Location

Didn’t had an elevator. For me wasn’t a problem, but can be to others. Also, we paid 5€ each for breakfast to only receive a card and consume at a coffee outside. The menu there costs less than 5€…

One of the top hostels in the center of Madrid (yes, it is in the center. If you are American and can't walk more than 5 min, your opinion doesn't really matter). Room is modern, clean and very good price. Better than some 3 star hotels I've stayed. The fact that every time you get in you need to ring the main door and wait on the street if no one is there can be a little annoying, but on the other hand it means the place is safer than others and has 24 reception (with a person actually there all time)

The room was comfortable, but you could hear everything that went on in the other rooms, walls are very thin and not sound proof.

The stairs all the way to the hotel are very steep, if you have big luggages I would suggest not choosing this option and no one offered help with the luggage, staff was very minimal with their interactions and very serious.

Well located in Madrid near Plaza de Madrid. The breakfast deal is good value. Initially the hotel seemed somewhat downmarket, especially from the outside. The cardboard on the steps leading up gave a worse impression. However, fears were dispelled by the spotless room with clean, crisp sheets, a strong shower and a functioning air conditioner. Superb value for money at a busy time.

Maybe a more easily spotted sign might help.

Very nice location within walking distance from Madrid center and main streets, 10 minutes walking to Gran Via and to Puerta de Sol, Plaza Mayor,.... Easy access, there are stairs to reach the accommodation at the 3rd floor, no elevator. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and nice. comfy beds.

Friendly staff, free map, breakfast location, quiet street, local metro and bus services, lots of areas within walking distance for food.

Nothing negative for me but the two floors of stairs may put some off

Location is superb, speciality cafe and metro nearby as well as some winery and bistro - actually in 250 meters. Clean.

The street was a bit noisy even after midnight under our terrace. The bed was comfy but unfortunately too little for a mid sized couple...

The hostel is very close to the nearest Metro station stop.It is within walking distance to Madrid main attractions The room was small but clean with a private bathroom. There are shops and nice cafes in the main street 2-5 min away from the hostel.

The breakfast in La Doña (with voucher) was a good alternative.

There was no frigobar and with the hot summer we missed it.

There was a nice location in center of Madrid , the stafs are helpful and breakfast served on the local cafe near to this hostel it's not complete breakfast but it was well , I've had good time there , hope I'll stay here for next trip. Saludos

The air-conditioning was not work , I asked many time to the staff it's freezing but my room was still cold , the ma'am who's speak English is so kind and helpful at the front desk but others can't speak English well of course it's Okay they are Spanish 😍 There were many stairs, which can be difficult for the elderly
