I love the rooms here, modern bathroom and a great size tv with so many channels to chose from, comfy bed and it is also quiet at the hotel.i have lost my voice at the moment and the staff know what to expect as I have been back a few times now and they are really helpful and friendly.

Only a very minor detail but a spoon would be nice for the tea and coffee also some glasses to drink out of

If you’re a solo traveler wanting to avoid sharing a room at a hostel but keep it still in a budget, this is your place! The room looks just like the in the property photos. Excellent location, 10’ walk from Buckingham Palace and 20’ from Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. The area is not super centric but still safe! Many other hotels in the same street. The room has everything you might need: several plugs, a hair dryer, an electric kettle, free coffee and tea which was a very nice to have!

The wifi didn’t work properly and I ended up using my own data. The plugs are to be checked, some are too loose and the charger falls down. I didn’t like having to pay 5£ extra to leave my luggage after check out, one to be improved tbh! But I still recommend it and will be back soon for a new stay :)

Although the family room - small double and single bed was small. The room was nicely decorated in grey tones and there was a blackout curtain which ensure we weren’t woken up to early. Although we were on the lower ground floor so that was unlikely, we did have a window which was nice. The double shower was excellent with hand wash and shower gel provided. Check-in was efficient and friendly (across the road). The hotel was ideally situated for Victoria bus station and Victoria tube station is probably nearer than Pimlico to the property. walking distance to Buckingham palace. You can feel the Tube trains travelling under the property but not too loud as too disturb sleep.

Vending machine was out of order, it would have been nice to have water available for guests Most of TV Chanel’s we’re not tuned in which was annoying. It was great to have a kettle in the room but would have preferred small mugs instead of cups and a choice of UHT milk preferably skimmed.

This hotel is such a good value for money. There were 4 of us travelling (2 couples with 2 rooms) we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacy and clean. The bathrooms were also a good size with amazing water pressure in the showers. The rooms came with complimentary teas and coffees and clean towels. Dont be put off by the hotel not having the reception on site, It's literally only across the road and was so easy to sort out. The hotel it's self also felt very safe.

The only negatives I'd say about this hotel is the beds were on the hard side but wasn't unbearable. And also you can hear the trains quite bad at night.

Great hotel in a great location, less than 10 minute walk to London Victoria train and coach station, and plenty of bus options nearby. You can easily walk to Buckingham palace and Westminster in 20 minutes. Plenty of food options in the area as well. Room was lovely and modern but small, as are most hotels in London - was perfect for a solo traveller but would be cramped for two people.

Staff were lovely but there were language barriers which caused issues when asking for assistance. The hotel advertises in the room that they can assist with airport transfers, however when I asked about this I was given directions to the Gatwick express train. That wasn’t what I was asking, and trying to reframe the question had no success. You need to ask for the WiFi password and they rattle it off so quickly you need them to repeat it. It would be great to have it listed in the room

We recently stayed at this hotel and had an enjoyable experience overall. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the room was clean and well-maintained. However, we did find the bathroom a bit cramped, with the sink positioned very close to the toilet, making it difficult to sit comfortably. Despite this minor inconvenience, we appreciated the hotel’s amenities and convenient location. With a few adjustments to the bathroom layout, this would be an even more comfortable stay.

Well location is everything and this is a fabulous location! Really cute cafe - Rochester Café – just a few minutes walk away with fabulous lunches, and a a great traditional Sunday roast dinner at a pub (the Queen's Arms?) just a block or two further along. and of course it's very close to attractions like Westminster Abbey and the like. I also love the fact that the window opened and, combined with a good air circulation system and a comfy bed, made for a good sleep

It is very tiny but it's as advertised and it was perfect for one traveller

I didn't like my room being on the lower ground floor. There is no mention in the advertising of the regular noise of nearby underground trains.

Easy access to Victoria Coach station. Compact room but had everything you needed. Beautiful shower. Most comfortable bed I have stayed in. Very quiet location and hotel. Requested extra pillows and these were bought to our room. The housekeeping lady was delightful on our check out, very happy, polite and singing. Looks can definitely be deceptive with this property, but if you need somewhere central to stay without bells and whistles, I would definitely recommend it.

Reception wasn’t very professional looking so I had my doubts but these were overcome by the room. No disabled access or facilities. Toilet seat was loose and a crack in the shower floor but this didn’t detract from the value for money. Bath towels on the small side and could do with a glass in the bathroom as only had 2 cups in the room.

Based on reviews TBH wasn't expecting much. Glad to say the reviews were no where near accurate. First impressions were deceiving as entrance and staircases/halls to rooms are small. However once in the room every thing was clean, fairly modern and essentials catered for. Accommodation was very good value for money given the location. Room was exactly as described and perfect for one or two nights stay. All the essentials you'd need for somewhere to stay for the night were met, if all you need is somewhere to sleep at the end of a day. Comfortable bed, plenty of storage, TV, excellent shower. Perfect air conditioner, not too noisy, not too cold but enough for a comfortable nights sleep in recent heatwave. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk to hand - more than enough for several cups in evening and morning too. Not too noisy. Checkout was easy and quick. Staff friendly. Wasn't expecting meals or breakfast as plenty of choice in surrounding area, all of which were easily in walk distance. Perfect for access to all TFL transport hubs.

If I had to remark on anything it would be the sound of underground trains passing through, but this was very brief and quite dull - soon got used to it and didn't prevent me from sleeping well.
