The location was amazing. The bed is really comfy and although you’re right in the city you can’t hear much noise

Our oven didn’t work, the bathroom door didn’t close which caused issues with the fire alarms. The fire alarms went off a few times during our stay

location was very convenient. No water in shower our final morning. Staff came quickly to fix but because of the early time we had to leave, by the time they arrived we did not have time to shower our last day. I realize it was no ones fault but it was not a good way to leave.

The pillows need to be replaced or laundered with bleach. They smell terrible! Really terrible and the smell is not hidden by using fresh linens

The appartment was well presented, modern and clean. It was very easy to access as instructions were very clearly stated. The washing machine was a bonus, the shower lovely and hot and the heating was excellent! It was in a perfect location in the centre of the city and close to walk to all the famous sights. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the Linton Collection on our 12 day stay in Edinburgh.

The bedroom section was a little tight to move around in but this was only a very small problem. Unfortunately there were roadworks on North Bridge making it impossible for a taxi to drop us off directly in front. Of course this is not the fault of Linton Collection and one can be dropped off close by.

The room was very spacious and clean, with good kitchen facilities and a washing machine (with everything you need provided - washing detergent, drying rack, cooking utensils). The room was nicely furnished, and the bed was comfortable and clean.

The bathroom, while lovely, could have been improved by an anti-slip mat inside the shower, or anti-slip bathmat for getting out of the shower. The shower is also raised, and may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues to use it. However, bathroom was still clean and useable (all towels provided). The lift only works across one section of the building, and guests should be warned they may have to carry their luggage up several flights of stairs.

Property was great, once we were able to get in, the stay was very nice. Great Location, very comfortable apartment with everything you need. They do offer luggage storage if your apartment is not ready (if you arrive early), that was so convenient.

Did not get the check in email, let Booking.com know and messaged the property also. Was told it was sent but never received. That was the only problem, the stay was nice. we were told there was a property manager available. It took a couple phone calls to get the door code to get it. Once inside the stay was great.

Location and facilities. Loved the easy check-in and easy check-out. Appreciated the access to luggage storage. Very close to all main attractions - The Royal Mile, Scott Monument, Calton Hill. Very close to Waverly station and options for food were endless. The apartment was very clean, well managed and stocked appropriately. We loved the multisurface cleaner that was left for us. We travelled as a family of 4 and were very comfortable. I would definitely return and stay here in the future. Warning - not all flats are accessible by lift, so must be able to climb stairs with luggage.

Needed clean toilet brush. Counters were wet and flooded on arrival soaking through all the complementary teas, but the milk and nespresso pods were fine. Easily cleaned and sorted by us.

The location was excellent for being in the heart of Edinburgh especially the Royal Mile. The apartment was very well appointed and super clean. Loved the bathroom and the excellent shower. All the directions for the property were accurate .

We couldn't park outside the apartment to unload and so used the carpark at Waverly as instructed. Lugging suitcases up an incline for 400m then up 3 flights of stairs was not pleasant however, this was detailed in the instructions so we knew what we were in for. Was it worth it? ........ABSOLUTELY!! One of the staff kindly helped us and we even managed to get into the apartment a wee bit earlier.

The flat was spacious and well appointed with a great location. Any staff we encountered were responsive and happy to help out in any way. The area is busy, however the unit was nice and quiet.

A few small things -- the towels are thick and don't dry well between showers. There's no hair conditioner, face cloths or makeup mirror. Also, the microwave was crazy/complicated compared to what we're used to in the US. The instruction manual that is in the suite doesn't match the model installed. Although the clothes washing machine worked great, it wasn't obvious that there was no clothes dryer prior to booking. The drying rack worked well enough, however someone on a shorter stay might not have adequate time to dry their clothes. Our flat was on the upper floor which is not accessible by the elevator, so anyone with mobility problems should book a flat on a lower floor.

The apartment was located on the 5th floor; it was not a loft. We were able to take the lift to the 3rd floor and walked up 2 floors. It worked easily for us as we packed light with backpacks. The apartment was clean and well-appointed for our needs and had a comfy bed. The television had a decent selection of channels, and the bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower. There is a washer located in the kitchen; there is no dryer. A small hanging rack was provided. Check-in was smooth, but be sure to complete everything when you get the email (with link) a couple of days ahead of your stay. All my questions prior to and during were answered promptly; I communicated via the Bookong app. The location was perfect to be able to walk the Royal Mile, and you can easily walk to other areas such as Calton Hill. There is currently road construction on North Bridge, but walking was fine. The outer door is controlled by a PIN unique to each person. They will tell you about it when you finish check-in. We would recommend staying here.

Wished it had a dryer, but I wouldn't consider that to be a deal breaker unless you have heavy items to dry.

Great location right next to the Royal Mile with plenty of food, drink, and shopping options available. The apartment was perfect size for just us as a couple.

The links for online checkin get disabled thru booking.com so you have to contact the company to actually complete online checkin. You can hear everything from the hallway outside of the apartment as there is a gap under the door, so trying to sleep in a little bit when a cleaning lady was at the apartment was next door didn't work out. Only shampoo and bodywash available in the shower so ladies with long hair like myself, make sure to bring your own conditioner and no hair dryer available.
