Both Dr John and Jo Ireland are exemplary hosts that go out of their way to accommodate guests and make them feel comfortable. We spend very memorable times in and around Naunton. Johnny was very helpful with suggestions of things to do amd see. The rooms have large picture windows with rolling green hill vistas. This is horse country and we loved the country themes. Thank you for a stay that is memorable, valued and important.

The connectivity to places is good, but the property is a bit isolated and far feom.any other places. However, that is what we wanted! Also, there are stairs, and for some, taking bags up may be difficult.

Aylworth Manor is the real deal if you are looking for a quintessential stay at an old English Estate in the country with rolling pastures, stables, beautiful gardens, and an amazing multistory country house. The breakfast was a delicious and healthy selection of locally sourced items like eggs, yogurt, fruit, sausage, etc. I loved waking up and looking out over the pasture and seeing the horses grazing on the hill. Spent as much time as possible just wandering around and enjoying the property between our trips to various locations in the Cotswolds. What a great stay.

There was nothing about the property that I didn't like except perhaps there was only a bathtub and no shower.

The hosts Jo and Johnny were very friendly and helpful with their advice and recommendations. They really went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I were comfortable and our needs met. Lodgings were great - the spacious manor with its lovely gardens was very well kept, clean, comfy and above expectations. Having breakfast in the tastefully designed ornate dining room was an experience in itself. The food was scrumptious, setting us off on the right foot for a day of exploring the beautiful sights of the Cotswold.

Nothing in particular. Totally enjoyed our short stay at the manor.

Secluded and quiet, but within easy reach to the tourist towns. Johnny and Jo were excellent hosts, and fun to get to know. Beautiful house, well maintained. Excellent breakfasts.

It wasn't immediately obvious from the Booking.com site that we would have to be out of the house between 10:30 and 4. On this occasion, that wasn't an issue for us, but it would have been a factor on other trips we've taken.

Location was perfect - a modestly sized bed and breakfast alone in the country, far away from the hubbub of people and traffic yet central to the numerous towns that populate the Cotswolds. The manor was precisely what I was hoping for - a quaint, gently aged-looking place on the outside while clean, tidy, and charming within. And the landscaping was wonderful - healthy, richly varied flowering plants and shrubs. The breakfast was a delight - a full serving board with eggs very well made to order, all with personal wait service.

Nothing

Meticulously maintained household and property. The hosts, John and Jo, were a very down to earth and welcoming couple who didn’t hesitate to assist in any way possible. The epitome of the perfect hosts that suited their household to a tee. The full English breakfast spread accompanied with granola and fresh berries as well as homemade croissants were delectable.

Not a thing.

A beautiful setting in a very rural location with a very warm welcome from Jo and Johnny. Was given tea and cake upon arrival with a company of their two friendly labradors. A very relaxing early evening outside. The room was absolutely marvellous, very roomy and comfortable. A separate bathroom for my use was very nice which has both a bath and shower. Quite a comfortable night but it was during the exceptionally hot weather! Breakfast was very good with locally sourced food.

Could have provided more choice of cereals

The tranquil gardens provide the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll, while the surrounding countryside and charming villages are perfect for sunny day walks. Truly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for an English countryside experience.

Jo and Johnny, thank you both for welcoming us into your home and providing such a comfortable stay, we enjoyed every minute! for potential bookers and viewers of this feedback… Aylworth Manor is your quintessential high society Codswolds country estate. You’re welcomed and greeted at the door every time you come and go like you’re family, the rooms are large and super comfortable, the views are textbook Codswolds, breakfast is exactly what one needs for a beautiful day ahead, the walks in the surrounding countryside are a perfect way to soak up everything nature has to offer, and the estate itself is simply lovely. It was a bonus that the Manor is tucked away from everything and yet only 10-30 mins drive to most of the must-see places and public transport.

Jo and Jonathan's home is warm, calm and quite simply beautiful. The minute you walk through the door, I was greeted with a cup of tea and a sophisticated chat. My visit was short notice and involved heavy snow conditions - which both Jo and Jonathan helped with navigating my trips out and offered great recommendations for pub dinners. Their home is kept to high standards, and my room felt elegant and had some great personal touches - such as robes, high-quality bedding, and much more- but I won't ruin all the surprises! It was a challenge leaving the cosy sheets in the mornings. However, the delightful breakfast served on beautiful fine bone china made it all the easier. Five stars from me! I want to thank you for my special few days in the Cotswolds. I can not wait to come back and catch up!
