Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Best breakfast buffet in our Turkish journey, and lovely ladies would even make omelets or scrambled eggs for us. Our room (in a cave) was huge, as well as the bathroom, with a giant bath tub (although we didn't use it) and a double shower. The balloon flight arranged by the hotel was fairly priced and with a reliable company. Our driver for a one day private tour (Mohamed) was really nice, although he didn't speak much English, but we managed to communicate via Google translator.

They charged us 50 € for paying with credit card.

The owners and staff are very nice, attentive and friendly. Breakfast is very good even though not much options but mezzas here were the best I tried in Turkey. We staid in the cave room and it was super clean, not dusty, not smelly and had a heated floor with a very accurate temperature control panel.

We booked the day tour here but the thing is the hotel doesn't have their own guide so they use guides from outside. We were very unlucky with our guide as he was talking on the phone and even didn't say hello to us when we met him. Will omit many things happened but overall it was not a good experience with him.

We had an amazing stay at Taskonak! They were so helpful before my arrival with arranging airport transfers and providing info around activities. Upon arrival (late in the evening) we were welcomed and given all sorts of tips on the region and the town itself. The room was super clean and had all the amenities (even under floor heating!). Breakfast was superb and the ladies making breakfast were so friendly. We also had a nice chat with Angela and Yilmaz which made it feel very homely. The hotel is centrally located and all the restaurants and shops are only a few mins walk. The view from the roof terrace (and from our room) was incredible with the hot air balloons in the morning. I would 100% recommend staying here!

Staff is great! They really made a difference in our stay. Everyone is extremely helpful and attentive. The owner, Angela, is also very helpful and gave us all the answers we needed even before our checkin. We were there at the end of August, we stayed in one of the cave suites. It was a very pleasant experience, we always had water, tea and coffee in the room. Very good shower. Bed and pillows ok. The location of the hotel is amazing, it's close to everything to get around on foot. The view from the terrace is very beautiful! It is very pleasant to stay on the terrace after a tiring day of sightseeing. Alcohol is not sold at the hotel, but you are allowed to bring alcohol and drink inside the hotel. Breakfast is delicious! Lots of sweet and savory options... it's a mix of Turkish breakfast and continental breakfast. This mix is ​​very positive, as it caters to all tastes! The food is simple, homemade and delicious!

I don’t even know where to begin. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and friendly. From helping us with information, booking us on last-minute tours, preparing a 6am breakfast on the roofrop for us before our airport pick-up, to sitting with us for a chat and saying goodbye. Truly amazing service! The kitchen staff preparing a tasty breakfast spread and the cleaning staff doing an excellent job at making sure we have a comfortable and clean room. The staff really made us feel at home and welcome! The whole place was cozy and clean and perfectly situated from the little town center with an excellent view of the balloons at sunrise. Can only highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Angela, one of the owners, made sure my first full day in Cappadocia was amazing. I arrived after finishing my hot air balloon flight, and before I even checked in she offered me breakfast (which was great) and drop off my bags. She answered all of my questions, provided some awesome suggestions for hiking trails, and even gave me a detailed hand drawn map for some destinations to look for. It made it feel like a proper adventure! After returning from my long hike, I checked in, relaxed in the bath, cleaned off. The room is excellent, the service is great, the breakfast is wonderful (ask for an omelette!). I wish I spent one more day here.

After three weeks in Turkey, staying at Taskonak Hotel was a memorable place to close out our trip. A couple of hundred metres up the hill from the town centre, the property and rooms are beautifully built with lots of stone and timber, and fitted out with stylish, quality furnishings. We could watch the balloons each morning from our bed (though we usually wandered out to the terrace with a coffee - the views over Goreme are first class... we could just about touch the balloons!). Yilmaz and Angela and their wonderful staff really know how to look after guests and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend a stay at Taskonak to anyone staying in Goreme.

We had a wonderful stay in the cave suite and can only recommend staying in this place. The organization is perfect, every question was answered, every wish fulfilled, the room is very big and clean and comfortable, it is totally quiet, the breakfast and the view from the terrace are amazing, everything is within walking distance, they even organized mountainbikes for our trips into the valleys, which we also can recommend. So all in all our stay was perfect and we would come back. Cappadocia is a magical and wonderful place one really has to visit. And get up early (~4:30am) to see the balloons from the terrace.

There was as a bit of a mix up with booking the balloon ride. Even though we had specifically asked for the earliest possible hour for the balloon take off, it was not what happened, We ended taking off from a neighborhood which was further than the center of Goreme.

The property was perfectly located, only a quick walk to the center of Goreme where all the stores and restaurants are. The terrace area was beautifully put together and was simply the perfect spot to be at to see the air balloons every morning. The manager there booked us the air balloon, ATV ride and got us a car rental for a better price than we could find online or at any booking agencies, he was always available to give us recommendations or answer any questions we had about the area, Cappadocia, or anything else we needed, he was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, it was very feeling and kept us full till evening for dinner. If you stay at Taskonak you must try the omelette, it is delicious!! Our stay just couldn’t have been better !! :)
