The location was ideal for our needs, being close to Alsager and the high street, plus the proximity to Crewe Hall were a family member was attending a function. The double room had all the amenities we needed for a short stay, the bed was comfortable, and the room was super clean. The breakfast in the morning was the highlight of our stay, with everything cooked fresh, having made your choices and ordered the evening before.

Possibly a room information card, explaining the hotels facilities, i.e. the availability of a bar, wi-fi code and other pertinent details.

The fact that you accepted my dog, without extra charge was a real bonus. There was a separate dog exercise garden, with dog waste bin provided, again excellent. My dog was allowed to accompany me to breakfast which again was a lovely touch. Onto breakfast, the choices were amazing, all freshly cooked, cereal all individually boxed, yogurt choices, juices, all lovely. Totally fantastic place to stay, and will more than likely use you again when visiting family who live just 2 minutes down the road.

Only slight issue was the stairs for my Dad. He has lived in a bungalow for over 20 years now, and has not climbed stairs ever since moving. He did manage, but it would have been a little assistance if someone had offered to help him with his bags, as I had my bags and dog to manage. He did not ask for help, however, as he is too proud. I do expect that if we had asked, help would have been offered though.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean as was the hotel and grounds, we stayed on an extra night and came home today, really didn't want to come home it was so comfortable. They only did breakfast, but it was cooked very well full English with toast and cereals. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and easy to talk to, all in all its one of the best stays me and my friend ever had at a hotel. So much so that we will definitely be using again.

Nothing, it was perfect in every way

We like the location as it was very close to the M6. The room was comfortable. Yes, the decor is not the most up-to-date, but we didn't expect it to be. It's not a destination, just a convenient place to break the journey. Good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hearty breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.

A small bottle of shampoo was provided but not shower gel. Perhaps dispensers for soap and shower gel could be installed to reduce the use of single use plastic. We could have done with a coat hook or two for outdoor coats.

We were made most welcome, we were in the area for a funeral and the owners were very accommodating with an early check-in. The hotel is very dog friendly. We were seated at a table in the window bay away from other diners. It's the first hotel where our two dogs have ever been permitted to lay under the table while we ate our fab full English breakfast. A great experience. There is a lawn garden to the side of the hotel (not secure) with a picnic table. Ideal for the dogs to have a nice sniff and some fresh air. Everywhere was spotless, our hosts were very friendly and attentive. We are looking forward to another visit in happier circumstances. The pub just along the road was very convenient for an evening meal. Easy parking.

The host couldn’t have been more welcoming, really friendly and very helpful with our trip to Alsager. The property is immaculate, bed and bedding were so soft and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and our stay there was seamless. The host even helped us with our taxi arrangements and chatted to us throughout our stay.

There was nothing not to like. Everything was perfect.

Friendly, helpful owner with efficient process for booking breakfast etc. Location very close to the motorway with a walkable pub and convenience store. Short drive into village with lots of food options.

Nothing much to dislike really. Breakfast was tasty and well-presented. Decor is a little dated and shower a bit weedy but it was perfectly clean and great value for money.

Staff were lovely and really helpful. Explained everything and gave us a taxi number. Great location for a wedding at the Manor house and good value for money. The bed was so soft, a little uncomfortable for me but that's completely personal preference. Brilliant home cooked breakfast too with lots of choice. Nothing felt like you were asking too much. Would definitely recommend here.

All good, nice clean modern interior,very nice breakfast ,all very well organised. Bar not open currently but looks cosy ,and pub for dinner just a few minutes walk down the road. Hosts very friendly.Thanks.😊

A fan in the room would have been appreciated as our room faced busy road ,so with window closed (effectively) for noise control it was a bit warm and stuffy .

Henry was very friendly, the room was more than adequate and the breakfast was extremely good. Despite being on the main road, the road noise was minimal and despite no evening meal available, there are pubs, shops and restaurants in close proximity.

Not a lot. Would I be staying again, I would choose a double room, as I'm not a fan of a single bed, however; this was my decision and not a fault of the hotel at all. Everything I asked for was provided.
