Amazing location, 5min walk from central station, easy pick up/drop off by Uber. Nearby to all cafe/city center if you want to have a walk or see the city/go get some food. The hotel room was very clean and the room was good size (enough space to move around and unpack your suitcase).

The only minus was that there was no tea and/or coffee machine in the room. I still find it outrageous that for such high price the room doesn't have such basics. I understand you can walk downstairs to the lobby to get a drink but it would be nice to have a machine in the room so you can have a hot team just before going to bed or fresh coffee after you wake up.

Did not try the breakfast at Ruby Mimi, but walking by the bar area, breakfast looks really good. I would've wanted to try. Location is probably as good as gets, close to pretty much the central area of tourism; it couldn't have been any better. Which is also the reason why I didn't purchase breakfast cause there were many food shops around.

The room was incredibly small, for the price of course. Zurich being one of the most expensive city on earth, I am aware that we probably wouldn't get that much out of the money we paid, but it wasn't a small sum. The entire hotel was new and chic, probably the "nicest" we've been in Switzerland, but the lack of living-space made it extremely difficult for us to fully appreciate and enjoy our stay.

1) Location is amazing. Literally less than 5 Mins walk to Zurich HB where there are 100s of shops including & most importantly - Coop! 2) The hotel offers a free drink per head for each guest if you forego room cleaning for your stay (eco friendly initiative). Win-win for all, we had a couple of Lovely cocktails at their amazing bar/restaurant. 3) Staff were great, the Room was very nice with great amenities like a very cool Marshall speaker. Loved the window with the city view as well. 4) Cost-wise better than other choices around the same location. 5) They have movie nights where you can go and watch movies for free in their cinema room. This is a very cool feature because this kind of thing is only available in hostels & chances are in peak cold, you will come back early to your hotel. P.S. - In one of the pics, u see my pet toy pug enjoying the view from the hotel room window. The real one is ruling her kingdom back in our home country 🩷🐶

The washbasin could have been inside the bathroom if the room design was made in such a way. I did not like that the basin was in the room. The transparent washroom was cool as we were a couple though u have ways of covering the shower area. Might be an issue if straight guy/girl friends go unless they are close.

So we stayed two nights in two different rooms. The first night in a Star room. While technically it is a river view, there is a huge Coop supermarket in the way. You can see the view in my second photo. Tho the room was bigger I was really paying for the view and so I was disappointed. Our flight was cancelled so we stayed a second night we had to check out and check back in, but the hotel staff was nice enough to let us have a late check out on the Star room and got our Lovely room ready early, so we just walked around Zürich for a couple hours. The view from the Lovely room was very charming (last photo) and we would have been fine in just that room. If we stay again, we will choose a Lovely room.

The view from the Star room was disappointing (see photo). Tho the room itself was nice.

1. The hotel is located close to the city center and main railway station. You can easily access everything you need. 2. It’s well designed and looks very pleasant.

1. The room wasn’t spacious. 2. The shower cabin stands right in the room. There is no separate bathroom. 3. Even though the breakfast was good, there were no hot meals (just boiled eggs and appetizers). It would be nice to serve at least omelette.

The location was good and check in process was simple and staff were friendly and helpful

The size of the room was very small and it was an upgrade. Went to the gallery for a cup of coffee but it did not meet my expectations, it was a sink with instant coffees

The venue was very well located for walking around the centre of Zurich. It was clean and the staff were very receptive. Also very convenient for the train station (easy walking distance). It did appear to be aiming its marketing at an under 40 demographics with its retro velvet style and decor, so I wonder what it is like on a weekend. It had the feel of a Q or W hotel, which is very cool, but perhaps not for older guests. We stayed Sunday & Monday night so was quite quiet I see no reason not to stay there again though when in Zurich.

The reception is in/at the bar, which seemed a little strange. There was no mini bar or room coffee/tea so you had to walk along the corridor to go to a room with a coffee machine and vending machine for water etc. You had to pay.

Great location, right opposite the station, and nicely decorated in keeping with the old building. The bar downstairs seemed great, although I didn't use it. Comfortable bed, nice toiletries, and a mini kitchen with tea, coffee and a vending machine on each floor, as well as an ironing board

The reception is just the end of the bar, which was a bit hectic when the staff are making drinks and also trying to deal with guests. This isn't specific to the Ruby Mini, but the bed frame was of that type that sticks out far beyond the mattress and grazes your calf when trying to squeeze past the corner - a bit more space would have been better, and a shelf wide enough to work on a laptop.

The location to the train station is unmatched! It is less than a five minute walk - perfect if you have luggage or need to base your trip in Zurich and take multiple day trips. The hotel is also located a block in from the main road so it’s not crowded/loud. The aesthetic is super minimalist modern - set in an old movie theater. It reminded me of a European Moxy Hotel. The room was very clean. Just note that the set-up is different from most hotels - our bathroom sink was on the outside of the bathroom, separate from the toilette and shower (I believe we had a queen room). Again, if you’ve been to NYC, this isn’t uncommon due to space. If you are someone who likes privacy, I could see this being an obstacle. For my stay, it was perfect and I had no issues with it. The bar is open 24/7 and the staff is incredibly helpful.

The location of this hotel was absolutely prime - practically across the street from the main train station, easy access to anything you could want to see in Zurich. It has a very cute courtyard and its close to the river. It's cosy and compact, but it had everything we needed and was laid out really well. The shower is essentially a glass box adjoined to the toilet closet, with views to the bedroom (and an optional curtain for those who are shy). Perfect for a romantic stay for couples!

There's nothing that comes to mind. It was a wonderful stay for our short visit. It's not a huge room, but it makes up for it's size with it's style and thoughtful layout.
