This hotel was lovely, perfectly placed to explore the hills & surrounding area. The room was spacious and quiet and the bed was comfortable, we slept really well. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. One of the best things about this hotel is the food, we had breakfast twice and dinner once and it was so delicious! Also helpful that this hotel had onsite parking.

Not much we didn’t like, only downsides were the road noise but with the windows closed this wasn’t an issue and our room had a very bright emergency exit light that couldn’t be turned off, as a light sleeper I thought it would bother me but I still ended up sleeping well.

Amazing from the get-go, a lovely welcome by the staff when we turned up and was shown to our room, sugarloaf Hill, amazing room, and very cleaned. The shower pressure was amazing. The bar staff were lovely, very helpful, and she made lovely cocktails. Food was out of this world, as we didn't even once have to put salt or pepper for season. I had the duck as I love duck, it was cooked amazing, and season just right. Breakfast was brilliant, poached eggs were done lovely, and pancakes were very nice. A lovely spread of drinks, yoghurts, and continental food as well. Extremely helpful staff but not to point of over bugging you xx Will be staying here again soon

The hotels vibe was great and it was nice to see a young team running the show. The food was excellent and was the main reason why we choose to stay here. Location and views were amazing. A real find and will return when back in the area.

We are having to be really picky to find fault, but there was some tiny little details in the refurbishments finishes that could be easily rectified by a maintence team. For instance gap around socket and wobbly tiling bead also the grout in the shower could do with a good clean. Toilet brush has calcium build up from never being cleaned out or bleached. Paving stone used to hold down a wire by entrance ( just stood out ) All Easily rectified and would of given 10 out of 10. ( My job im afraid so i noticed )

Absolutely amazing stay at Verzon House. Extremely good value for money in a top class hotel. My bedroom was beautiful, with glorious views of the garden and Malvern Hills. Quality toiletries provided. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and eaten in beautifully decorated rooms. The owners have a vineyard in Provence, and their delicious wine can be purchased at a very reasonable price. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would most definitely recommend Verzon House to anyone wishing for a 5 star experience in luxurious surroundings.

The hotel is set in the rolling countryside just outside Ledbury and close to Hereford. The facilities throughout the hotel are up to date with 'boutique' feel. All of the staff were helpful and welcoming (it was great actually being shown to our room). The restaurant was busy - a good sign - and the menu interesting. Breakfast was very good. Our room was comfortable and a reasonable size for our one night stay.

There was really nothing that we didn't like but would suggest a mirror light in the bathroom would be helpful.

We went for my Mum's 80th birthday lunch. Because of distance we booked to stay overnight - with a last-minute dog, Ruby (our neighbour died and we're fostering her). The staff took all of this in their stride and were very lovely to us. The gardens and allotment were a pleasure at 7 am when I went for a walk with Ruby. No poo bin but I found a big industrial type bin at a short distance from the carpark!

the risotto I had was a bit odd. Possibly the goat's cheese but I usually like goat's cheese.

The hotel is in lovely surroundings with stunning views across to the Malvern hills. We had a spacious room on the top floor with a modern bathroom and walk in shower. Decor was really nice. Slept well, bed very comfy and the room was quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, great choice. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We loved the free gifts of Kombucha in the room. Would recommend a stay here, is good value for what you get.

The room was a little bit cold at night. Radiator was on but did not heat the room fully.

Very happy with our stay. We knew the resturant and bar would be closed and that we would self check in and that was all fine by us. Room was excellent. Quality of breakfast was excellent too.

Nothing that we didn't like and the breakfast was high quality. I did ask for toast but there was no offer of any jams/marmalde or preserves which would have been nice especially if they were homemade and to the quality of all the other food (just a suggestion :-).

The staff were very friendly and everything was extremely well finished and clean. The room was really comfortable and had everything you could possibly ask for. There was a fabulous restaurant and views to die for!

I think the hotel might have been slightly short staffed on the first night we stayed, as finding someone wasn’t so straightforward, but when we did, the service was excellent. Special thanks to Doug who was really helpful and friendly!

The hotel is conveniently located in Malvern Hills area, with lovely grounds & garden, a spacious parking and the building itself is nice. Our room was on the small side, but confortable. Breakfast was excellent! We had cocktails in the evening and dinner on site and everything was delicious!

We have arrived during dinner time and there was nobody at the reception desk, we had to wait to be registered. But it wasn't a real problem.
