The location, I look to use the metro and it’s literally 2 minutes away from Sharaf DG Metro Station. I like the fact that it lives up to its expectations as a four star hotel. Extra point for having a scale to manage luggage.

The Food or rather the breakfast, it was too typical Indian food not catering much for other cuisine preferences. I love and enjoy Indian food but not much on the breakfast options.

The hotel is located very close to a metro station, which makes getting around very easy. There are also a lot of reasonably priced restaurants and shops around. The room was large, comfortable and clean, definitely great value for money. Staff was very friendly and helpful whenever required. This was my second stay at this hotel and would really like to stay again given the chance.

I was unable to regulate the water in the shower, it was either too hot or too cold. There could have been a greater variety of TV channels. Music vibrations from the night club could be felt. In all fairness to the hotel, I was offered a room on the seventh floor but opted for one on the fourth. For me it was not an issue, would happily stay in the same room again. Nothing else to complain about, the hotel was great value for money.

The staff on reception were absolutely fantastic . I can not thank them enough . From arriving and being given a choice of well equipped spacious clean rooms to getting taxis and Ubers on NYE and explaining all the room services to giving us water on check out , they just did everything they could to make us have a lovely stay . There was nothing not to like. This hotel was the cheapest out of the last 20 I have stayed in in the UAE and they provided the best customer service !

Location within 2 minutes walk distance from Metro, very friendly staff, the hotel provides early check-in - need only wait until they finish cleaning up the room. During waiting time provide WiFi access, soft drink... The room was clean and big enough.

It is impossible to add a bar bill to the room invoice and the same for breakfast - if you book a room without breakfast but want to have it - the customer should pay with a credit card every time and breakfast room counter. It is impossible to just add the breakfast value to the room invoice or pay all with one payment at check-out. Means - keep your credit card with you all the time. Before arriving I several times wrote to the Hotel concerning the early check-in possibility. Never received any answer... At check-in, I received an explanation that the hotel could provide it if rooms are available and that is known only when customers checking-in... Why this can't be explained by a simple answer in an e-mail?

The location was great in terms of being close to the airport and train, although I was approached 4 to 5 times walking near the hotel across my two day visit (not the hotel’s fault at all) and had people approaching me and making comments about my weight. Although I’m by no means in the best of physical condition, I have never experienced this before elsewhere in Dubai (or in the world). On each occasion I was simply walking and not engaging with anyone. It was very odd to experience this multiple times from different people each time.

Best hotel in the area. It is situated between two metro stations so it is very convenient to travel towards downtown and old Dubai both. Had many options for Indian restaurants at 5 mins walking distance. And also many malls are located at walking distance from the hotel. Staff is very helpful and courteous and always are willing to help us. Thanks to staff Arun who suggested all good places to visit during our stay. Staff also gave upgrade on our booking to Premiere rooms which were very spacious and had all necessary facilities.

This hotel now operates under new management. I always stay at this hotel during my visit to Dubai. Close to metro, restaurants and market. The other reason I choose this hotel because of sauna. All staffs are very attentive and helpful, specially, Jonathan at the front desk, who provided me free upgrade to a larger room with nicer view and also allowed me for late check out. Bhojraj at the gym/pool and Dawod were also very helpful. Full value of money.

Now they have a night club at the ground floor and you can hear the sound up to the fifth floor until 3 in the morning. Doesn't look like the property is maintained as before. Broken umbrella at the pool side, low quality green tea and coffee bags, etc. which they need to improve. Also, now they start charging a high charge of AED 100 for extra guest which doesn't make sense.

Everything OK

This hotel is very conveniently located, at just 10-15 minutes drive from the airport (great when you arrive late) and right at the center of Bur Dubai. The charming old city area (Bastakiya in particular) and the Dubai museum (closed at the moment) are just 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The room and bathroom are slightly dated but impeccably clean and we slept really well. It was very good value for money at under 100 euros per night. The reception desk kept our luggage the next day, after check out, while we went sightseeing.

No strong negatives. It would be time to update the room and bathroom decoration, but quite frankly, it's not a big problem.
