- Quiet location, nice and relaxing - Big, comfortable bed - Delicious, beautiful and fresh breakfast, we couldn't praise it enough and it was a lovely touch to have a fresh juice waiting for you in the morning and fresh fruit, seemed like the owners do home made jams as well which is a great - The owners were very friendly and omg did we have a laugh :) - Great stay overall and the breakfast somewhat made it up for limited heating, thank you Moira and Mike I hope we got your names right :)

2 things: - 1) Shower pressure was not the best, it took a while to wash properly - 2) Friday night we were freezing as the heating was only set up for certain hours, in the middle of the night we had to use extra blankets which were in the room, but in the morning it seemed like I had a little bit of a sore throat - Mentioned this to the owner and he said they only put it on for selected hours as it is expensive and after asking if they had a heater they said no - It was a shame as it made us almost leave in the morning although booking two nights, we did buy our own heater :( - We do understand the cost of living increased now but after paying for the stay for 2 nights it is the last thing you want to hear as a paying guest

Great location host very helpful I have a few medical issues and they made sure everything was OK with me breakfast was excellent 👌 😊 told us about the area made you so welcome just a lovely place to stay 😊 great for walking so many different walks and if you just want to take it easy cheddar is a place we went lovely shops and caves you do t have to go in caves you can just have lunch and buy cheese, cider all locally sauced just so much to do and see 😊

Michael and Mora were wonderful hosts, very attentative. The breakfast was wonderful, full English, plus cereals, toast and fruit. We were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. A nice quiet area to stay, with parking at the rear. Walks to the local woods nearby. Short drive to recommended pubs for meals. All in all we would certainly recommend and return in the future.

We enjoyed every aspect. No complaints at all.

We both loved the location and the fact that we had parking, once parked up we walked or used public transport. The bus was regular and stopped right outside the guest house. Maura and Michael were perfect host's and very welcoming, they served a wonderful breakfast in a lovely breakfast room. Our room was warm and cosy with a view out towards the coast. Can highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse.

The Owls Crest is in a lovely location, parking was appreciated. Our room was lovely and peaceful. The hosts particularly attentive to any needs requested. The bed was really comfortable. Plenty of coffee and tea supplied. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Thank you for a lovely break.

Maybe a black out curtain but that is not a criticism, more an observation

Maura and Michael are a fantastic couple and the owls crest is a beautiful extension of their personalities. Could not wish for a better place to stay. The breakfast has everything even the most picky eater could not find faulty with and they are happy to do what ever it is you wish. Always greeted with a smile and updated on local events. Easy access by bus into Weston super mare stops right outside. Spotless throughout and comfortable (I get the best nights sleep ever here). This is my second visit and will not be my last.

Nothing not to like

The friendliness and local knowledge of the hosts made for a very enjoyable stay. Michael and Maura couldn't do more to make the stay as welcoming and enjoyable as possible. Their knowledge of local attractions, restaurants and drinks made for a very enjoyable stay.

The breakfast (between 8am-9am) was a great start to the day. The BnB has a real homely feel to it with a garden and lounge area. I also liked the location as it was close to sand bay beach and a short walk from a local shop and bus stop.

The hosts were charming, interesting and an absolute pleasure to be around. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh juice, fresh fruit, ground coffee, full cooked breakfast, thick bacon cooked perfectly, fresh cut and gluten free bread as requested. Heard the owls calling to each other outside when I returned at night. would have stayed longer if I could.

I booked twin room, as originally booked for my father and I, but he was unable to make it. Long time since I’ve slept in a single bed, so difficult for me to adjust, would pick a double bed next time.
