Very pleasant and panoramic scenery with a serene atmosphere. Friendly reception and service. Breakfasts fine and on time.

There was no electric clock visible to see time at night in bedroom; small fridge for our items was too warm to be effective; but shower unit excellent and other facilities made up for any inadequacies. Roads to site rather pot holed; hand drawn map to show location of cottage supplied with written explanation would have been useful as satnav not able to show it specifically!

Couldn't fault the B&B, the surrounding areas or the hosts What a pleasure it has been to stay with jacquie and Dave and the two little fur babies We were made to feel so welcomed and had a great laugh felt like home from home We didn't want to leave breakfast.was superb every morning, nothing was too much trouble everything was catered for down to toiletries in the bathroom new toothbrushes bath robes ect Can't recommend this place enough you will not be disappointed

The separate sun room with a view was fantastic - sets this place apart from the usual b&b bedroom only establishments. Hosts (and their dogs) very friendly.

Fortunately we read the small print before visiting so we did not arrive expecting the use of the hot tub to be included in the price paid - the title of the property on the listing could be misunderstood in that respect. Otherwise, fabulous.

Absolutely stunning place, we had a perfect stay at Jackie's. We loved the entire place, the sunroom, the hot tub, and the attention to detail from Jackie and Dave. We had a wonderful hot tub session under the stars, even with the freezing weather it was so splendid. We will definitely be back!

Nothing - we loved everything! The only bit we didn't enjoy were the few potholes on the road approaching the property but that's on the council!

Jacquis B&B was perfect in every way. Jacqui & Dave were wonderful hosts who always went that extra mile. The views from the B&B were spectacular and the hired hot tub, comfortable beds, private bathroom, sunroom with small fridge and tv and homemade breakfasts all made our stay one to remember. It was lovely to watch the hens from the dining room window and the goose in the back yard. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the world go by with Douglas the highland terrier. We would definitely love to come back again when we next visit Dumfries. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 😊

The fact we had to come back home.

The room was lovely. It was warm and the bed was very comfortable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. There are stunning views all round and Jacquie is a very friendly and helpful host. The cooked breakfast was superb and had everything!

It's such a shame that the local council hasn't yet fixed the pot holes on part of the approach road, but don't let that put you off, it's worth going and you won't be disappointed..

A firmer mattress would of been better for us ( not everyone) as we are getting on in years ( arthritis in the old bones)

the property was clean, and felt very friendly and homely. the hosts were so friendly and made us feel at home. we were given amazing recommendations of where to eat and what activities to do while staying. the bed was so comfy we didn’t want to get up. Jacquie and Dave make a beautiful breakfast and the hot tub was so nice to relax in on a night.

A wonderful breakfast - all you could want, and beautifully cooked. We loved the location - only 3 miles from Dumfries, but so rural and peaceful, and only 20 minutes from the coast.

I can't think of anything - Jacquie was really thoughtful.

Beautiful countryside location with stunning views. Situated within easy reach of Dumfries and other popular destinations. Accommodation exceptionally clean and comfortable with lots of added extras for a homely stay. Hosts Jacquie and Dave are most welcoming , friendly and helpful . Lovely breakfast, plenty of choice and always served with a smile 😊. Will definitely be returning !
