The hygiene standards were very good, staff friendly and attentive. Well set out easy to use hotel.

The bin bags in the bin were small, that was annoying and inadequate. But other than that I suppose the heater maybe wasn't working correctly I don't know but that was annoying too. In my friends room the heating worked fine though. Also my room backed onto some loading area. I didn't appreciate them shouting over the tannoy through the night as I had a 1 year old in my room. Next time I will request a different room. But tbh aside from the small things I mentioned. This is one of the best value for money hotels I've stayed at lately and and the good outweighed the bad.

Only needed somewhere to change and sleep for night as we was watching a comedy gig there so wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something clean, convenient, comfortable and affordable... it was all this and actually quite nice. Quite a quirky hotel, staff seemed friendly at reception. Got a discount for parking. You can stream off your phone to the TV but we lost connection but didn't ruin the night just worth a mention if there a while. Good when it worked though to have that option when winding down. They have a restaurant there but if you want breakfast then be up on time and ready or you snooze and loose like we did as it ends at 10am... thank god for weatherspoons which isn't far, as wasn't the dominoes we had for tea the night before right next door and close to bars, restaurants and shopping centre. Liked the late checkout time though too. All in all was happy and thought we had a bargain to be honest.

The only thing I'd mention is that we couldn't get the heating on. The air con was on already and as it got later we felt a bit cold. We had turned to air con off a bit earlier but couldn't get the heating on. Instructions would have been helpful or something.

Ignore all the "ee by gum" nonsense on the walls. If there's anything essentially "Yorkshire" about this hotel - and mostly there isn't - it's its functionality. It's clean, convenient and efficient . The staff are not overly chatty. They seem to exist to process you in and out asap. However, they thaw out quickly if you engage them in conversation and they'll do their best to help you. I found them to be a pleasant bunch of youngsters behind it all, they're just very busy, probably. My room was lovely and quiet, and it was well-serviced. The cleaning staff are very hard-working.

Not a great reception area - a bit plastic and inhospitable. The room could get very warm and the air-conditioning didn't adjust very effectively. The window didn't open. The shower room was very cramped, with one door blocking another and plenty of corners for you to bang elbows and knees off.

I stayed here twice due to needing to be near to the hospital. Easy to find, mostly clean (some hairs in shower on second visit), quiet, comfy and able to sleep well. Staff helpful and got extra towels when needed. Loved the shower and decor. Nice having somewhere lovely to relax after difficult days.

The car park access is near to the hotel but it’s all steps, if you have a disability this makes it very difficult when you’ve then got your overnight bags with you. Hence, you need to be able to do several flights of stairs. If there is a lift, I didn’t see one, and can’t be that close by (hotel needs to inform people of this).

The staff was very helpful.The hotel very clean and very quiet. My room was excellent and very spacious. The bed so big and comfy and I loved the big screen tv. Also the curtains were proper blackout so I had the best sleeps I've had in absolute ages. I liked the lighting system and the fact there's plenty of sockets in the room and by the bed. I'm definitely staying here again

What i didn't like is very very minor. The towels were not long enough. There are no shelves in the shower to put your products when washing your hair so it was a balancing act on the little rail.

This is our second visit and it was not the same. There were no hand towels, I asked at the reception desk to be told that they do not do them just bath towels. The bath towels just about go round you so not ideal. No glasses in the room, just paper coffee cups in the bathroom 🤷🏻‍♂️. The hand rail in the shower was falling off and mouldy. Black mood in the corners of the shower. The basin did not drain very well slowly filled up when used. The shower gel is pink slimy hand soap, I should have taken a picture as I saw the bulk container in the corridor when I was leaving the room. I under stand the need for making financial savings but considering the cost I expect more.

Good food, good facilities, great shower, comfy and HUGE bed and really friendly staff. We had to work during the day in the common areas and they were well heated and comfortable. The staff even turned off the music at one point to help us concentrate! The free tea and coffee at reception were great

There was some confusion about the timing for the garage that I was a bit annoyed about - if you stay over 24 hours you get charge for 2 overnights which is frustrating, so bear it in mind if you are coming and going as we were - not the fault of the hotel

Helpful friendly staff. Immaculately clean. Comfortable. Loved having Chromecast on the tv so we could watch our own Netflix. Cosy bedroom slept really well both times I’ve stayed here. Secure parking close by.

I guess for safety you don’t have opening windows but I do miss real fresh air, despite the excellent air conditioning. I now know to bring my own hair towel as you don’t provide them, which I understand and makes sense from an eco point of view as probably most people wouldn’t want or need! I’d like to see a way to report the odd small maintenance thing like for example the soap dispenser wasn’t working (even though plenty of soap) but overall nothing not to like great place to stay and will book again

The hotel is nice, well-located, comfortable and has friendly, helpful staff. I liked that they had a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby for guests to use, including a couple of flavoured syrups. It was nice to grab a cup on the way back to the room. A small touch, but appreciated.

Parking at the multistory car park just along from the hotel was a bit of a pain initially as we had luggage when we arrived and couldn't immediately navigate our way through the shopping centre that's between the car park and hotel. However, after going back and forth a couple of times during our stay, we soon got our bearings and were fine with it after that. It's nice that the hotel can validate the parking, which reduces the price by half.

We loved all the decoration, it was themed on Leeds and Yorkshire. It was bright and colourful with lots of quirky fun details. The room and shared areas were very clean.

The breakfast was a big disappointment. The beans had a very strange taste ( they tasted like someone had added lots of tomato ketchup to them), there weren’t many choices for the cooked breakfast, the only eggs were scrambled, no mushrooms. There were waffles available but no syrup of any flavour to put on them, I would expect at least one syrup and a chocolate spread. There wasn’t any red jams available only marmalade.
