Amazing place to stay in Falmouth! Before arrival we messaged to check they could accommodate a vegan breakfast for us and they were quick to respond with a friendly yes. On arrival the welcome was friendly and informative and we were thrilled with our sea view room. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the view was breathtaking! The breakfast was fabulous and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is tea/coffee/milk and water available at all times to take to your room. The location is right by Gylly Beach, a fantastic place to watch the swimmers and seals! Lovely walks to Swanpool and Maenporth on the coastal path. The main shopping area is a short walk or drive. We went to an event at Princess Pavilions and it is the ideal location for a short walk home after a night of dancing! We ate at the Gylly Beach Restaurant and can highly recommend it for Sunday roast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it

Nothing, we had a fabulous stay

Great location, east walk to the town and next to the beach. We had the smallest room but still very serviceable with en-suite facilities. All Staff at were very helpful and efficient. Everything clean and tidy.

Bedroom could have done with an easy chair to sit in, we had a dressing table chair only so had to sit on the bed. Breakfast was not 5 star, it was ok but not excellent. Ordered the night before so not cooked to order, bacon hard and chewy, eggs were good but scrambled egg dry. Meal was warm not hot. Preserves were just the cheapest foil covered ones and bread was very cheap and thin too. Yogurts ok but no plain flavour. Service very quick but made it feel rather rushed.

Anacapri is a superbly situated and well run B and B. The staff were all attentive, and the rooms clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the sea whilst enjoying a lovely breakfast all for a reasonable price. We were able to leave the car in their car park and easily walk into Falmouth Town Centre. Falmouth itself has an excellent range of shops, the maritime Museum, and a vast choice of restaurants catering to all tastes. We went to Cribbs and enjoyed Goat Curry! We also thoroughly enjoyed our chat with the lovely couple who were in charge that evening (apologies for not remembering their names), a fascinating briefing on the history of the area, great pub recommendation (The Seven Stars - which we found and enjoyed) and we even stopped on our journey home to visit the remains of an old Knights Templar building. We would never have discovered these things without his advice.

Anakapri is a very clean, well managed and well maintained guest house. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble to them. There was a good choice at breakfast time and the food was good. Although we were out and about most of the time, our stay here was very comfortable and enjoyable, so we definitely recommend staying here.

The layout of the en suite (with the low beam) was a bit annoying, but we were staying in a room situated on the top floor which had a sloping ceiling, so the layout couldn't really have been designed much differently.

Sandra was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast staff were also friendly and very efficient. The views from our room and the breakfast room were amazing. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Bed was comfortable, but the headboard tended to bang the wall every time we turned over in bed. Teas and coffees were plentiful. Location was great. Beautiful views of the sea and beach and also close to the university (10 minute drive). Bar was cosy and well stocked. It was a shame we only had one night at the hotel. We would have loved to stay longer and explore the area but hope to revisit the next time we visit our son at the university.

Shower room was compact with no window but this wasn’t really an issue. The main problem was the shower cubicle could have done with a shelf for toiletries.

Anacapri is in a great location, just set back from the beach and within easy walking distance of the town centre. I had a phonecall on the morning of my stay to offer me and my daughter a room upgrade at no additional cost. We had a beautifully decorated twin room that had plenty of space for both of us and a large modern ensuite shower room. Living abroad in an uncarpeted home we particularly enjoyed the luxurious deep feeling carpet in the bedroom with a wave pattern on it!! The lady who welcomed us on reception was delightful, she was very kind and helpful and made us feel at home. We liked the ‘self serve’ option with tea, coffee, biscuits and water from the reception area. Such a good idea. Breakfast was part self service and part served, with the cooked items arriving promptly. All the staff we encountered seemed to care about their work, tables were cleaned quickly, people were served quickly, it was al very refreshing to see! There was plenty of on site car parking.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and attentive staff. Great view from our window (knowing not all rooms may have the same. Easy check in and times were great (having a room until 1030 does make a difference, as many places we have stayed at limit the che ck out time to 1000. A local map plan was also most useful, for people who do not know the area - we were given one and it was very good (even if it was in German :) )

Possibly having a room safe would be good, BUT this is NOT a criticism. Nothing really to fault at all.

Everything it was exceptional,all the staff were amazing 2 people in particular Fiona who went above and beyond and Becky. I had phoned the day before to say Mum had had covid and was still poorly and that I wasn’t well and due to have an operation. Mum was covid negative when we arrived we were due to stay in room on top floor without seaview ,we were upgraded to a room on first floor with a beautiful sea view room was absolutely stunning,we so appreciated this . It was my Mum’s birthday next day had told Fiona,while we were having breakfast,which is amazing she came and said Happy Birthday to my Mum and gave her a lovely bottle of sparkling wine,this made my Mum’s day.Fiona was so kind to us,she carried our bags in also when we first arrived. I definitely will be returning,great hotel definitely recommend,lovely staff,location fantastic,definitely great value for money 😀

Everything was perfect

We have been to Falmouth many times staying at a variety of locations and the Anacapri far exceeded the standards of the others. the staff were particularly helpful especially Colin on front desk and Becky who runs the bar.

Everything, location was wonderful by the seafront, reception and breakfast ladies very friendly and helpful, they could accommodate our early morning breakfast. The little hotel is very pretty itself and has a very decent size bfast room with sea views. I went with my daughter to visit Penryn Univ campus for one night and we really enjoyed the hotel service and the evening in Falmouth. They offer chilled bottles of water (tap water) to take to your room as well as tea and coffee at reception, nice touch.

We liked it all, our bedroom had lovely views to the sea and was pretty decorated. It took me a while to get hot water in the shower as the thermostat control was broken but I managed eventually. They should probably repair this as it’s a minor thing and the room was really nice.
