Very friendly & welcoming, really clean & well laid out guest house, so quiet too. 2 nights, room was light airy & warm, we stayed in room 8 (red room) top floor, views of the sea, unfortunately their cook was poorly so couldn't sample breakfast but cafe just down the road made a delicious full english.

Smell of cooked food as you walked in but not a major issue. Alot of signs, they obviously have had problems previously. Not sure I was entirely happy about them coming into the room to make our bed whilst we were out during the day.

The room was clean and spacious. The pillows were HEAVENLY! The guests were nice and quiet. The room was the perfect temperature Overall some really quirky interesting decor and we really enjoyed it. The ONLY disappointment is Booking.com do not let them put ‘part’ sea views so it is a good thing that I called the hotel to query it when he sent me an email saying ‘some’ sea views. The hotel are open and honest about it and next time I will book direct with any hotel.

The shower is a little disappointing but the big white fluffy towels more than make up for that.

Lovely location, ideal for walking either down to beach area for a wander & to watch windsurfers or just wandering along high street (thankfully not full of well known shops). Fantastic sunset on our 1st night. Room very comfortable, great to sit on balcony. Very helpful owners, didn't have breakfast - our choice to go to a local cafe. Plenty of cafés & coffee shops (including those that catered for dietary issues, such as gluten free). Lots of well behaved dogs in the area - both inside & outside of pubs etc.

Location was great, we visited with a family member who couldn't walk too far, this hotel was 5 minutes maximum to the town centre, near all the restaurants, the sea view from the front of the property was great as well as the park opposite. Breakfast was tasty and hosts chatty, made us feel welcome.

Parking is an issue, this venue only has 4 spaces so had to keep moving car as restricted between 9am to 6pm parking on roadside, with it being summer, day visitors has taken all side streets with available parking. Hotel was doing all it could.

Such a fabulous place. Super welcoming and friendly staff. No problems with parking. Centrally located within easy walking distance of all main attractions. Really lovely room (French room) - super clean, had everything you could want/need. Arrived during the evening and the room was nice and warm. No complaints at all. Will stay here again.

Not a complaint - but as a super picky eater that's also vegetarian, the breakfast menu wasn't something I could really eat from (not their fault at all, though maybe it's possible to add a couple more breakfast options?) The staff however did reccommend a place just a few mins walk away on the high street and it was a really good breakfast so I was happy!

Location is great, just a short walk to the beach and to the town centre. The Guest house is very homely and the owners were very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was perfect! We loved our room with the balcony and slight sea view. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this Guest house to anyone. Thank you for a great stay.

There are only 4 parking spaces at property, so it’s first come first served, but there is free parking on streets close by.

the room was very comfy,2 easy chairs and footstools,for sitting and relaxing,the bed and pillows were both very comfortable,topped up daily with teabags and milk.although we didn't use it the balcony had 2 chairs,for sitting and watching the sunset.

we stayed in room 1,the only drawback for us both being 6ft.was the shower cubicle,enough room to turn around but could not bend down in it.

Genial and charming hosts. Super breakfast, wonderfully fresh fruit, spacious and clean room. Wife loved the bed, I didn’t, but that’s my back issues. I need a hard bed.

I can’t really fault the place. Very central, sunset view, Pub hotel within 3 minutes walk. There is nothing to complain about whatsoever. As guest houses go I’ve never stayed in a better one. It was a once only trip to North Norfolk, but we enjoyed it.

Check in was very smooth, limited parking on-site, however plenty of free on road parking very close to and around the area. We had the English breakfast the first day, which was lovely, plenty of tea and more toast if requested, no rush to leave your table. Our room was on the 2nd floor, it was a lovely size with comfortable chairs to chill in, in the evening. Good size bathroom, with a good size shower cubicle. although we were warned about the possible low water pressure, i chose to pick a time when i felt not many people would be showing and had no problem. Tea, coffee and even hot choc and biscuits were available, and a bonus to have it restocked each day. Clean towels were also made available daily, such a privilege, very spoilt. If you have mobility issues, or cannot do a flight of stairs, don't be put off, book the ground floor, or the first floor is one flight. It was also a real bonus to have proper windows, which open, although it was cooler evenings in September, I like fresh air at night, which made sleeping so much nicer, the bed was comfortable, with lovely fresh linen and two, YES two big pillows each, so the choice is yours. The whole place was spotless, and fresh, and had a warm welcoming feel to it. We would defiantly try and book here again when we are in the area. Thank you Michelle and Holger.

This is a very hard question to answer, therefore I sat racking by brain, and I cannot think of anything.

Greeted with all smiles and a friendly welcome at reception. When entering our ground floor room we was in complete awe of the detail and style, we couldn't help but gaze at the beauty. Greeting us through the window was a stunning view of the sea in the distance which only added more beauty to the room. The theme was French design but still kept the seaside vibe which somehow worked very well. The decor was rustic comfort with a touch of elegance, completely from a fairytale. The bathroom was kept clean, too small for a sink but they made the sink part of the room in a unique way. The shower was also separate from the bathroom but was tucked away with great privacy. After the many things to discover in the room we definitely needed a lay down. The bed was very inviting, after taking down the mountain of pillows we finally got inside the bed. The coffee & tea selection was pleasant, especially all the snacks to choose from. After our cuppa we took a walk down the street, less than a minute we was at the sea which offered many attractions and places to eat. Even if you don't want to participate in all the activities, a late night walk by the sea is more than worth it. With multiple activities to choose from we couldn't help but be more excited to head back in the sunset Inn to our lovely room. The shower was easy to use and was warm which got us in the mood for a lovely sleep. Unfortunately the sleep wasn't as pleasant as we wanted but this did not take anything away from how we felt about our stay. From the face soaps to the cute door handles, this place had endless touches which made us feel special. A completely different style from Hunstanton but still gave that seaside vibe. We skipped breakfast but we're sure that would have been just as good. A must stay again, would recommend to anyone!
