Location was excellent. Special.praise to all the staff, very friendly and attentative. Breakfast was excellent.

The lounge area/ bar area was rather cold and uninviting to sit, although there were plenty of comfortable chairs. To sit down and enjoy some heating was required to provide comfort. As regards the dinner, while the portions were excellent, we felt that how the meals were prepared in the use of different tastes etc. The steak for example did not require the preparation of chimichiri, which destroyed the taste of the steak. As regards the confit on the duck menu , the confit needs to be the leg or part of the leg on the plate and not a custom slice amongst the potatoes. Special praise for the crumble and cheese cake.

The best spa I have ever stayed in. We booked it as part of a hen weekend and it was the perfect start for our bride to be. Staff can't do enough for you and the swim up bar is perfect!

The indoor pool was closed the next morning, which was a shame as we all wanted to use it but there was an issue with the chemicals. We asked if we could use the outside pool instead and they refused. I think it should have been taken into consideration for us to use it before breakfast due to there being 8 of us paying to stay.

The staff were very friendly & attentive. Any problems or requests were quickly resolved. Always greeted with a smile. The hotel itself was lovely. Very clean. It has a calm relaxed ambience, plenty of nice seating areas indoors & outside. Hotel users also have access to an indoor pool & small gym which I sadly didn't get the chance to use. The full English breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. Overall, there is a very chilled out vibe to the hotel & I highly recommend it.

There is no way to phone them up & talk to a human. Every time I phoned I got a robot voice telling me to use the website which was frustrating. I needed to book another night & wanted to use the same room but had to wait til I arrived at reception then had to book it on my phone because they only take online bookings but the receptionist was lovely & it was all resolved seamlessly.

The hotel is in such an amazing picturesque area, the staff are brilliant special shout out to Michelle with the short blonde hair in the restaurant who made one of our evenings very special! During our whole stay we felt at ease and left feeling very relaxed! This is our 3rd time visiting and we will certainly be back again!

At one point we did hear a colleague and or manager having ago at a staff member up the stairs in the restaurant and we did not find this very professional and we did see said waitress looking very upset and distressed after this… This would be my only concern was we thought it was highly inappropriate to do that in that setting with other guests around.

Room was great and super king bed a bonus. Pool/gym facilities very welcome in the late afternoon/evening. Food in the restaurant and breakfast very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

If there was one piece of constructive feedback it’s that the food in the restaurant tends to come out too quickly especially between courses which makes the experience feel a bit rushed.

Extremely helpful and friendly Staff, amazing breakfast options and beautiful decor of entire hotel.

Restrictive access to indoor swimming pool/spa area. We had a wedding first day and time parameters were too short in the morning to enjoy the indoor facilities. No hotel guest deals/package add ons to use outdoor spa facilities without paying for a whole spa day package, we just ate breakfast why would we need food again to use the spa facilties for a couple hours. Was happy to pay an additional fee but £90 each is too much.

The bathroom was a little small but clean and adequate. I had to ask for a shower cap, usually supplied. Breakfast was excellent including the service. The evening meal was very good too with a good vegetarian dish.

Looking forward to an early morning swim, I was very disappointed that the pool was closed. I wish we could book by telephone being of an age which likes to speak to someone.

Amazing SPA facilities, especially their outdoor garden facilities, worth every penny. We had their main outdoor pool with swim up bar all to ourselves and it was the best experience. Lovely restaurant and bar, the food was top notch (short rib as a starter is main course worthy).

A little cold in common areas, no heating in the hall

It was a nice short stay, the staff were very welcoming. I enjoyed my spa treatment, two ladies which I can't remember their names were great! I loved everything

It was a last minute booking, so we didn't get water and slippers on the first night in our room (110). The pool times for the children were not ideal (7am till 9am) my boys were too tired and couldn't make it for those times.

Food was very good at breakfast and dinner. Room was comfortable and clean but cramped for a wheelchair user. Bathroom was properly adapted for a wheelchair user but, again, cramped.

The dining room was upstairs and there was a special lift provided for wheelchair users to reach it. However, the route from the lift to the dining room on the first floor was so restricted that I had to remove the footrest on my wheelchair in order to get through.
