The property was situated at the quieter end of the beach close to Anchorhead & Prince Consort Gardens & only a 10 -15 min walk to the Grand Pier. It had a lovely residents lounge & terrace on the 2nd floor which was really lovely & overlooked the sea. Our room was a family room for 3 with a double bed & single, it was comfortable & clean. The bathroom was good & had a power shower. The staff were friendly & helpful. We paid £7.50 each for breakfast which was a hot buffet, toast & choice of cereals served with a pot of tea or coffee so pretty good value. We would stay here again

Location and Sea View was excellent with balcony to sit outside and watch the world go by. So relaxing, and a short walk from the beach and town centre. Friendly staff who greeted us always with a smile.

The council of Weston super mare need to promote tourism more as we found the tourist information office was closed and absolutely no leaflets or details of anything about the area. Thanks to bus drivers at the local bus station and other members of the public we got some advice. The council also need to tackle the litter in the town centre as it's disgraceful. Could be a lovely seaside town if it was collected regularly.

The hotel is right by the seaside and the shops so it's perfect for a break. The receptionist Sia was most welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and the power shower was superb!

The room I got faced a row of houses and they could see right into my room and there were no blinds so there was no privacy at all unless I wanted to close the curtains which is rubbish when the sun is out. Some guests returned really late and stomped past my room waking me up which wasn't appreciated but that's other humans for you. It's still a great place to stay though.

This is exactly what I expected of a cheap & cheerful seafront hotel in Weston Super Mare. It's well located but out of the way enough it's not noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a very small amount of parking at the front if you time your visit well! One of the rooms we booked was upgraded for free which was a nice bonus. The rooms were basic but well kept. The beds were clean and good enough for sleeping but not the most comfortable mattresses. Views of the sea were pleasant but I wouldn't consider paying extra for them.

Nothing bad to say about the stay.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, as we were meeting up with friends. The location was great, just where we needed to be. Being able to see for myself, whether all the reviews were accurate or not… my advice for travellers is , if you want the luxury of a Hilton hotel, go and pay Hilton prices. The New Birchfield hotel, is a budget friendly hotel right on the seafront in Weston super Mare, and it has free parking , the spaces are limited , however there are other free on the road parking spaces available on nearby streets. Towels and bedding were all good quality.

Bedroom 204 is a small double room, however it was on the ground floor which suited us just fine.

The hotel is in a wonderful quiet location, close to the promenade, bus route number 1, and very easy to walk into the main shopping area. I loved the roof terrace overlooking the marina. It is stunning. My room was quiet, clean and the bed was so comfortable - it was a great night's sleep. This hotel is excellent value for money and in a perfect location to walk to the old pier and the marine pool area. I loved my stay here and will definitely be back!

Although the room was small, which I was expecting for the price and it being a single room, it was a shame that there was a wardrobe in front of the bay window, so it was impossible to open the window. Perhaps putting a chest of drawers there instead, or a half width wardrobe, would give the room more light and the possibility of being able to open the window.

Location and room with sea view and balcony far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast first class with dining room providing excellent sea view. Room small but plenty storage and excellent shower. Off street parking a massive bonus. We will definitely be returning. Superb find.

To be honest liked everything. We did not use bar so not be fair to comment.

Booked this at very short notice and was really pleasantly surprised. I went for a single room with toilet and shower and the room was very good, very comfortable and ticked all the boxes. Towels and shower gel, etc were all laid out the bed upon my arrival. Had good tea and coffee facilities, small but adequate remote operated TV, plenty of clothes storage and the shower had excellent pressure. Check in and out was very swift and the location was brilliant. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on this.

Parking was a bit sparse but drove just down the road and found somewhere safe to leave overnight, and this wasn't an NCP or other parking facility.

Loved the breakfast and to see the beach whilst I ate,staff were amazing. Hotel was lovely and clean and great value for money.

A couple of guests were a little noisy and let the staff the know ,they were so kind to enough to give me another room which overlooked the beach.

The manager was very polite,did everything to make our stay enjoyable.The facilities in the hotel were lovely,the room was spotless and comfortable.Finally the views fron the veranda were amazing.The breakfast was very enjoyable.

We could not find any faults at all with the premises or the staff.
