We only appreciated how nice Chelsea House is when we were shown our room, Spacious, decorated as if it were our own home, and with sweeping views to the water. Sharon and Nigel were engaging and generous hosts. Always good for a chat at breakfast but otherwise discrete. Easy walk to the main street area. Though parking is not on site, on street parking proved to be very easy. Good wi-fi. If we ever return to Falmouth, we will stay at Chelsea House again.

Being picky, we had a tight shower in a smallish bathroom, but we accept this as the price you pay for having a very spacious room. I would have preferred one firm pillow and one soft pillow but tha's my fault. Should have asked, as it was offered in the information booklet.

The breakfast was outstanding overall though the tea could have been Cornish and the coffee better. The range of breakfast was amazing though. The location was fantastic- new to the beach and beautiful park

The decor in room could have been better. Bit dated

Our room was spectacular, with stunning views in two directions, beautifully appointed and decorated. Breakfast was perfect every day 7 days in a row. Sharon and Nigel were so friendly and anticipated our needs and wants. The neighborhood felt safe to walk in day and night. It's a 6-7 minute walk to the beach, 12 minutes to the Falmouth University campus, and 15 minutes to many of the great restaurants in town.

Ok, this is the tiniest thing in the world, compared to dozens of positives, but there could be a few more tea bags and types of tea supplied with the tea kettle in the room.

First of all, the hosts! Sharon is so kind and helpful, truly wishing to make our stay as nice as possible, she can offer good tips of things to see around. The room was nice with sun coming in in the morning. The location allowed us to have peaceful mornings with birds singing and no city noise. A really beautiful way to start the day. The food - there are not so many options but those that they have are really good and they also offer options with differences based on what they have in the menu. They also make some homemade chocolate which was waiting for us in the room upon our arrival. We’ve come to realize that it’s a daily gesture to give something sweet for later, be it the best blueberry muffins or gingerbread.

There wasn’t something we didn’t like about the property, only in the beginning, the slight smell of an old house, but then you don’t notice it anymore and with an open window and fresh air it’s not there anymore. It’s not something that we didn’t like, just a useful information. If you want to be right next to the town center, this is at a around 10 min walk. And at a 2 min walk from the beach.

A wonderful, relaxing stay! Brilliant hosts who made our stay special and memorable. Breakfast was delicious and varied, we particularly loved the bean Pattie with scrambled eggs that was on special. Sharon’s delicious cake treats each day were divine. The beds were so comfy and the room spotless, we loved the balcony overlooking the sea in the Prince room. It was a perfect place to stay!

Hospitality from Sharon and Nigel was above and beyond. We felt like friends from the beginning. Super comfortable bed and pillows, loved our room with view of the water (thanks for the upgrade). A chocolate treat in fridge on arrival and each day upon leaving Sharon handed us a paper bag with a homemade treat to keep us going 😊 and Breakfast was just perfect. I can see why Chelsea House has return guests every year.

An amazing stay at Chelsea House, Sharon and Nigel were the most wonderful hosts, very welcoming and kind. The hotel is beautifully furnished, great quality bedding and towels and nice touches such as fridge stocked with essentials and Sharon’s baked treats. The hotel is in a great location with stunning views and a pleasant walk in to the town, gardens or beach. breakfast was also delicious with daily specials which was a nice surprise.We traveled with our dog and he was also made to feel very welcome and was well catered for in the room and around the hotel. Thanks for a great long weekend, we really enjoyed it.
