The guest rooms are in a one storey block at the back of the pub, i.e. not over the bar, and therefore quiet. Our room (No. 5) was clean, warm, well-appointed and spacious. That was partly because it was designed for a disabled guest, not a facility we needed, but it meant the ensuite shower room was a large wet room, with a powerful and as hot as you would want it shower. There is a good grass-covered area with tables at the back, and the room itself has small patio and table (though only two outdoor chairs fbetween the three rooms in the block, which each had a small outdoor table. The staff were welcoming and friendly, as were the waiters in the evening. The pub offered good pub food in the evening, but only does breakfasts at weekends The Old Store nearby offers breakfasts, but we never went to it. . The Queen Victoria is centrally placed in a pretty village. RSPB Snettisham is only a mile or away, and Wild Ken Hill (featured on Springwatch etc.) not much more than a mile away - worth getting a guided tour if you're into regenerative farming and rewilding.

Two chairs for the small outdoor table on the room's little patio. We were there mid-week when the Queen Victoria doesn't offer breakfasts which didn't matter much, but a breakfast would have been nice.

The location was ideal for us to visit a number of places of interest. No breakfast was provided, except weekends, but this was not a problem for us for our short stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and private, no noise.

The shower curtain was too long and had a tendency to block the plughole, thus causing a build up of water which would have overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Also there could have been a mat on the bathroom floor to prevent slipping (I made these comments on a card provided for any comments). Also the fitted sheet was not a good fit and tended to come loose at one corner.

Friendly /helpful hosts VFM meals(especially themed meal nights) Friendly pub locals Good room facilities (inc mini cooler, sky tv if needed) Excellent location for exploring the coastal area. No mid-week breakfast but thats a bonus as the Old Granary(2 mins away) is an excellent cafe serving great food and drink and excellent pastries

Little to fault though would suggest room would benefit from a 6 socket extension lead to allow more charging points. No decor expert but Id suggest the room would have a fresher feel with new and lighter bedding.Minor points for an otherwise enjoyable welcoming stay.

Loved the triple room we had outside which had a lovely patio and own personal entrance. The staff were very welcome and if we needed anything they were available the pub is very friendly and welcoming the main factor as well they are very dog friendly and they allow you to bring your dog/dogs could not fault anything would definitely recommend beaches are only a drive up the road. Will definitely be returning 🙂🙂

lovely friendly couple have recently taken over and could not be more helpful or pleasant. We arrived by bus, which stopped just across the road and used it as a base to go to RSPB Snettisham Reserve, which can be walked to across/through the common and along some quiet country roads. The room was comfortable and spotless with all we needed and a great shower! The home cooked food was delicious with plenty of variety including lovely vegetarian options. Everything was exceptionally good value for money, with friendly personal service.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We were cycling The Rebellion Way. This was a great stop. We were given a lovely room located where we could store our bikes safely. The evening meal was excellent and reasonably priced.

The Landlady was exceptionally busy and stressed and made life a bit uncomfortable but she did regain her good spirits and made up for earlier.

We loved how the rooms were separate from the pub itself. The bench outside the room was a lovely surprise. It was very peaceful and quiet.

The only thing I can think complain about was the shower. and it’s not even a big deal. we’re used to terrible water pressure so I wasn’t expecting to get drenched when I started to run a shower for my son lol.
