It was a beautiful room, much larger than we expected. The bed was really comfortable and the room had lovely complimentary toiletries. Plenty of parking nearby. The breakfast was great, good selection of choices and pretty quick. We ate dinner in the pub twice too, the food was great and nice options.
Housekeeping was a little hit and miss. One day the bed wasn't made, another day dirty cups were left in the sink. Sometimes there was extra bottles of water left, sometimes not. It wouldn't put us off going back though, it's a great hotel and we'd return again in future.

The hotel bedrooms are simply gorgeous! Beds super comfy and rooms exceptionally clean. The housekeeping team here are excellent. Staff very professional and friendly. Food excellent. Bar very warm, cosy and inviting! We had a cosy double, deluxe double, King Deluxe x 2 and ALL rooms were very very nice indeed and the soft furnishing in the rooms and hotel in general (in the bar and restaurant) were all very tasteful and we just loved being there. 100% we would return to this hotel. Our 2 night experience was just so enjoyable!
I would have loved to enjoy the outdoors but the weather in January does not allow but I shall return so I can enjoy this hotel in good weather. My only suggestion would be to add natural yoghurt and berries to the breakfast buffet.

Lovely location and beautiful old building. Staff welcoming but they got our breakfast order mixed up with someone else, which was a bit embarrassing as we got their food ! However food and ambience is lovely so would not put us off staying again.
We had a room in the main building which was super but not very sound proof and people in the room above us literally talked all night long till about 4 in the morning. Could hear every word! No one in reception to call to ask them to shut up and nobody on the out of hours number either. Lots of weddings here, so if you want peace and quiet then get a room in the annexe/ outbuildings. Would stay again though as really nice hotel.

The Frogmill was so accommodating with our booking at such short notice. Sarah and Holly both managed to arrange for our dog to be in the room even though booking.com hadn’t specified we had to book a particular room for dogs. The food was delicious, they even managed to play the rugby World Cup for us even though they weren’t showing it that night and rearrange our table tap we could watch it. The whole place is a beautiful old property with lovely grounds to walk around and sit and relax. Will definitely be back!
The twin beds were very very small!

We stayed in a room separate to the hotel, it was a lovely cosy room. The location was quiet and there was lovely walks to walk in the surrounding area. The bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely coffee machine in the room.
The hotel bar shut early each night, there was no themed activities during our stay, only a festive menu. There was a lovely outside area which had a pizza van (which wasn't open) that was a shame, if they had a covered outside area with heaters, they could have had more festive activities ( Blankets, heaters, food and mulled wine for example). My daughter had been in September and the staff had suggested that the open space would be used over the christmas period, which when we asked, they said that they had never had any plans. We specifically came during the festive period, as we thought the hotel was 'all in at Christmas' - a bit disappointing, but doesn't detract from a very nice hotel and what was a lovely stay.

Eventhough we travelled from London throughout the heavy rain and long traffic, as soon as we arrived at Frogmill the atmosphere was what we wanted, calming, relaxing and cosy. The receptionist was really friendly and showed us the room, which was stunning! It was a massive room decorated with such a great taste and attention to the details. Absolutely, amaizing! It was a present for my husband's birthday and he was left so impressed that we might return for a weekend there,he is not a person to be pleased easily.
Because it rained all night the room leaked a bit but luckily not over our heads.

Very comfy bed and nice room up in an attic room. The whole building and setting is beautiful and very charming. Friendly staff. The location was ideal for us for a nearby wedding.
We stayed 2 nights so we could enjoy a walk on the Sunday. It was a very rainy day and when we returned there was no room at all to sit in the bars as all the tables were dedicated to Sunday lunches. If you do decide to go for a walk, do not rely on the paper copies of the walk information - not good at all.

Lovely cosy bedroom with comfy bed and nice bed linen and pillows. Good selection of tea & coffee in the room, with homemade cookies...a very nice gesture. Plenty of plug sockets,in the right places!!!Toiletries in the bathroom by Bramley a good choice.Staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. Evening meal excellent. We did not have breakfast, as we were going to a breakfast meeting elsewhere.
Nothing!!!!

I thought the staff were very helpful and made you feel welcome. This was especially true of the young waitress in the restaurant when I had dinner. She took the time to explain the menu and highlighted some that she enjoyed. I had left my glasses in my room so could not read the menu. She had only been working there for a couple of weeks, having moved over from Stow in the Wold working at a sister company, The Porch House. The food was very good and not too big a portion for my liking. The rooms were clean and well arranged. As to the location, it was well positioned for visiting most places but quiet, and there was ample car parking. I have to give a big shout out to Robin Shuchburgh from the Cotswold Explorer for pointing this place out in his YouTube video "The history of Shipton Oliffe and Shipton Sollars".
Nothing that comes to mind.

A really beautiful hotel with lots to offer. Unwind outside in the beautiful gardens or find a cozy spot in the bar. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and always around to help. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others.
The mattress in the room needed replacing, it was comfortable still but not exactly the standard one would expect. For one night it was fine. A bottle of water in the room would have been a nice touch.
