My room was spacious and, modern with ample storage space. The available lighting options very good indeed.Loved the shower room, which had a good shower and plenty of hot water. The whole place was very clean. The staff were exceptional, helpful, and warm, without being over the top. This hotel is undergoing refurbishment, I was in an updated room. There is a wonderful staircase, grandeur from another era. The restaurant is also beautiful. Location good, about a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street.I am a sole traveller and felt very safe in this hotel. I was able to leave my luggage, before check in. I recommend this hotel.

This of course is personal to me, but the lift was too small and a bit rattly. However I was able to use the stairs. It wasn't possible to eat there in the evenings, well not the nights I was there. The stair carpet needs a refurb, but I expect this is coming

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Professional throughout the stay, from Manager Martin, front of house and hospitality team. Room clean and cosy. Everything in there that you would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast superb. One of the best breakfasts that i have eaten during a stay anywhere. Fantastic value for money. Really nice vibe and beautiful building. Restaurant looks stunning with Christmas decorations. Great value for money right in the centre of Liverpool.

Couldn't reach the plug switch to turn the television on. However, this was very quickly rectified by Manager Martin who dealt with things professionally and couldn't do more to help. Issue resolved within minutes of mentionning.

The communication was good with hotel. I had lots of questions about if my friend could check in without me (he could) if parking was available (it was near by and got a voucher) and what if any driving restrictions/ low emissions zone etc there were in Liverpool, (none) so reservations team were excellent. Check in was smooth and I found the room clean and cozy. Bathroom clean and walk in shower with overhead rain shower hot! Towels clean and fresh every day. Coffee & tea making facilities good with biscuits. The weather was hot so asked for fan and delivery straight away. The best thing about the hotel were the staff, who were always friendly and helpful….. and funny! Breakfast/ bar lady’s are amazing. Location, location, location……. Perfect!

Found the room a little small. Rain shower head needed a clean as holes blocked. (I cleaned and worked fine) A little noisy at night but that’s to be expected with central location. Room could have had a fridge.

We were on the 3rd floor and on the day we booked in there was a very strong drain smell up there on the corridor. The hotel is undergoing renovation but this did not affect us. We didn't book breakfast until the morning but the staff were amenable and gave us the discount offer also. Service was very slow in the breakfast room but we put this down to us having booked late. The full English was just what we needed. The parking discount was great, it reduced the 24 hour ticket from £24 to £12.

Tea options in the room could have been better, my husband drinks decaf and I drink Earl Grey

Really loved the location, right in the heart of town, a quick walk in either direction for the Docks , Station, Theatre and shops, a super little hotel. Rooms were lovely, modern and well equipped (a smart tv, very well equipped tea making tray and even an iron and board in the room) Plenty of pillows and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff were all fantastic, friendly and attentive.

The mattress was a little disappointing but fine nevertheless. No towel rail in the bathroom and unfortunately no coat hooks at all in the room to hang anything up. We arrived in very wet weather and there was nowhere at all to hang a coat. The wardrobe was 3/4 height so also unable to accommodate the length of a dress so a mildly irritating problem and the room itself was lovely.

It was perfect from the moment i arrived, great location close to all the bars and restaurants and a car park on the next block which cost me £11 from 4pm to 9am. Shout out to the restaurant manager who i had a laugh with the next morning hung over to death with the other half and could not finish breakfast he will know who i am if he reads this (breakfast was lovely mate even tho we did not finish it) sorry again :-) sorry about the below what i did not like but i would still come back and stay again. I would have gave a 10/10 if it had air con and a brighter room just felt enclosed due to the dark paint so a 9 it is :-)

Room must have just been painted a day ago or somthing....... it was dark purple and i don't think it had even dried as all the walls was still sticky... there was signs about saying the hotel was under refurb so defo must have been recently. The room was small but with it being painted dark purple it was like it made the room look even more smaller, no air con on a roasting hot night was no good aswell sorry but id still come back and stay again so don't worry.

The room had been refurbished, very nicely done. Bed was very comfortable. Room facilities were very good. Beautiful building with outside seating. Perfect central location

Apart from one small hook on the bathroom door there were no towel rails or hooks. There were no shelves near the wash basin for toiletries, there was a small shelf above the toilet. It was extremely hot during our stay. The window only opened a little (safety reasons). No air conditioning. We asked at reception if it was possible to get a fan, they delivered one to our room

Beautiful huge room we were given as a free upgrade, it was huge and very much appreciated as I travelled for a break during treatment. Room was amazing, super comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom and superb location. Really central for exploring the city.

It was a couple of weeks before Christmas so seemed to be a lot of drinkers around - totally not the hotels fault at all but a drunk chap was adamant he wanted to get into our room in the early hours, obviously lost lol there was nothing in the room to tell us how to contact reception to sort it. I had to Google the phone number and ring, but they came instantly and sorted it and 100% not their fault. It was a little noisy from outside, pubs etc very close, but again time of year and wouldn't put us off coming again.

The building was beautiful! Big room not enough usb sockets in room we were in could do with usb sockets by bed especially with modern technology. Staff were amazing and very welcoming and helpful.

Personally I didn't like the colour of the room, didn't know that the hotel downstairs turned into a nightclub!😂 City life didn't stop until 6am so if you're looking for a quiet hotel this isn't for you or bring ear defenders :) No mirror Infront of a table it was to the side making it difficult to get ready sitting down. No AC or didn't work ? No fans

the room was clean and warm we liked the cocktails in the bar

didn't like the breakfast took over half an hour to arrive, I egg 1 table spoon of beans and the veggie sausages were disgusting. The toaster is too slow the bread was frozen and there wasn't any English breakfast tea bags only earl grey. The receptionist had a bad attitude when we told him about but, got the manager who was very professional and refunded our breakfast cost we couldn't use the t.v.
