The receptionist when we arrived was lovely. A lady who was tending the bar greeted us as we came in and then booked us in simply and efficiently. Explained the bar and the opening times as well which was good. The room was OK with all main needs, soap on the wall a small TV and a kettle. It was also ridiculously clean and well maintained by the cleaning staff, tops of cupboards and corners were clean as a whistle. The breakfast in the morning was truly the best Ibis one I've had, fresh produce and again the service was impeccable, more akin to a good reaturant with the servers keeping the place spotless and well stocked, and asking people if it was OK. Truly again top notch service.

OK so the room itself is dated. Wood chip wall and small. The shower was functional and don't get me wrong everything worked but it does need a refresh. The aircon as well was very noisy and ineffective, which being in the heart of Brum meant we couldn't open the double double glazing and sleep.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed, although access to an iron may have been useful. The location of the hotel was fabulous as we were catching the train out to Witton. Breakfast which on this occasion was complimentary, was well presented and the staff very attentive, keeping everything well stocked. Am please to say that we are already booked in for a return visit in September.

Very little parking at the hotel but a fabulous scheme in operation with the Apcoa car park directly opposite who charged the same as the hotel providing the car park ticked is stamped by Ibis.

The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and sincere. They were really what made the stay. The bar and food were both excellent. In general, the hotel was clean and in a great location.

Our room seemed a little cobbled together compared to other rooms. There were no bedside tables and there was a pile in the corner that contained a mirror, a fan, some spare pillows and so on. All of this would usually be nicely arranged or in cupboards. It wasn’t dirty or unsafe, but it wasn’t as nice as other rooms in the same hotel.

I don't have anything bad to say really. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was a buffet and cheap and could be added on arrival which was very very delicious. The room was spacious and clean with enough towels and paper. Although at night it can get very noisy beacuse we was above the clubs/bars that went on until 3am but with the double windows it counter outs alot of the noise. Walking distance from the train station, shops and arena so didn't have to spend money on taxis ect.

The only thing I would say is it would be nice to acouple more plugs near the bed and a fridge to keep water in.

The staff were fantastic, really polite and attentive and made extra effort to make us feel special. The room facilities were fine, it was quiet enough and the lobby was nice and relaxing. We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday and I messaged in advance to ask that they wish my wife happy birthday on arrival. Not only did they do that, but they provided sparkling wine in our room with glasses, and a special birthday message to my wife, which was a very nice and unexpected touch. I had also called the hotel a few days in advance to extend our stay by an extra night, and not only was Vuk extremely professional and friendly, but he gave us a very good price for the extra night; much lower than I had expected!

Everything was good. I guess it would benefit from more electrical sockets, as it wasn't easy for us to charge our phones at the same time, but that's a very minor issue.

Location was SUPERB! 5 minute walk from the New Street Station and the Bull Ring Shopping Centre, as well as clubs and venues! Room was quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Excellent value for money. Bathroom with nice smelling toiletries. WiFi was great.

There was a light in my room which kept flickering on and off and it was right above the mirror so I had less light when checking my outfit for the evening. Shame at time of booking only the Twin room was available at the price I paid (the 2 single beds room) because I only used 1 bed as it was just me travelling.

We arrived and parked on site without any fuss and we were fairly central to everything. Just a few minutes walk to the Bull Ring shopping. It was a lovely surprise on arrival when we were told that we were guests of the day and had free breakfast and drinks vouchers to use at the bar. The room was very clean but a little warm during the night. Luckily there was a fan in the room that helped with this. Highly recommended.

Room was slightly too hot at night. The opening to drive in to the secure car park was very narrow so took a little manoeuvring to get through safely.

The room was small particularly the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spotless but would certainly be a squeeze for a larger person. Breakfast had a good selection and the staff were excellent on both mornings. Evening meal on the first night was basic but great to have food available in the hotel after travelling.

Exterior noise was a bit of an issue on the 2nd night but that has to be balanced with the convenience of location. Coffee ordered with the meal on Thursday left a lot to be desired would not recommend. Coffee available at breakfast good so disappointed with the poor quality and cost of the coffee with the evening meal.

We had a 3-people room and it was very spacious, with a very large shower. The room was clean and with nice designs. The location of the hotel is in China Town, which is filled with Asian restaurants including a delicious Sushi place called Takumi which I can recommend. The staff were very helpful and nice, and managed to get a 3rd duvet for our room on very short notice. The breakfast was lovely too with great pastries and a good coffee machine with lattes etc. There were lovely soaps and shampoos provided in the bathroom. The hotel is very close to the New Street train station.

We were set at the back of the hotel, which faced a square with a lot of nightclubs / party places with rather loud beaty music until the early hours of the morning. Despite the double windows, we could feel the beat. The beds were slightly harder than we would like, but otherwise the duvets were nice and soft.

Breakfast: Good, perhaps more choice of fruit, but plenty of choice Room: very clean and had everything you needed. Room a bit small, but suited me perfect as a lone visitor. Perhaps a couple more cartons of milk would have been useful Location: good for railway station. Lots of choice of bars and restaurants. Nice vibe about the area.

For price paid cannot think of anything. Only thing went wrong on my visit was plug got stuck in plug hole and could not unblock it. Reported it to staff at end of visit.
