Breakfast was terrific. Set us up for the day! Easy to find location. Spotlessly clean, well decorated (fresh), and above all roomy! Great en-suite (just like home)! Susan gave us a warm welcome and remained friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Such good manners and kindness are not reflected at all B & B's! Perhaps we were fortunate, the other guests were lovely young people from Holland. So polite! Made for a delightful stay.

Dont expect a "Scottish" view. It is in town, but the price per night more than reflects this fact. So in fact there was nothing to complain about.

Kevin and Elaine are extremely warm hosts who kindly accommodated our altered arrival time and gave very specific instructions for how to access the room. The room was extremely clean and tidy and there was a lot of supplementary reading material and guides to help us plan our Scotland trip further! For breakfast Elaine kindly cooked us a lavish vegetarian meal with 6-7 different varieties, different from the usual beans and mushrooms that we get at B&Bs! The house is also a short walk from the park where you can walk to Balloch castle and have a lakeside walk!

Kevin welcomed us and showed us around. The room was nice and cozy, the beds comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very good and we enjoyed it every day. Kevin took some time and chatted with us on both days. We learned a lot from him, which was just great. His tips for getting around in Balloch proved very helpful. Thank you! Weather was unusual hot for Scotland. I guess this will become the new normal. There was a fan in the room to cool things down. But at some point in the future, an air condition may be needed.

We were in the "garden apartment" which could accommodate 3 people. The pull-out couch bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location is FABULOUS- we could walk to beautiful Balloch Castle Country Park, pubs and restaurants. Kevin and Elaine were very helpful. We were warmly greeted and felt well cared for. The breakfast was excellent.

The living room with the pull-out couch has sky lights, so the room became light very early in the morning in July! I had an eye mask so I was able to sleep later.

Stayed at the Woodvale B&B 23rd -26th June. We had been to a family wedding in Gretna so decided to stay in Scotland a few more days & chose Loch Lomond & settled on Balloch. Couldn't have been more happy with our choice, the hosts Kevin & Elaine couldn't have been more welcoming & friendly giving great recommendations on where to visit in the area & places to eat.....thank you. Our room was great, bed very comfy, nice fluffy towels, tea & coffee making facilities. The full breakfast was delicious thank you Elaine & thanks to Kevin & his hunting skills we had haggis on two occasions. The B&B was a 5min walk from restaurants, shops & the Loch so we couldn't have picked a better place to stay & Balloch was a great base to visit so much of the beautiful surrounding areas. Thank you Kevin & Elaine for making our first visit to Loch Lomond a most pleasant one!

I absolutely loved everything about this bnb. It really felt like the hosts wanted the guests to have a lovely, cozy experience. Some places feel like they are doing the bare minimum to get good ratings, but Kevin and Elaine were absolutely wonderful in every way. They offer a lovely breakfast, they are available to accommodate their guests. I think it was the best bnb experience I ever had.

Amazing hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Very friendly and go that extra mile to make your stay special. Spotlessly clean. Good facilities and have everything you need and more. Location is central to everything. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. 👌

it was very good, to improve - fans in the room (was very hot) and whilst subjective the bed was quite firm for me and the wife. I would provide fresh milk for teas in the dining room fridge and provide mugs rather than cup and saucer - again a personal preference. Liked the usb lamps, perhaps a bit more thought about concealing the 4 way adaptors for the tv but these are all minor improvements - it was very good.

Absolutely delightful self-contained apartment at the back of the B&B – clean, comfortable and with everything you could need to stay longer (dining table, board games, cooking facilities etc.). The owners were lovely and provided one of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve ever had at a B&B!

My first B&B stay and it was a delightful experience. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. The cooked breakfast just sets you up for the whole day. My host was super nice and welcoming. Will definitely recommend this place if your visiting loch lomond and it's surrounding.
