Great hotel, very clean, tidy and comfortable. Enjoyable, relaxed breakfast with well prepared and presented food. Exceptionally friendly and courteous staff with the exception of the receptionist which is why I can’t give 10.

On our arrival we were greeted with a rude and unhelpful receptionist named Sharon. We were expecting a double bed room, however, according to Sharon, because we booked through Booking.com (which she reiterated at least three times) the room choice was at the discretion of the hotel. So consequently we had to accept a twin room even though when we checked, the hotel still had double rooms available on that day.

Room adequate shower and bed comfort very good, clean room. Breakfast and evening meal in restaurant very good in terms of food and especially staff attentiveness and friendly service, every member of staff we enacted with throughout our stay, but especially Jacob and Bethany. Chanced on the Manager in his office and was pleased to convey the above comments to him, he was as good as his staff. Hotel location excellent for pedestrian centre access without suffering city centre disadvantages such as noise or difficult access.

Bathroom (shower room) barely large enough ( not something that could be improved ) Car parking although an asset should be included in cost not additional charge. Although room was clean the toilet persistently suffered from a failing seal between cistern to pan , annoying. The stair bannisters were dirty transferring to hands if used as intended. We reported both faults to reception, who thanked us for the information.

I have to be honest - I have tried to avoid this Hotel chain over the past few years, but booked this as it was within easy distance of where my event was. I was very positively surprised by the Hotel. It was accessible, clean, comfortable, everything in the room was well appointed and the staff were beyond helpful! The event I attended was a late one and driving back in, the car park was all secure and I was able to enter as there was ANPR - this made me feel really safe and secure too.

Nothing - the Hotel was spotless and I am a bit gutted that I didn't photograph the mattress brand so that I could buy one for home, it was so comfy! The room had everything we needed and I would definitely go back.

I know Bolton and the Hotel Is only a stones throw from town centre. Enough bars and pubs for a good evening, but best part was going only moments to a big fat double comfy clean mattress and bed.Exceptionally good breakfast, and wonder working staff.

There's nothing that I didn't like, the staff, the food, the room and the bed get Top brass from my honest opinion, the cleaning lady works double bubble and is lovely, and the bed was a fantastically big fat comfy mattress which major brownie points and is spotlessly clean....the staff, are all very polite and approachable... No complaints at all.... I loved it!!!!

Standard hotel of a well-known brand, so you know what you can expect. Good for a short stay. Very friendly staff. The wifi in the room was poor but I got another room with better wifi reception immediately. Comfortable bed in relatively large room. Curtains close of daylight very well. Decent but not exceptional breakfast. Bathroom clearly refurbished in a modern style.

The room did not smell fresh. It was not allowed/possible to open the window (presumably because the room is just above the fans of the outdoor AC units (luckily it was not warm enough to need AC, so the units did not make noise). The bathroom is rather small.

There's a 24-hour desk and the staff is nice. I arrived quite late yet they were helpful and welcoming. I was disappointed with the breakfast because there were no vegan options (not even soya/oat milk), but that's a very common issue these days. The room was basic, but it was clean and the bed was comfy. Stable WIFI, good location, not too far from the railway station.

There was an incident due to a technical issue in the bathroom (shower door). I told the staff and was quickly moved to another room. Later on, I made a complaint which was handled professionally: the manager compensated me by adding some free points to my IHG account. I appreciated the manager's responsiveness and was satisfied with that resolution.

After my previous experience at another hotel in Bolton I wasn't expecting at lot but I thought this hotel was really good: staff very friendly and helpful, very good breakfast even though self service, good ingredients and well cooked, there is a gym with reasonable level of equipment, bedrooms spacious and well equipped. I was travelling with my wife who has early onset dementia and the bed was too small, so they offered to put an extra bed in or move us to a room with 2 single beds no problem. Even though the bathroom is tiny the shower was large which meant I could help my wife shower.

These are really minor points but: 1. The reception staff were for the most part very friendly and helful with exception of 1 lady who didn't serve me but I could hear being rather abrupt with other guests 2. The bathrooms really are small if well equipped. I trapped a finger against the washbasin closing the door! 3. No exercise mats in the gym which was odd

The bed was fantastic, I had a great sleep and woke up restful. The Staff were so helpful and charming. Breakfast was plentiful and an excellent choice. You certainly couldn't go hungry. I will certainly recommend the hotel to family and friends. It will be the first choice if I need to stay over in Bolton again. I was there for Son's Wedding and Wedding couple stay at the hotel too

The parking is a little confusing, but I phoned up the day before and the Staff explained about the underground car park not being suitable for large cars.

1st time that I have stayed here. A very nice hotel located just on the edge of town, about a 15 minute walk from the train station. I stayed in a double room which was adequate for my needs for 1 night. Very comfy bed and a great shower. Breakfast was very good, hot and cold self service with plenty of choices. I would certainly stay here again in the future. If you get the opportunity try and take a peek into the old church area, located to the right hand side of reception, it really is quite amazing!

Just a couple of small things but none of which spoiled my stay. If staying for a few days a small fridge would be very handy. Also there was no proper space for clothes, just a very small wardrobe with a couple of coat hangers.

The Hotel room was so lovely!, spacious, clean. Staff were so helpful and Friendly. Hannah greeted me at check in and provided helpful information. At breakfast Alpesh greeted me with a fabulous smile, asked me my allergy info and then personally walked me round the breakfast bar and gave me information on items which I found really helpful. He made me feel at ease.

Parking was a little tight in the underground car park, but there was always a space available which eased my anxiety whenever arriving back.
