It was an outstanding accommodation. Room was beautiful, clean, huge bed. The whole hotel, rooms, restaurant and outdoor area are very stylish, every single detail is well thought of, the nautical theme is running across the whole accommodation and restaurant. We could have stayed forever in there, so cosy and relaxing. Our room was cleaned and very beautifully decorated, we had a bath, tea and coffee, minibar, TV, enormous bed. The owner and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, we also had few evening meals, and it was a perfection. Parking is big.

In such a beautiful location just over the road from the beach. Room clean and comfortable. The restaurant is beautifully furnished like a sea shack. The breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients was delicious and the staff were really friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay there again.

Booking email confirmed Check In ended at 9 pm. I was delayed due to car breakdown. Sent a message only to discover when I checked back that the email / messaging via booking.com does not work. Arrived at 11 pm with hotel in darkness and could not find any staff. Phone calls were not picked up. I could hear the phone ringing out in Reception. Eventually managed to resolve & hotel v apologetic, but very concerned there for a while that I would not have a bed for the night.

When reading the reviews before we came we couldn't understand why some was so good and others won't. Now we know after our visit. It as LL depends what staff is on. One of the little older local cleaners were so nice Tue and wed , she asked if we needed anything extra above the norm. And each day she refilled the tea and coffee and milks with fresh towels and cleaned the cups and glasses . As we do pay the same each night so I do expect it cleaned every day as it was our first day. Nice to have a fridge in the room with bottle of water . Plus a fan in our room. Also the breakfast was nice . But again depends who was on. Mon and Thurs morning everything was good. .But certain tue morning when asked for poached egg on toast and asked for white bread, he said get your own from the toaster it will come out just two eggs. Certainly not impressed with him. Had to find him to order our breakfast as it was . Then after the teapot was left , we had to find our own cups and milk. Wed was the same with same man , but there was another chap behind the bar, and he was very helpful and got the well built chap to fetch things that he could could get. . But nice options on the menu. But pricey Shout out to the blonde young lady and young dark hair chap sat at the front desk late wed night. Who we had a nice chat with about people leaving their blinds open who was looking out to the sea ... (Haha) Also the tall dark hair cleaner who was there Tue wed morning. So helpful she was.

No unbreakables out the front as it was 26-29 so but if shade was needed there. Also on the stairs behind the stairs doors which were pinned back , I thought it was bit dark behind the door. .I touched and pull down on the top of the carpet , it came to it that it was think dirt and dust behind the stairs doors . The pile was about 2-3 inches tall of dirt and dust behind each door. I didn't think it would stay there long as any staff would have noticed the two piles and been ashamed of it, so it was removed that day. . Also under the glass at the dresser had tea stains under it. So I just lifted it and cleaned it the day we got there. But things were cleaned depends who was on duty.

Clean, nice view, friendly and smiley staff and a well presented bar and restaurant area. Not much not to like tbh... A really nice breakfast for me too, so I would be very happy to come again.

Uhhhh ... The price between booking online was pretty dramatic. I accidentally booked the wrong day and paid as much for the day I missed as I could have paid for the entire weekend tbh. 140 quid is very expensive for one night and I could have got a 4 star hotel a few beers and a meal for that so I wasn't very keen on forking out that amount of money for a room I didn't use. It would have been nice of them to give me the online price instead of ripping me off to the tune of the full price, so for that reason they don't get top marks

Free car park The bedroom is modern, clean and comfortable. Inside the wardrobe was a fridge and a safe. The shower is powerful. Staff very friendly and helpful NO creaking floorboards. The breakfast was freshly cooked and hot, very tasty, and good quality produce . The bus stop is a few minutes walk.

Service charge added on my food bill without my knowledge. I thought that I was overcharged, when I queried it, I was informed it was a service charge. I was offered it back, I was put on the spot and felt uncomfortable about it, so I left it. I don't think it's acceptable to be charged a service charge. If people want to leave a tip it should be down to their own discretion.

The staff were super friendly, evening meal & breakfast were both excellent, really nice feel inside the hotel it feels homely, lovely view of the sea and a nice beach walk if you want. Free parking is also a rare find at hotels these days! Shower was decent, underfloor heating in the bathroom was lush, little fridge in the room was useful.

The bed was really uncomfy, maybe i just got unlucky, i could feel the springs, so it took me a while to get to sleep - and not the hotels fault but the walls are thin and other guests don't seem to have consideration for anyone else, so from 6am i could hear doors slamming constantly with various guests in and out of rooms, then the door on the corridor, and then back again - Totally not the hotels fault but it was so frustrating banging in and out. Its pretty remote, so if you want anything make sure you take it with you.

Staff were very polite and happy to assist Dinning Room was very pleasant and complementary drink on arrival was very appreciated Not too busy and well placed out of the main town, so was nice, and added to a peaceful stay overnight Lovely view from the bedroom across the bay (see pics) - Shame it was not a sunny day (at least it didn't rain during our stay)

Forgot to mention to staff there was no stirring utensils with the coffee/tea making facility in the room (I had to improvise) Please note, as explained above this is a beautiful little hotel, that is away from the main town, so the roads can be a bit of a challenge if you are walking at night (We took a taxi back in the evening)

The location was perfect. Check in easy. Room on the small side given the size of the bed, but fine. Staff were friendly; helpful, supportive, and kind, especially at breakfast time. Leah was a hit with my youngest grandchild. Thank you :) Breakfast facilities were great. Food lovely in the restaurant, a little overpriced but lovely. Wines and bar good value for money Staff made our stay, to be honest.

Spring-loaded fires doors to our bedrooms were a real negative. They are not user-friendly and hard to open and close. My elderly mother struggled terribly to enter and leave her room independently, which was impacted on our overall stay. Our tea facilities and toiletries were not replenished daily, even though the bins were emptied, nor used cups exchanged. We had to ask for toilet roll and additional soap. I don't think, given what a lovely hotel this is, that we should have had to ask for the basics.

After a long journey, to be met by a very friendly receptionist was excellent. Improved by the offer of a much needed complementary drink in the restaurant. Check in was great and we were escorted to a vert bright, comfortable and quiet room with views over the channel to Cardiff. A few steps to a quiet, long, sandy beach on the coastal path was just what we needed to stretch. Supper was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. We could watch the tide race in from our room. The bathroom was heated from below and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Breakfast was lovely and filled us up for the day.

We liked every aspect of our stay.

Lovely room, good size with everything we needed. The fridge was great to keep drinks cool in the hot weather and there was also a fan which was great. The bed was comfortable although it was 2 single beds pushed together which was noticeable. The view from the room was beautiful and sand bay beach was opposite so was perfect. The breakfast was delicious with good choice and staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking available also and only a short drive into Weston-Super-Mare

The shower was small but ok. Overall it was clean but there was some dust in the lampshades and in the wardrobe. We had 2 single beds pushed together which was a bit uncomfortable if you lay between the two, as one was slightly lower than the other.
