Bay Villa is an absolute gem that we loved so much. It was so bespoke and special for us. We stayed 5 nights in the Old Library Room and it was so magical. The room was beautiful with so many lovely victorian touches starting from the four poster bed, lovely furniture and the fire place. The bathroom had a cute vintage looking radio. Breakfast was freshly cooked daily and Margaret was such a great host. Very generous portions and her porridge came with a dose of whisky! The breakfast table overlooked the Moracombe bay and there were trains passing by almost every 20 mins. What an ansolute delight it was. The best B&B we have stayed at in the UK. Special thanks to Margaret for looking after me and my hubby so well.

Very spacious main room with a dressing room and large bathroom. Huge picture windows overlooking Morecambe Bay. Very welcoming and friendly landlady. The standout feature, which we have never experienced at a B&B before, was the service of breakfast in our room. It was not a tray meal, but full service at our circular table with bay views. We appreciated not having to share a breakfast space with other guests.

Parking is in the public car park a very short walk away, and we were given a car pass to save us paying. It felt like a safe car park. Even in November the car park was 3/4 full, and I understand that in summer it fills up very quickly.

The room was stunning as were the view.s! The room was spacious with a luxurious grand feel to it. It was a comfortable temperature and you could open the window to let some air in. Tea and coffee were in the room daily and some complimentary drinks and snacks when we arrived. A lovely two course breakfast which we chose from a menu with plenty of choice was served in our room at a time of our choosing. What a view to take in whilst dining. This room and experience really had the Wow factor! Margaret, the host was so welcoming and really looked after us.

We stayed in the library room for 2 nights as part of our minimoon trip after our wedding in Cumbria. We were looking for somewhere special to stay and Bay Villa fit the bill perfectly. Margaret made us feel really welcome right from the outset and was the perfect hostess. The four poster bed was the most comfortable bed I think I've ever slept in and the breakfast was delicious and brought to the room each day. Parking was easy (just a minute's walk away) and the area felt safe and quiet. The place was spotless and Margaret had thought of everything we should need, also leaving us a welcome drink, some biscuits and some excellent teas and coffees. It is such a beautiful room, we didn't feel the need to go out much in the evening as there was so much space and it had a relaxing atmosphere with armchairs, a fireplace and a swing chair on the balcony! Excellent service from start to finish. Great communication from Margaret. Room ready on arrival so little bit early check in. Belated Anniversary trip and we got a nice bottle of prosecco off Margaret which was lovely. Room is very spacious, plenty off seating to chill out and take in the scenery. Comfortable bed. large shower. mini fridge with welcome pack and breakfast in your room. Plenty to choose from as we are vegetarian. Will defo be back and thanks to Margaret for a fab stay.

Our room was amazing, very luxurious, the bed was huge, so comfy! Having a bath over looking the estuary was so good, relaxing. Breakfast was superb, all local and freshly cooked, piping hot and delicious. Margaret is lovely, nothing was too much trouble, she made us so welcome and spoiled us rotten. Parking was good, we had a pass for the carpark which we could also use in other nominates car parks around the area. This was our return stay and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Amazing place. We went for our honeymoon and when we arrived the room was even better than we imagined. We stayed in Silverdale and it was perfect for a honeymoon, just so romantic with a gorgeous view. When we arrived there were 2 mini bottles of prosecco, 2 mini cupcakes and a heart shaped balloon in the room. Also a few complimentary drinks in the fridge. Great choice of breakfast which is served in the room. We had something different every day and it was all delicious. Oh also the parking permit is brilliant as you can use it at a few other places in the area. I felt like they had thought of everything. Definitely recommended this place. Thank you so much for looking after us.

Margaret gave us a fabulous, friendly welcome and she was very informative. She was really great and has literally thought of everything to make her guests relaxed and as happy as possible. Lovely thoughtful touches throughout. We were totally shocked at the size of the room and the size of the bed. It was just totally amazing with absolutely stunning views of Morecombe Bay. There is an extra dressing room and drinks area with a fridge with fresh milk and special thoughtful treats for us, of the highest quality. The Estuary is pure luxury & we were treated like Royalty. Lynn served our breakfast in our room each day and she was just lovely. Really happy, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She works so hard but always has a smile on her face & is there for you if you need her. She was fabulous. She text directions on the day we were coming & they were such a massive help. You could not wish for a better hotel or be looked after any better. The bed is so comfortable, its perfect. The shower is so powerful and hot & the toiletries are divine. Everything is exquisite & our stay was incredible and amazing value for money. There are a lot of places to eat that are really nice but most of them close early around 4pm so on an evening you are a little bit limited if you don't want to drive. The Estuary and Amber Court Chinese are great. The promenade is great for walking and the railway station is only a very short 5/10 minute walk along it or you can walk through the Ornamental Garden which is really lovely. You can buy a large bag of food for the ducks from the honesty box for £1 but be careful as once you start feeding the ducks all the birds will come flying towards you. We got trains all over as the train station is so close. If you fancy driving Cartmel is only 15 mins away and is well worth visiting with a lot of absolutely fabulous pubs & restaurants and there is a racecourse in the middle of the village.

The stay exceeded our expectations. Room was very comfortable with a verandah overlooking the bay. You get a parking permit to park in the car park behind Bay Villa. Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of variety. Margaret was the perfect host. There was a basket in the room with plates, cutlery, napkins and take away menus, which we used for an Indian takeaway. We would definitely recommend this place to stay and we will return.

We had an amazing stay. The room was beautiful and you could see that great care had been taken in regard to the style of the room, furnishings, comfort and cleanliness. It had everything we needed for our stay. The view was lovely and the location perfect. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from- Lynn was lovely and our breakfast was served to us in our room which we liked. It was my husbands birthday and some sparkling wine on ice with cake was waiting for us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend.
