Welcoming atmosphere and Peter went out of his way to explain places to visit and locations which allowed us to get our bearings. Great central location, just walk through the carpark park and everything was within reach. Breakfast excceded our expectations with wonderful freshly cooked food, excellent coffee and tea and a good continental choice too. Lovely comfy bed, I had two great nights sleep there. Safe Parking on site, which is much cheaper than using the carparks around Bath as these are expensive. We left the car on site during our stay and walked. Would I book again - yes YES planning to come back to Bath for the Xmas market.

Dated decoration but was perfect fine and suited the purpose.

Elgin Villa is located within an easy 10 minute walk of the city centre and the private paid parking at the rear, which is reached via the Charlotte St car park, is a bonus. Rooms are on the first and second floor - we were on the second - and our room, #5, was immaculately clean and spacious enough to be comfortable. Breakfast is of a continental style, it's both more than adequate and plentiful, plus there are two hot options: Porridge & Scrambled egg on toast, so no reason to go hungry. The one thing that is not available is wi-fi but I found the phone data signal at 5G, so no problem with internet. What of the hosts - Peter and Margarita are absolutely lovely and go out of their way to ensure you are happy. We would happily recommend this B&B to anyone.

Peter and his wife are absolutely lovely! They're very attentive and kind. They personally show you up to your room and try to help make your trip to Bath as lovely as possible. The view from the room was beautiful and the bathroom is very nice. The location of the hotel is amazing, it's less than a 5 minute walk to the royal cresent and maybe a 5/10 minute walk into the town centre. Also it's only £5 a day for parking your car (amazing for Bath!).

The hotel could definitely use a bit of visual modernisation and maybe a new mattress or two. For the price you pay I think it's exceptional. Do not book this hotel if you are sensitive to dust. While every surface is exceptionally clean, the building itself is very old and it's a bit ingrained in everything. This wouldn't have been an issue however I'm highly sensitive to dust and have serious hayfever. I couldn't breathe through my nose whilst being in the hotel. This is very much a personal issue and not one of the hotel but if you have similar issues to the ones I have, then book somewhere else.

Very comfortable accommodations with the double bed & two twin beds. Bathroom in room with skylight and plenty of towels. Perfect for our family of 4 adults. Hosts are lovely and very helpful recommending sights to see and how to get there. Simple breakfast offerings but very enjoyable. On site parking available through the back gate.

Top floor in the house which was rather warm. We were travelling in June when temperatures where quite high. Limited air circulation in the room - suggest the properly offer a fan in the room.

Peter and his wife were warm and welcoming and eager to be helpful. The room was spacious and beautiful and clean and well furnished and perfect for our needs .The bed was very comfortable. Thanks, Peter, for a delightful stay!!

It might have been nice to have some other hot food options for breakfast. Bacon? Sausage? But the breakfast offered was delicious!

Location was excellent 200 yds from the Royal Crescent and a short 10 minute walk to the city centre. On site parking was good. Very friendly hosts. A traditional B&B.

Nothing to complain about really, some blackout curtains would have helped as the daylight woke us up very early. We were on the very top floor. Breakfast was simple, suited us but might not suit if you like a full English.

Great location. The ability to park behind the property was perfect. The breakfast was simple but nicely done. Hosts were very nice.

No WiFi being provided. The toilet above our room was incredibly loud - on the last night there were people staying there and everytime the toilet flushed during the night it woke us all up. The hot water took a long time to come in.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts and a beautiful building in the centre of Bath. A very short walk to the city centre through the car park at the rear. A clean and classically held room suited to the building. A lovely breakfast service provided and very clear communication from the hosts.

The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave early due to a change of plans...

I stayed with my 12 years old son in Elgin Villa for a couple of nights. It is an excellent place to stay: very clean, very polite and kind owners, very close to the city centre and all places of interest. The house is in a quiet street, two minutes walk from two of the famous landmarks and a pretty park. The breakfast was perfect! The room, number 2, was big and the king size bed was very comfortable. I will do not hesitate to stay there again when I go back to Bath.

I liked everything. I felt like I was staying at a relative's rather than a B&B.

The location is excellent. Easy walking distance to both city centre and to countryside. They offer relatively cheap parking and sent very good instructions for how to get to the car park. The hosts were friendly and attentive but were not intrusive.

The breakfast was a bit limited with the only hot option being scrambled eggs.
