It was an outstanding accommodation. Room was beautiful, clean, huge bed. The whole hotel, rooms, restaurant and outdoor area are very stylish, every single detail is well thought of, the nautical theme is running across the whole accommodation and restaurant. We could have stayed forever in there, so cosy and relaxing. Our room was cleaned and very beautifully decorated, we had a bath, tea and coffee, minibar, TV, enormous bed. The owner and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, we also had few evening meals, and it was a perfection. Parking is big.

Staff friendly enough, nice breakfast, location was good only 8 minutes in car to western super mare, there is a bus service but double check timetable as times are different from information given by hotel. Nice little walk along the coast by the hotel. It's good to know it's dog friendly, but we never took our pooch . The restaurant was nice, not badly priced . Nice little modern hotel, nice outdoor seating area, and the weather was exceptional 👌

The room we were in was noisy, the room above sounded like a herd of elephants, started at 7.30 a.m., and when we were going to sleep at 11 pm we ended up banging on the ceiling. Could hear noises from outside and in the corridor. But apart from that the hotel was nice .

Staff across all facilities were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. The restaurant was beautiful and the food at Rocksalt was one of the best evening meals we have ever had. We have stayed at this hotel for years, from when it was the Commodore and it was absolutely unrecognisable. The updated decor was lovely, the room and hotel felt newly done-up and very clean. We felt very comfortable. With a minibar, a smart TV with Netflix etc, large double walk in shower, comfy beds, plenty of plug sockets & usb ports, a kettle etc, and a sea view ; we had a perfect stay and cannot wait to return. Great that the checkout was 11 not 10 and that breakfast was included and really lush again. Staff were easygoing and we were so relaxed. I highly recommend this hotel for the location, the beach across the road, a few cafes and shops nearby, the woodland to the left, Weston around the corner and a short walk to the bus stop. Watching the sunset on the beach either from our window or on the beach was very romantic. The outdoor part of the restaurant was a bonus too. Endless cocktails and gorgeous food available. Minibar wasn't overpriced either. Easy and free full-time parking.

Went with my partner and 2 kids we booked 2 room one twin room other a double but I had to sleep with my girls room as they to young to be alone it was like big brother watching you camera everywhere even when at the bar ordering drinks you can see all corridors etc on screen so helpful if my kids go walkabouts .Nice choice of breakfast and evening meals service was excellent just make sure your back in hotel for 9pm to lock doors but bonus was the beach facing you if you have sea view room my partner was lucky to have that view 😀 oh and plenty of parking space. 😀

Just tiny criticism my partner bed springs on mattress was bumpy and I put my hands on it not comfortable at all may need to upgrade after all we all need a good night sleep right?

Everything about this hotel was amazing, we arrived late and the reception staff waited for us with a warm welcome. The room number 20 in a small block outside the main block was clean, large comfortable and looked to be freshly decorated. A tea and coffee tray was waiting for us and fresh milk was kept in the fridge which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was perfectly cooked, i had the English cooked and my partner had the haddock and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce (needed to be on a larger plate than a bowl, just advise really). Staff were so attentive too Thank you, we will be back..

Bathroom in room 20 needs a bit of modernisation as some marks on doors and paint chipped off

We stayed in a Sea View Double Room. It was in a stunning location with beautiful views of the beach. We had an evening meal in the restaurant- Rock Salt - and it was beautiful. Couldn't falt it. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and plenty available when we went down at 8.30am. Plenty of free parking at the back of the hotel.

The bed was a little uncomfortable for myself. However, it was perfectly fine for the one night we were there. There is no lift, so if you suffer from mobility issues, you will need to bear in mind that you have to climb two-three flights of stairs to get to the room if you are allocated the top floor (like we were). But it's worth it for the view! We couldn't open the wardrobe as it caught on the telephone line, but it wasn't a bother as we were only there for one night, but it might be an issue if there for multiple nights.

Beautiful clean, very welcoming entrance reception area, polite and friendly staff. Check in very easy, shown straight to our room. Very tidy and clean. We went for a meal in Rocksalt restaurant. We had a very delicious roast and desert. Staff all very attentive and polite. We enjoyed our stay, best nights sleep I've had in a long time. The breakfast was beautiful. So full after our stay.

Unfortunately as much as I did like it there were a couple of things. Our room had an unpleasant smell, the window had been opened wide prior to our arrival, We were above the kitchen looking over the roof vents. Bit disappointed that The Bay restaurant was shut especially as the hotel was fully booked 😕

Location, easy accessible transport into weston , local fish and chip shop/beverage cake shop. Great for walks along the beach and benches to take a break, lovely and peaceful. Hotel a little gem, clean and neat ,staff vey helpful and cheerful , room lovely and lovely view , paperwork in the room with information regarding times of the buses to where you want to go and important information regarding any emergences Evening meal great and breakfast, Great on arrival complimentary drink and new tv in the room. night time great to see the view of lights and lighthouse light across the bay. Coffee tea in your room and fab idea of bottle of milk in fridge instead of cartons . also little goods you could purchase if you fancied nibbles ,shower items to use.

First time away in over 4 years, safe to say anxiety had well and truly been prominent. Parking was easy, the staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean and well presented. We ate dinner at Rocksalt, throughly enjoyed our food! Seated in the terraced dining, after food we took a 30s walk to Sandbay to watch the sunset. The next morning breakfast was table service, lovely choices food looked fantastic and I wasn't disappointed with the pancakes! Checking out was easy and still the staff were really friendly. Can't wait to come back.

There was a little maintenance to the bathroom door needed doing, and where our room was those stair became quite noisy with heavy footed people. Not a fault of the hotel, I just think others need to mindful of those in nearby rooms.

A lovely boutique hotel right by the beach and only 10 minutes from Weston Super Mare. Although, personally, I’d give WSM a swerve. We thought it was a bit scruffy and in need of an overhaul. It reminded us of Clacton. The hotel is decorated in a New England style with a nice bar, outside terrace and lovely restaurant. We had a very nice meal there but if you fancy venturing out, there’s a fish and chip shop a 10 minute walk away. Our room was lovely, with a sea view and nice Elemis toiletries. Thoroughly recommend

It has rooms on different levels up small passages, so it’s not the easiest place to get luggage to your room. Not a problem for us but could be for people with mobility issues
