The location was great, not as far away from the tube as I first thought. The bed was really comfortable. I liked the technology in the room.

The sink kept chocking... The toilet bath area was too small... Even though I'm petite in size, I still felt that it was tight. 1 more thing that was quite upsetting - the housekeeper did not put the shopping bag in my room, hence after I checked-out, I received an additional charge for the bag that I did not take. Good thing was the staff who picked up my call was really quick to attend to the situation and did a refund immediately.

The Eccleston Square Hotel was in a fantastic location in London. We were able to walk to many of the popular sites and also get buses from Victoria Station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very clean with a good amount of space and great amenitites including complimentary tea. We would absolutely stay here again upon returning to London.

We can't think of anything that we did not really like about our stay at the Eccleston Square. It really felt like a home away from home while in London.

The location is great, and the rooms, although small, were very comfortable. Having access to the Eccleston Square garden was a big plus. The staff were very accommodating.

The food at breakfast wasn’t the greatest.

The hotel is well located just a 10 minute walk to Victoria station. Our room had an amazing massaging bed and a great view over the greenery of Eccleston square. The room though compact was comfortable and full of gadgets such as electric curtains and plenty of control panels to play around with although the random glow of the LED displays were annoying at night when they lit up for no reason. One night we were disturbed by noisy guests in the middle of the night in the room above but the reception staff were very understanding when we complained about it. It was interesting to see Winston Churchill lived in the building for some time

Soundproofing could be improved

The safe in our original room did not work and we were immediately given a new room which was an upgrade. This had a small balcony but made a difference as the room was small, as is typical in this area of London.

The room we were originally assigned was the same size as the upgrade however it had a window only rather than the door for the balcony upgrade. This window did not open. with the door we were able to have some fresh air.

wonderful location close to Victoria station and some great restaurants close by. rooms were quiet and well appointed.

There is a very strong fragrance in the hotel lobby ( strong air freshener); for those of us with allergies and asthma, it was quite overwhelming. no mirrors in the actual bedroom with access to a plug for the hairdryer. No plug in the bathroom where the mirror is.

Room decor and comfort were lovely. Loved the toiletries. Being able to use Eccleston Square Gardens was a huge bonus. Massage beds were very comfortable and very relaxing. Plenty of power sockets etc. Really enjoyed using the balcony overlooking the gardens. Staff very helpful and welcoming even though we inadvertently checked in early!

Very poor in-room tea & coffee offering - no tea in the room & only 3 coffee pods (leaving a couple fighting over who gets the second coffee!) unless you're prepared to pay for extra. 4 sugars, 2 milk portions and 1 sweetener - again, not enough for a 24 hour period. Did not like the paper cups and disposable stirrers in the room. Given the price of the room, it all seemed very mean. We would much rather have had a plentiful supply of coffee than an unwatchable TV in the shower room.

The hotel is located in a very calm area, within 8 mn from Victoria station and tube (District and Circle lines). Easy to find little cafés and restaurants in the area. Very comfortable place.

Everything in the room is controlled with small digital screens on the wall : quite difficult when you are past 60 y-old to understand how it works, and therefore to close the curtains, put off the lights, or change the air-conditioning.

The Hotel was super lovely, location for us is key as we tend to go to London fairly often to see friends. As they have relocated to this area we had to find a new hotel to stay in when visiting. We found it!

There was nothing not to like. But perhaps if I was staying for longer, I would need a bigger room. But for 1 night or a weekend stay, this is perfect cosidering we spent 6 hours in the room.
