Very practical room with coffee and tea facilities. Good amount of daylight and option of opening the window rather than having to use aircon. Excellent walk in shower.

The cleaning lady didn't speak anything except Romanian so didn't understand that I wanted the room cleaned but no new towels. The room wasn't cleaned and I got new towels...

Theres always a mix up with payment. We ordered in room breakfast so that we wont have to wake up too early and queue at the resto. But what happened was, we received an early morning call from the front desk, asking us to come down to settle the payment for the breakfast so that the breakfast will be brought to our room. I found this really rude. It was our first night and fees could have been settled during the day or during check out. Another not so good experience is the breakfast tray. After eating, we requested that the tray be picked up/tidied up but no one was getting it. We left 3 days later it is still in our room. We called everyday for pick up but we always get a yes response but no one came to pick it up. We request for cleaning of the room, the room ks regularly cleaned but they skip the table and breakfast tray.

From the moment we walked into Double Tree we were greeted with excellence. Staff were beautiful - we were even given a warm choc chip cookie on arrival. Facilities clean and modern. Room was definitely large enough for 2x adults and 1x child - we were sightseeing mostly so only used for recovery and rest. Our son's foldaway bed was good quality and comfy - all linen supplied very good quality. Location ideal - right beside Victoria station and coaches. 30min stroll to Buckingham Palace. Buffet breakfast was lovely and fresh every morning - dining room spacious.

I wasn’t happy with maid service. she was all the time knowing the door even I left a sigh Do not disturb. When I was going to have a breakfast the maid were entering into my room and was chrome personal belongings. I asked to extend my stay and they kicked me out literally out of the hotel with prepaid accommodation. the receptionist who were meeting me at the beginning wasn’t there at that time and others was very rude to me. I can’t recognize UK.

We were traveling back to London at Gatwick airport but needed to fly out from Heathrow airport. Was picking a midpoint without too much of transferring. This location is great as far as 1 stop from Gatwick to London Victoria. Hotel is right outside of the train station. One staff made us feel very welcoming. Talking to us and remembered us on the next day. So many customers a day and didn't think he would remember. The bed is comfortable. Crabtree products in the bathroom.

Personal preference: I'm the type that would wipe down with sanitizer wipes. However, the area shown on the picture didn't pass the wipe test. All changed to brown color but not black. The washroom doesn't have enough hooks to hang clothes. The flat surface provided was dusty. The wall area by the only hook was not clean. This washroom doesn't have the plug for the hairdryer. The check out time is 12pm but housekeeping knocked at our door before 11:30am told us 11am.

The staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful and we received a warm welcome on arrival. The restaurant has been refurbished and is bright and spotlessly clean. The hotel is very convenient for going across the road to Victoria train station when you have booked a trip on the British Belmond train. Our twin room was clean and comfortable with a fabulous view over Victoria Station but you don't hear the trains. Excellent sound proof windows. Very good breakfast- caters for all allergies including Gluten and Wheat Free and they have decaffeinated tea and coffee.

The only downside to our stay is our twin room had a bath with a shower over it. I have 2 total knee replacements, and I slipped and fell flat on my face while standing in the bath having a shower! I went down on both knees and hit my arm on the side of the bath. It was so dangerous. The bath had a steep slope at the top end away from the taps, so it was difficult getting in and out the bath for able bodied people, let alone disabled people like myself, as it is very high. There should be rooms with walk in showers clearly available for people like myself with disabilities.

Perfect location for exploring London. Professional and friendly staff throughout the hotel.. Excellent choice for Breakfast buffet.

Ok so there are refurbishments taking place in the foyer of the hotel,.. therefore there are temporary Reception and Breakfast areas being used. It was a bit of a shock as we didn't know this. We literally walked into the painters up ladders painting the lift lobby. Maybe an idea would be to inform travellers before they arrive. Having said that, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable..I don't think I have ever come across more helpful and genuine staff..so well done all.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was a doable walk from Victoria Coach Station while managing a very heavy suitcase and bag. The room was quiet, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable!

There was no one at the reception desk to take my key. Some kind of checkout process would have been good and some direction as to what to do with the card key would have been helpful, even an express checkout slipped under the door and the direction to leave the key in the room. Instead I had to guess what to do, leaving without checkout and putting my card key on the unoccupied reception desk.

Location is perfect for train and theater. The concierge was very helpful and friendly and invested in helping you out and being practical.

The room was for my wife and I but for some reason every time we went to breakfast we were told only 1 person in the room was able to have breakfast not 2 which was extremely weird to us and no one could explain why. Granted we both were finally able to eat but this was 4 mornings of having to explain we reserved a room for 2 with 2 breakfasts why would we only want 1? And 4 days of being told that they didn't know why. Also the room we reserved appears bigger in pictures.
