathrobes, towels, sheets were smell fresh and clean etc. Room decoration: The Suite that we booked was decorated with elegance, modern furniture, double bed and the extra bed that we ordered to accommodate three of us, left enough space to move in the room and to relax on the sofa and to work on the desk. View: The room was based on the 4th floor on the side but the view was perfect since from the balcony we could see the lake and the city, mountain etc. Services: even though we had a problem with the room air-condition, the specialized staff provided extra heaters

Beautiful hotel, we loved the art deco features. Been offered a complimentary coffee, very good! Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Location - excellent, in front of the lake (road in between). Double glazing meant that you don't hear any street noise. Amazing shower!

We found reception staff quite arrogant, and not very helpful. We booked their executive room which apparently offers a complimentary mini bar but we never been informed about it on arrival. We only found out at the check-out when we wanted to pay for a bottle of juice we had.

This was my first time travelling to Switzerland and I can say without a doubt this hotel is NOT a four star but it very much straddles the quality of a five star hotel. At check in, a wonderfully helpful gentleman (with blonde hair whose name has slipped my mind - sorry!) explained to me about the hotel and offered me advice for my stay. The room, to begin, looks exactly like the pictures and it really is stunning. The bed is extraordinarily comfortable and large. The room is absolutely immaculate and the cleaners were exceptional. They time the cleaning so as not to disturb you, one day, I left the hotel for 15 minutes and in that time they had cleaned the room fully. The hotel is perfectly located and Stadelhofen Station to Zurich HB is moments away and Bahnhofstrasse are very nearby too by walking. Although the hotel overlooked a main road, I could not hear a thing. I absolutely loved my time staying there and I cannot forget the breakfast. Very good quality and there was never a rush by the staff to be finished quickly and you can eat until your heart is content. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you to the hotel staff and I look forward to visiting from the UK again!

Excellent breakfast. Flexible, friendly, and competent staff. Loved the complimentary tablet to order room service, chat with the front desk, explore/book local attractions. A very modern approach that makes international guests feel comfortable communicating. The décor was inspiring, extremely comfortable, and combined with the breathtaking view of the lake, gives the impression of being on a private yacht or cruise. Good food and a lovely restaurant.

An iron was not included in the room and was only available upon request.

Courteous staff especially Sanil the porter. The location by the lake is very nice. We were initially offered a room without a view and with a musty smell..but a slightly expensive upgrade moved us to lovely room overlooking the lake.

Remains a grouse that hotels in continental Europe can charge USD 400- 500 per night yet not offer complimentary drinking water in the room. Additionally don't know what it is with kettles giving way to nespresso clones in rooms..so no tea bags..no morning cuppa..DIY. The TV had poor representation of English channels..and no golf channels..

Overall very happy with our stay. Beds were comfy, the location was amazing (right across from Lake Zurich and an easy walk to the main part of town), the staff were very helpful and worked hard to answer our questions. We also liked the idea of receiving assistance via a tablet in the room.

There were quite a few flies all over the hotel and the breakfast was sub-par (for example: no almond or oat milk for the coffees, the fruit looked old and there was not a lot of fruit). Additionally we were asked to move tables despite the restaurant being 98% empty as we were a party of 2 who had sat at a table for 4... Also, we came with a baby and wish there was a solution for the bath.

Ideal lake front location, clean, comfortable and tidy hotel, excellent friendly staff plus the unseasonable 20.C temperatures in late October added greatly to our enjoyment ! Stunning lake front views are well worth the extra cost. Comfortable beds added to the feelgood factor too. Our original booking was costing us 1450 Euros for 3 nights. A week before travelling the same room and nights was costing 1020 Euros, so we cancelled the original booking and re-booked at the cheaper price !!

We sat for dinner on a Friday evening at 19.00, a three course meal, waited over an hour for the main course, our meal ended at 22.30. Given there were only 3 floor staff attending a full restaurant plus managing the bar we can understand this but the hotel needs to assist their employees as they or the guests really do not deserve this sort of treatment. Hotel food, while good, its pricing is way overboard the norm. We went to the Frescati restaurant 100m up the road for our lunch and evening meals after that, Good food at half the hotel pricing. Also we had no discression while booking our stay with a breakfast choice, breakfast comes with the booking even if you wish to decline,

The building has been well renovated and the rooms are stylish and comfortable.

I arrived unwell and needed room service, which was difficult to get because the room communication was out of service. I had to go myself to front desk to order, but they were very kind and accommodating otherwise. The breakfast buffet could use more fruit and more options for celiac/ gluten free. A few things could be improved but I’d still say this was a good hotel all in all.
