Absolutely lovely staff. They were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The unit we stayed in was clean and very tidy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. We had a small space outside to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. The main reason for booking was that they were very dog friendly, which was a major factor in booking this place. Taking the dog to the beach was very easy and just a few minutes walk. We are looking forward to booking again soon.

Nothing we didn't like, just feel it would be a bit better if there was an evening meal option or a small microwave in the room. A small fridge would be helpful for people like me, I have diabetes and need to keep my insulin cold.

A lovely little place, the room was spotless with a lovely outlook across a field. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Didn't make breakfast, but we both ate lunch in the conservatory on arrival which was very nice. Lovely enclosed garden where we were able to enjoy drinks in the sunshine Although we didn't bring our dogs on this occasion, the hotel was extremely dog friendly, and we met some lovely well behaved pups 😊

Nothing to fault with the place, although it was a little further out from everything than I realised when booking - my own fault. Fortunately the weather was kind, so the walk was no great hardship

The room was perfect size for what we needed. It was clean and well presented. It was so warm and cosy. The staff were super helpful. Went out of their way to make sure you had what you needed. The little folder in the room and tea/coffee etc was great! The breakfast was so lovely! Highly recommend that!

I honestly cannot fault it. My only difficulty was I have a daughter with special needs who requires me to shower her. It was very tight to get two grown people in the shower and I don’t think there is a room with a disabled walk in shower. That would be my only added note. However we managed, we loved our stay and would definitely visit again and encourage other people to as well.

During our short two-night stay at the Old Rectory in Brean, my wife, two children, and I were enchanted by the idyllic property and its beautiful gardens. The accommodation was comfortable, and the incredibly friendly staff made us feel at home. The superb breakfast each morning was the perfect start to our days.

Our two-night stay at the Old Rectory in Brean was lovely, though a bit tight for the four of us. The accommodation was comfortable, functional and served as an ideal base for a couple of days. However, staying for a week with the family might be challenging due to the limited space.

Let's start with the food. Breakfast was fab, so good that we returned for lunch. And the garden was beautiful. And I did not have to helicopter my youngest when wondering by the pond as it was fully safe from climbing with a netted rope covering it. Woohoo! The children's park was lovely too. The room was cute and a lovely layout (my children were not fighting to be closest to my bed as all the beds were close to ours:)). The facilities you managed to fit in were great (small fridge/freezer that was quiet!!!!!). It would have been great to watch netflix but a good film was on so TV, so I really didn't mind. Thank you. We would return next year:)

Nothing, to be honest. But, I'd recommend you have maybe one more hot vegetarian child's option on the menu. Falafel is not something my children would try, sadly.

We were quite surprised to find this little gem along the coastline of Brean - the pictures don't do it justice. Parking is right near the accommodation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked in just in time for a meal, which we ate in the lovely garden. We were upgraded to a superior room which had a fridge and a fan which was very welcome during the heatwave! The chalets are in small blocks and there's a table & chairs outside each chalet - ours overlooked the countryside. We had a walk to the beach which wasn't too far. The cooked breakfast was delicious and nice and hot, plus there was a nice selection of cereals, toast, juices etc. We would definitely stay at the Old Rectory again and can highly recommend it, especially if you have a dog as they cater for them brilliantly.

We liked everything. It would have been a bonus if they served evening meals.

Excellent place to stay. Staff were polite and friendly. The accommodation was clean and well presented. Breakfast was excellent, probably one of the best cooked breakfasts I have had for a long time and enjoyed outside in the garden un the sunshine. Very happy to let our dog stay. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the beach with local amenities close by. Fully recommend a stay here if in the area.

Had to vacate by 10am and was looking for a later check out at 11am, however I was able to sit in the garden and work from there.

This is a nice little find in Brean. The location is great - a 5 minute walk to the beach, and just off a quiet-ish road. Plenty of parking, and the building looks attractive, especially the restaurant area. The room was small but clean, and it had all the basics that you'd need for a few days stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. It you don't fancy staying in a holiday home on a caravan site, this is a great alternative.

Nothing.

The rooms are very nice and clean and are tended to on a daily basis. They are also dog friendly which is very important to us. They have a stretch of grass that my dog could frolic in and he made a new friend in doing so. The breakfast is amazing and sets you up for the day. There was a fridge in our room which was really good as I drink a lot of water and prefer it ice cold.

There are no hooks in the room, apart from the bathroom door, so I think it would be a great idea to add those so you can hang your bags and jackets on it. There is a wardrobe but there are not many hangers so we tend to live out of the suitcase.
