Location and friendly staff.

Basic rooms, beds too soft, filthy carpets. The rooms have no character. Needs at least a picture on the wall and some information about hotel etc. Nowhere to put suitcase so had to leave on floor. It's not good as I have fibromyalgia, and it is hard to bend to the floor all the time. The shower needs a shelf. Again, I had to bend as I had to leave shampoo, etc, on the floor of the shower. Again, it was difficult as the shower was small. Overall, the reception is lovely, as are the staff, but the rooms let it down a bit. Good price.

Breakfast was good and the evening meal was really good. Service was really good. Good parking.

Tour buses arriving at half past midnight both nights we were there and those passengers/residents not respectful of others staying in the hotel. Because they have just arrived of coach travel and before they had to enter hotel, some of them remained outside reception to have a cigarette/vape and a good natter before entering. This was not ideal as our room window was just above reception door. Also on second night we were then disturbed by a breakdown recovery vehicle right outside our window at 01.00 who kept his engine running the whole time he was recovering a vehicle. Also not considerate. All in all, not ideal.

Friendly staff, clean room, easy to find, free parking.

Hairdryer didn't work, only overhead fixed shower, We ate in the hotel, kids meal was not what we ordered, when telling waitress, she very politely agreed with my view, but didn't offer to remedy it, so the little one didn't eat his food. There was a light shining into our window all night, the window was right next to an entrance door into hotel, the comings and goings of people and lack of blackout curtains meant we got no sleep all night. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and pillows the same. The breakfast was very basic, only a very limited choice of food,

Individual staff, atmosphere, quality of decor and cleanliness were great as usual. We have stayed 5 times and it has previously been spot on.

There were guests from a coach tour booked in and despite the staff trying their utmost, the staffing levels were inadequate to deal with the extra demand at breakfast time. This meant lack of clean tables and one of our group having to wait for their breakfast until after others in their group had finished their meal. The plates for breakfast have always been cold (on all our visits) so hot items don't stay that way for long.

Location and price were great for a night before a flight from Edinburgh Airport. 20 mins from airport parking. Lovely villiage setting. And plenty of free parking. Didn't try the breakfast as we preferred to get to the airport but it looked nice when I dropped off the key card in the morning. Room was large and with all amenities required. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet. We ate in the restaurant- very nice food £11-15 for a main meal. Worth the cost, it tasted great and the service was excellent - very friendly server.

Nothing - we would definitely use again if flying early from Edinburgh and maybe even if travelling to Scotland for a visit.

The room was fine, accessible with a buggy, clean, warm and comfortable. All the food we had was very good, cooked breakfast excellent, as was the food we had from the menu for both lunch and dinner. The staff were all friendly and helpful

We had our grandson with us and spent more time in the room than usual, thus we couldn't access the housekeeping services by 11 in the morning. We had to ask for more tea and coffee sachets and emptied our bins mid stay The high chair we used at breakfast hadn't been cleaned when we got it again for lunch. There could have been some baby/child friendly food options available. I would have liked porridge for breakfast! An option of soup and other lighter snacks for lunch would be good.

All staff we met during our stay where very friendly and extremely helpful. Food was excellent. As a large extended family attending a wedding the hotel was extremely accommodating.

The only thing I would say that was a slight let down was the cleanness in the rooms. Surfaces where overlooked such as tea trays, skirtings and sinks. I would have spoken to staff at the time, but another family member was getting their room re-cleaned and another had to ask for dry towels. Such a shame as everything else was so good.

The location is perfect for touring about area and the hotel has ample parking and is only a short distance from Dunfermline. We enjoyed a quiet drink outside on the large comfortable patio area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We booked for dinner but table was not set when we arrived. Our drinks were served at different times and our server asked for our order before giving us menus. Although staff were polite, some seemed inexperienced and were having to cope with a busy restaurant.

Excellent value for money, great location, lovely inside the hotel with a nice sized bedroom. Had a fantastic breakfast in the modern restaurant. Have family in the area so will definitely stay again.

There was nothing I didn't like. Just suggestions for improvement: maybe usb sockets in the bedrooms as I brought phone charger wire and forgot the actual plug! My fault totally.. Also normal spring mattresses aren't the most comfortable, toppers would help. Would still defo stay again, thanks

I fell in love with this hotel & its staff. Check in was very smooth. I stayed in the executive double room number 106, & found it very comfortable. The room size is 172 feet², has a En suite bathroom, Flat-screen TV & Free WiFi The private bathroom comes with: Free toiletries, Toilet, Bath or shower, Towels, Hairdryer & Toilet paper. The entire unit located on ground floor Entire unit wheelchair accessible. It has linen, tea/Coffee maker, Iron, Heating, Fan, Carpeted, Electric kettle, Desk, TV Satellite channels, Radio, Flat-screen TV, Socket near the bed & Clothes rack. The shower was exceptional. I rate it at 9/10. This accommodation more than met my expectations for the money. I have paid double the amount of money for a room before & have not had this satisfaction. My room was spotless with only a few blemishes on the carpet. My room was situated on the ground floor facing the car park, but this did not bother me, because the sound proofing by the windows were very effective. I slept very well, the bed very comfortable. If you want a quiet room I highly recommend that you book a room at the back, it is much quieter than the front because it does not face the main road. The windows are that good, that it cuts a lot of the traffic noise out, so even if you get a room at the front, facing the main street, the noise levels will be subdued. The room has tea/coffee making facilities & comes with biscuits. Wardrobe space was sufficient for me but more space may be required if one is travelling with a huge amount of wardrobe as a couple. Breakfast was very good rated at 8/10 in my opinion which is very good. I had exceptional service from a member of staff who served me named "Inga" From Lithuania. She really made a huge part of my vacation awesome. This hotel made me feel so relaxed & comfortable it was very healing for me. Access to this hotel is no problem if you don't drive.

I would have liked a laptop safe and fridge in the room . Nothing to dislike, this hotel is very nice.
