All staff helpful. Giuseppe went out of his way to show me directions I needed that morning, giving bus info. Breakfast nice, again staff helpful. Lovely selection of cheeses, good bread, fruit and coffee. Eggs and bacon.

Roadworks nearby at present but not hotel’s fault. It’s a busy area but very close to the station and convenient. Nothing really negative to say. Not sure if Booking.com show reviews if negative points are written. Always seems to ‘positive’ on their site. We often verify a place with google reviews. Walhalla is really good.

Excellent location. Zurich central bus station is across the road. Easy to take any tour bus to Jungfrau, Black Forest etc. Starbucks is right next to the hotel. But I recommend the hotel's own free coffee, which is amazing. The restaurant SHAM around the corner is absolutely amazing. There is a supermarket around the corner, too. The central train station is also 2 mins away. Best Hotel in Zurich for location, cleanliness. Staff is super friendly. Helped us book a taxi. Also helped us with all information we needed about transport etc.

There is a corner of the room where the ceiling is quite low. We hit our head there accidentally. It's actually quite painful.

Excellent location. It's only a three-minute walk to Zurich HB. Although there is a Starbucks right next to the hotel, which is fantastic, I believe the hotel offers limitless coffee, which is available on all floors. There is a coffee maker in the hallway outside of our room, so I assume you can have a cup whenever you want. Our room is large, and the toilet and shower are located separately. Love the breakfast spread too. We didn't use the public transport since everything was walkable. We love our stay in Zurich, albeit short.

Nothing in particular—the hotel has recently undergone renovations, so everything appears to be fresh and new. Simply put, it is pricey, and if you are in Zurich, I believe that is a given. Paid $500 for one night. Whew!!!

We had a room on a higher floor where only 1 elevator comes. So avoid room on higher floor. The rooms where clean . Bathroom are small but well stocked. We reached early but had to wait 1 hour more than the check in time for room. There was a person at the reception that was extra helpful. his name was starting with M (mario or something). He was very very helpful. there is coffee on each floor and cold flavored water in the reception. The reception was very friendly in advising on what to do and where to go.

avoid rooms on the highest floor. only 1 elevator goes there.

Really lovely staff. Free coffee any time was great and sweets too. Super comfy bed. Loved being so close to the station. Considering its location, it was pretty quiet (aside from roadworks on last night which is not the fault of the hotel). No breakfast

Someone came into my room whilst I was out on the 31/8. I had put up 'green' no clean sign. Nothing cleaned or tidied but bathroom sliding door which had been difficult to open was left off its runner and resting on floor and I know I did not leave it like that.

The manager/staff were exceptionally wonderful/professional and took time to help me with my questions AND to configure bedrooms for a party of 7 people total. We all loved the coffee that was available to us! Rooms were exceptionally bright, modern and clean. The location was so ideal as it was a 2 minute walk to the main train station which also had all the necessary stores. Able to walk to the old part of town in less than 10 minutes. Such a conveniently located hotel.

the construction in front of hotel was a bit annoying but it is NOT the hotel's fault.

We walked from the train to the hotel. Directions to go to Burger King and then exit from there to the street was correct advice. Construction was going on around the hotel so pushing the suitcases was a little difficult. Tea and coffee was offered on every floor free of charge. The breakfast was delicious. There is a terrace with tables and chairs off the breakfast room that looked lovely, unfortunately it was raining the day we left.

The hotel changed ownership the day we arrived. The person in charge needed help with many visitors. The TV in our room did not have a remote. The hotel seemed to be new in renovations; every thing was clean and new.

the hotel is a few steps from the train station. a major plus. there is a major tram stop right accross the street. so getting to down town and old town Zurich is a breeze. The rooms are quiet and AC works very well. the maid staff and front desk are very helpful. the beds are pretty comfortable for Switzerland. we highly recommend this hotel. the second time we stayed here. the breakfast was good and reasonably priced for Zurich.

Location, Location, Location!! It was the best! We had a tour pre-booked and they started across the street not more than 50 steps! That was amazing! Room was very good except for AC issues. Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from main train station and it is is a short walk away from center of restaurant action in Zurich! Breakfast was good as well!

AC was not working. It would turn on, after initial test it would shut down. I called front desk at about 9.00 PM and they said it would be 11.00 PM before someone showed up. I informed frontdesk we will open windows and not to bother us at 11.00 PM. We opened the windows and slept. It was OK experience. Second day we forgot to mention AC during day time, so we had to deal with No AC second night. Second night the room was really uncomfortable (temperature wise)! I really hope this is taken care off! Winter is coming as therefore there may not be a need.

This was another return visit as the hotel and its position near the station suits us for breaking our overall journey for visiting friends and Zurich. It’s a pleasant and interesting walk though the city to the old town and the lake. The hotel has been renovated recently with a nice mix of simple and stylish but with care to preserve the beautiful original features of the building especially the staircase. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Teas and coffees are available on the landing areas to help yourself. Excellent self- service breakfast from 6:30am.
