First time at a Marston's Inns hotel. Very pleased with what I found. My benchmark is Premier Inn, and I'm pleased to say my experience at King's Chamber was even better. Accepting that the whole property is quite new, it did still feel that way in the room. Everything was clean and tidy, the bathroom was very clean and everything functioned as it should. A nice spacious room and a very comfortable bed. Pricing was also very competitive! I will now be looking out for Marston's Inns on my future travels. The adjacent Marston's Inns pub served great and well priced food too.

The accommodation felt safe and secure and is keycard access. Rooms were modern, simple, clean and fresh, comfy bed, an opening window for fresh air which is always a plus. The lighting choice in the room was good, both overhead and bedside. The air con was working well in our room on this very hot August weekend, which was much needed. The bathroom was clean, towels fluffy, soft and a hot shower. The handwash and shower gel were good quality. Rooms are in a separate block to the pub which is great as it made for a lovely, quiet night's sleep. Everything we needed for a simple weekend stay was provided.

Nothing to dislike for us, but should be noted there is no lift to the first floor.

Fantastic location, excellent value for money, able to add breakfast onto booking on arrival which was also excellent value for money & the pub was lovely staff very friendly

Some of the decor outdated, light shades had colourings on them & one of the walls had a burn mark on it, some of the paint was chipped on the walls in the room, we where only staying for 1 night and remained out of the hotel for the majority of the time therefore this wasn’t an issue however if I had paid more and was staying for longer I would have likely had been a little bit more disappointed.

This was my 3rd time staying here Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is great. Very clean and comfortable. I visit the area about twice a year and this is my go to place now. Location is excellent too. Right in the middle of a retail park with 24hr McDonald's right next door., plus KFC, Taco Bell, ALDI and Home Bargains, Subway and 24hour garage. Great access to motorway too and just a short walk to Thorne centre. Ample parking and just across the road from Thorne North Railway station. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The cooked breakfast was great. Not everything on the continental breakfast was laid out buffet style but it may have been available if we’d asked.

The only slight issue was finding the stairs to go up to our rooms. There was no sign on the door to say ‘stairs’. There wasn’t a room number on the door so we looked through the small glass section and saw the stairwell.

Great value. Bed comfy, room great and clean. Food at pub good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Ellie at breakfast service: returned a handbag i mistakenly left at table for breakfast .. picked it up and caught up with us as we returning to hotel building. Thank you! Will definitely return.

Clean, well-equipped rooms, comfy beds, helpful and cheery staff

Great value for money. Room clean, comfy, spacious, with everything needed. Food was good and staff helpful and friendly. A special BIG shout out to ELLIE who was the breakfast waitress both mornings. She was super lovely and efficient too. She also came looking for us when my sister who was staying in another room left her handbag behind...

We where attending my brothers funeral so booked the hotel to save travelling home after and from arriving early we had excellent service from the lovely receptionist who understood we had to drop our case off before the funeral so arranged for it to be put in our room ready for us when it was ready so we didn't have to worry what time we got there. The same receptionist greeted us in the morning into breakfast and asked how it had all gone. I would like to thank her for making a difficult easier. Would highly recommend.

Lovely facilities, rooms were spacious and clean Very Close by to amenities

Pillows weren't comfortable at all, bed was quiet hard but doable. Air con made a whurring noise. Family room upstairs was wonderful however no lift which was quiet an inconvenience with a 4 month old baby and pram and lots of luggage for a family of 4 with two young children.

Breakfast was excellent you could have fully cooked or just continental, room was very clean and cleaned both days good size as well, tv and free wifi provided, bath or shower plus good sized bath towels provided and hand towels with shower wash and hand wash.

Everthing you could ask for with a small break away with aldi and B&M on the doorstep, KFC and Macdonalds plus good pub food carvary or order what you please, food was excellent and well presented
