There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this Bed & Breakfast is. The rooms are lovely and the best incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the host one of the best we have ever witnessed. There is even a room with a bar stocked for guests to enjoy and entertain and feel at home. The garden outside is so peaceful. You fall in love with this place immediately. Every single person there from Zoe to darn I can’t remember everyone’s name. But the lady with the beautiful smile and long hair, to the young chef. Everyone was delightful.

Nothing bad to say. This place is perfect!

They were so accommodating, as I wanted to arrive before official check in, let me do this, use the room early, park the car, etc. Really helpful, friendly, welcoming staff. Delicious breakfast. A beautiful, relaxing stay, thoroughly enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone!! Oh, and I forgot to take the door code with me, and they seemed not to get annoyed (as I would) being phoned up at 10PM when I remembered and had to ask for it!!

There was nothing I didn't like!! It was all lovely - even to having a radio in the room, made it feel like home!

Really enjoyed staying in accommodation a little different to a main hotel. The rooms had retained the character of the building. Our host was fantastic and could not have been more welcoming. Rooms were well supplied and a there was a great little guest's honesty bar downstairs

It almost seems churlish as we had a wonderful stay. A desk or bigger dresser would have been useful in the room and smoked/modesty glass on the lower half of the bathroom window to avoid having to drop the blinds. Not sure if this is the same for all the rooms.

Decor 👌🏻 💓🥰 Staff friendliness; all very welcoming, well explained and straight forward Honesty box & brownies - there’s a homely and trusting feel to that. Nice touch Breakfast - quick and delicious Outdoor area and garden - pretty/cosy Comfortable beds which smelled clean and fresh Lovely shower Huge bath sheets

Couldn’t fill our kettle from the bathroom tap so had to do it using a glass Couldn’t see info about overflow parking on website? Loo seat was slightly off and slipped to the side when seated

Loved the quirkiness of the decor, and the character. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were very friendly, attentive and very accommodating. The shower was good. Good location. Overall a good stay.

We were in the stable block, but was very noisy, from other people getting in their rooms as the key was fiddly and noisy at 6am, weren't being considerate to others, but thats not the hotels fault. Could hear the water tank 'ticking' (best way to describe it) woke us up. the room was dark unless you opened the curtains but then you were in a goldfish bowl. Some of the decor and ornaments looking tired in places and the monkey lamp had a hole in it and cracking, toilet brush dirty.

Such a cute, clean, hygge vibed hotel! Our room was gorgeous with high ceilings, thought about decor and everything you needed- loved the addition of a proper teapot and ground coffee for the morning brew - Richard & Zoe were super welcoming, food was great! Richard’s knowledge of the area was super helpful! Such a friendly happy place (loves the homemade brownies and milk) left in the snug for our late arrival! Perfect stay would definitely like to return :) thank you Also the outside space is gorgeous, we didn’t get to use as flying visit! Lastly - Dog friendly so total winners in our book!

Nothing!

From the warm welcome to the easy check out. The room was lovely, very well put together with high quality items. The decor was lovely and we loved the hidden wardrobes. Breakfast was a very good size, tasty and filling. The honesty bar is also such a good idea and the fact that they kept extra milk in the fridge (those little packets of milk are never enough) for you help yourself. They have a cosy area outside which was just what you need after a long day travelling to just sit back and chill with a drink or 2 and a complimentary homemade brownie.

The first impression is 'this is lovely!' The decor and furnishings are delightful; everything that you could possibly want is provided; very comfortable bed (important!); smart bathroom; wonderful breakfast; and kind, friendly staff. I wished that my stay was for longer so that I could have enjoyed the stunning garden.

I cannot think of anything that was less than perfect.

Off street parking space was important to us and there were able to accommodate our request but beware if the B&B is full, six rooms, 3 parking spots - you may not be so lucky. Breakfast was delicious.

It is unclear that they only serve dinner on Fridays and it is Kebab Curry only. They seemed to be prepping for the Friday curry when we stayed on a Wednesday and the smell of curry up the staircase is very strong. Does not carry into the room though. Quite a strong smell in the morning coming to breakfast as well.

Fab breakfast, pretty garden, lovely big room exactly as per photo and comfy bed (low - to be aware of if you have access issues). Hair dryer, iron and mini ironing board provided in room. Small fridge in room. Quiet at night, no noticeable noise. Temperature was okay, with fan on while getting ready.

Would have liked a full length mirror, and better lighting for doing makeup as it’s a bit dark especially at night with no recessed/main lighting (if a bride/bridesmaid to be stays i recommend bringing a Hollywood lightbulb strip or similar), and soap in bathroom although there was shower gel behind a door in the shower. The towels were small and thin/well used - fine for a solo traveller but could be an issue for a couple away for the first time or similar. These are minor things though only for feedback purposes and to help others make informed choices.
