The Lodge is made up of a number of themed rooms. It is not a b&b but a hostless place, however if that is not important to you then this is a fabulous place to stay. We were in the Pheasant room which was simple but really nice. It was very, very clean throughout with a comfortable bed and sofa, standard wardrobe space and a storage container for extra bits. The bathroom has a shower and there was a great selection of tea/coffee facilities. It is ideally situated straight off Broadway High Street, which is just the most amazing and quaint place.

Location to high street good. The room was clean and tidy.Comfy double bed.Good decor, ideal for a two or three night break. The family room was better than I expected. The two single beds were almost like they were in their own room. The kitchen had large fridge, washing machine. There was also a dining table which was ideal to have breakfast before going out for the day or to do a sandwich.
Parking in Back Lane is tight but that could be to do with renovations being carried out in other buildings .After parking i then found it difficult to find the building that I was staying in due to the building work.Once I had found property it was easy.We stayed over the weekend so no builders about and it was very quiet.

There was not a manned reception but instructions were clear on how to access the property. When I had to phone/contact anyone the response was immediate. The rooms were immaculate! Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. It all looked like a new build. The showers were brilliant! Very powerful. The lighting was brilliant. Plenty of overhead lighting which I have found lacking in many other hotels I have stayed in. Rooms were bright and airy. Super comfy bed. 4 pillows on the bed and I was able to choose the one that suited me best Fridges in the rooms with milk and water in them. Radios in the rooms were a nice feature too. If you can't manage a staircase it's not for you as all accommodation is up a flight of stairs. Parking space was limited due to building work being carried out so we had to use the car park of an adjoining hotel. This had already been arranged by The Lodge. There was plenty of spaces and some electric charge points which we needed. That hotel charged £6 per hour for charging usage. Not sure if this is expensive as it's the first time we've had to charge the car away from home. I would definitely stay here again.
It was very hot the night we were there. There is no air con but very efficient fans were provided. Many hotels do not have air con but it would be a lovely feature to have had. In my room, named Hare, the plug pount was not next to the mirror. My hair dryer has a long cable so it was not a problem but it could be for someone else. The night I stayed it was very hot and the duvet on the bed was winter weight. There was a light weight throw on the bed which could be used instead but it would have been too small if two people were staying. None of these points spoiled my stay and would prevent me staying again.

Great location, very nice people, lovely tea and coffee selection in the room and great to have a little fridge. Everything was clean. It was nice and easy to get into the room once we'd figured out the parking. Definitely hope to stay again!
It would be very nice to have a 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Don't need the room cleaned' sign (I'm disabled and unfortunately need to rest during the day). I know this isn't a problem for everyone (and I didn't have the energy to ask if there was an alternative), but down duvet and pillows were hard on my allergies. I'll remember to bring my own pillow next time!

The location of The Lodge at Broadway is perfect for exploring Broadway and the surrounding areas. We stayed in the Pheasant room which fully met our needs. The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities (complete with mini fridge and fresh milk!). The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was great with a nice shower unit in the bath. The Lodge is literally steps away from the High Street and many cafes, restaurants and shops. We can highly recommend breakfast at No.32. The staff were great and the kitchen dealt well with food allergies. We also greatly enjoyed our dinner at The Broadway Hotel.
There was a temporary problem with the wifi so we couldn't connect but that wasn't an issue for us. We had phone signal in the room. The room was little warm but this was easily remedied by opening the window (just felt a shame to have the heating on and the window open). I'd rather be too warm in winter than too cold and it's difficult to please every body temperature!

Everything that one might have needed for a short stay away in a home-from-home was there, even down to a short flask of real milk, for a welcoming mug of tea on arrival. These small ‘touches’ made for a pleasant sojourn.
The parking! If I had been told about the ‘difficulties’ with parking before paying (£5 off if taking the ‘no cancellation option), I wouldn’t have booked. Equally, being unable to connect to wi-fi at anytime was an extreme inconvenience (work reasons). It wasn’t that there was insufficient broadband sharing capability with the café next door, as I was told (very pleasantly, I might add over the phone, when I called the ‘helpline’) and to “try again later”, the password (input on multiple devices), was simply not the one quoted on signage.

The property was in a perfect location & easy to find. Our room was quiet, warm & extremely comfortable. The shower/bathroom was spotlessly clean with white fluffy towels. The decor was delightful & plenty of tea, coffee & hot chocolate on offer with fresh milk in the fridge. A winner! We had plenty of info on a regular basis on how to enter the property.
We loathed the lack of parking. There is no chance of getting a designated Lodge space.

Location
Nothing to dislike but would not consider it a luxury boutique hotel. No additional touches to be considered luxury e .g. bathrobes/biscuits/sweets etc that would normally bring things up to luxury level. Also obviously had been a leak in the bathroom as the floor was coming up and bath panel was not secured. Basically good clean place but not luxury

Our room was spacious and very clean. Brilliant location, short walk from shops and pubs. The recommended cafe did a great breakfast. We were a bit worried about parking from the instructions, but it was no problem at all.
Discovered on arrival there was no shower screen which was disappointing, but the lady was very nice and explained she was waiting on a new one. We were a bit puzzled why there was only one chair in the room instead of two

The "apartment" was spacious and perfect for our family of four. Clean, it looked like everything was new. Nice to have a washer/dryer.
We wouldn't have gotten into the building if it weren't for some people already staying there. Check-in was frustrating, and when I tried to call the host, there was no answer. I left a voice message, and there was never a reply. The apartment was unlocked, so we were able to get in eventually. While the appliances were new, the laundry in the washer hadn't been dried. There were no instructions on how to use the washer/dryer combo. It was trial and error.
