Title: A Cozy Retreat in Birmingham I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guest house in Birmingham, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. Location: The guest house is conveniently located close to the NEC, making it easy to explore the city. It’s just a short drive from local attractions, restaurants, and public transport, which was perfect for our weekend getaway. Accommodation: Our room was spacious, clean, and decorated with a cozy ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we got a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. We appreciated the little touches, like and a kettle for tea and coffee. Amenities: The guest house offered a lovely breakfast spread was delightful, with a variety of options to suit and a selection of cereals made for a satisfying start to our days. Service: The owners were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They provided great recommendations for local dining and attractions, which really enhanced our experience. Overall Experience: Our stay at this guest house was a highlight of our trip to Birmingham. It strikes the perfect balance between comfort and charm, making it a wonderful place to retreat after a day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and homey place to stay in the city! Rating: ★★★★★

The guesthouse all good, access to it, was a bit tricky owing to road diversions and signs of road closures Millie the guesthouse owner will provide information on how to proceed and navigate it

We loved the location. Very quiet and peaceful. It's a 15/20 minute walk to the resort world arena and birmingham international train station. And even if you need to take a taxi, it would still be cheaper to stay here, rather the other hotels nearer to the nec, including the taxi fare! :) The owner was great! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to realise she owned horses and ponies was a bonus for me because I used to ride. I had a chance to meet the horses and ponies in the field as we was heading out to the bp pulse live to watch a concert. The room was brilliant. Very clean, cosy and comfortable, and because you're not in a hotel, you're not constantly hearing people walking past, knocking on doors, random shouting, and being woken up at all hours because of someone who "can't find their room". Breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much for her and gave she us extra toast on request plus extra coffee and orange juice. If we will be coming for another concert, then we will definitely choose church farm accommodation again. Thankyou for your hospitality :))

Nothing......Everthing was perfect for us.

Having recently stayed at Church Farm B&B there were difficulties with road closures and diversions in place but it was well worth the trip. Milly did inform us with email, and her phone number prior if any problems with directions given. Milly also telephoned us before our arrival and offered to stay on the line to ensure we had no issues locating Church Farm. She couldn't of been more helpful. Room was very comfortable, clean and warm with soft bedding, microwave and kettle. Breakfast was really nice and would return. Excellent location for NEC & Airport. Loved petting the horses after breakfast.

Parking was a little snug when accommodation full.

I selected this property for an overnight in Birmingham when we attended the Motorhome Show at the NEC. We arrived late in the evening and our room (a converted stables) was warm and cosy. We had twin beds and they were really comfortable. It was lovely and quiet through the night and because the property is in the countryside it was nice and dark too, helping us sleep peacefully. You could hear aircraft passing overhead after 6am or so but it didn’t bother me as I find it easy to doze off again! The shower was nice and warm with decent water pressure and toiletries were provided. There was a heated towel rail and the towels were clean and fluffy. . It was very good value (we paid just under £100 for B&B) and breakfast was really excellent. The lady who runs the property was very friendly and helpful. Her Dad started the business in 1999 so it’s well established with a good reputation. It’s best suited to those with transport as there’s free parking available and it’s very close to the NEC. Having your own car would also mean easy access to some nice pubs etc nearby. It’s a lovely rural area despite being right beside a huge city! We paid £42 for our 2 taxis (from the airport and to the NEC) but it was still a good option for our visit.

Beautiful location down an English country lane. Converted stable with horses as neighbours. Very convenient for NEC.Excellent cooked breakfast.

No hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience as was the noise from planes landing at the airport nearby.

Fantastic farm property with horses in the same courtyard stables as the accommodation. Earthy and Brilliant. The farm house as you expect is a full-on family based farm with great character. First class breakfast and a good nights sleep and we were visiting NEC which is literally 6 mins by car there and probably similar to the airport.

Nothing except nothing to do with the owners but all around them they have major road works and unless you ring them or contact you may struggle to find them. I did and found Waze app very useful.

The room was clean, fresh and it was a lovely temperature. It slept me, my husband and my 8 year old very comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding and pillows were just right. It had parking for several cars. The location was perfect for the resort arena and taxis back were less than ten pound each way. The host kindly made us breakfast early and it was delicious!! The coffee was good quality. It really set us up for our journey home.

Honestly, I shared a room with my husband and 8 year old and they Always find something to grumble about, but they were both sold! They cannot give me one negative about our stay. Thats an achievement in itself, and makes my trip away easier.

A great place to stop if you are visiting the nec. We love to make use of the easy moderate walk each way, a real bonus rather than having to pay the nec parking fees each day. Near the airport, but in a lovely little village. Rooms are well appointed with really comfy beds and on tap hot water. This is our 3rd visit and wont be our last.

HS2 road works all around this side of Birmingham always make this an adventure, as it is always changing.

Very convenient for the NEC. Under 5 minutes from the North car parks despite HS2 roadworks. Nice, clean accommodation, just the job for one or two nights business trip. Nice and cosy on a cold February night and imagine it would be a delightful spot in summer. Complete antidote to NEC,so very relaxing. Breakfast is in the house and you arrange a time in advance so if in a hurry you could be in and out quickly or linger if you have the time. Nicely home-made.

The pillows were a bit flat for me but I guess it is about personal preference. Bed was firm but comfortable and shower room was well equipped, actually more of a wet room. Could have done with a squeegee for the floor.

Extremely last minute booking for a gig at the Resorts World Arena so was really fortunate that 1. Someone cancelled 2. that this is a really lovely place to stay. Clean tidy room, parking outside, wonderful home cooked breakfast. 15 minutes walk to the arena, if you're staying ask the host the way. Will stay here again if I come to the arena, far more reliable than the trains!

Nothing to do with the host, don't trust your satnav at the moment because HS2 has not only ripped up the landscape but virtually cut off the village.
