The location was close to Victoria station and the area was clam and safe. the small lobby was pleasant and the breakfast (included in our stay) was varied, including optons for hot breakfast (full English, eggs Benny, avo toast, truffled Mushrooms on Scrambled egg with bread play some sweet options) as well as a cold buffets with overnight oats, yogurts, fruits, toast, pastries boiled eggs etc. The Harry Potter expérience included an additional breakfast menu with a couple other hot breakfast options, some special coins that could be traded in for snacks at reception plus all of the HP books and DVDs to watch if we wanted to borrow them from reception. We also paid for the HP themed afternoon tea which came with a small pot of dry ice over which we were to pour boiling water to watch it steam but otherwise standard tea fare and underwhelming desserts. An alternate wizarding tea - Cutter & Squidge - The Potion Room, Soho was better IMHO.

Our first room was up 6 flights of steep stairs with no elevator. We switched to a Harry Potter room which was in a dark, atmospheric basement with no window but a door leading to a small dank outdoor space. The decor was appropriate but we were woken up every night around 3am by scrapping and rolling and banging from above (we were right under réception). They did apologize and refund the difference from the "upgrade". I thought this was quite an ingenious way to charge extra for less desirable basement rooms... try it for 1 night if that's your thing but I don't recomment these rooms for longer stays.

Geographical location, Very good breakfast and the Wizard Potion activity, a must do if you are traveling with kids.

I was very nice small hotel, 5 minutes from Victoria station. Staff were nice and helpfull. Room was nice and cosy, big and comfy bed. Bathroom small but nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious, even though we only had continental. I wanted room on the lower floor and they gave me one on second floor, so it was great communication with reception. I would definitely stay here again.

Maybe some minifridge would be nice. Even though we turned on the heating, it was quite cold in the room in the evening and in thr bathroom wasn't any heating, so it was cold there too (on September). Afterall we had great stay.

Loved the whole experience. The staff were very welcoming and made our stay magical! We had some great surprises, and the breakfast was lovely. The atmosphere there was perfect for a wizard experience and I'd definitely recommend this experience to any fellow wizards out there. Also... I have to say the beds were extremely comfy!

The only thing I could say was that there was a little bit of wear and tear in areas when it came to the wallpaper in the dorm we stayed in. This is me being a perfectionist, but I absolutely loved my time at the Georgian House Hotel and it was one of the cosiest hotels I've ever stayed in!

I travel a lot and have been working in the hotel business for over 25 years - I have never seen such cleanliness anywhere! the hotel deserves the highest praise - for absolutely everything!!! the staff are the best, any question or request was resolved instantly - both in the dining room and at the reception!!!! Now I know that my every trip to London will be amazing, because I will feel like home. Please say hello to Tina - the waitress in the dining room!

Loved how how it was to the station and how easy to access a taxi or walk locally. The property is lovely and well maintained. The staff is what would bring me back again! They are top-notch, very helpful and very friendly.

While we loved the “Harry Potter” experience with our granddaughters, we could have used a bit more lighting. Our eyesight isn’t great and downstairs it’s even darker. The bathroom was positively dark for us! Maybe change the light switches to the knobs where you can up the lighting? If the building codes allow it, or put up “tap” battery lights in the shower so we can see? Just thoughts. Our granddaughters were over the moon which mattered most to us! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable!

Thin walls and creaky floorboard from above. You could hear people walking about above you when in bed (not hotels fault that we experienced people above who seemed to do a lot of walking around their room late at night and early morning, then slammed door and ran downstairs) thin walls you could hear fan and shower from next room. I am a light sleeper. Just be aware of this if you are too.

Love this property. The second time we have stayed. Reasonable price for the heart of London. Clean rooms and very welcoming staff. Tea and coffee in the room and ironing facilities on request. The hotel states there isn’t a lift and there are quite a few stairs to climb if you’re on upper floors. However, the staff are very accommodating if this is an issue. We had a disabled member in our group so the hotel receptionist made sure they had a ground floor room. They helped my elderly parents with their luggage too making sure everything was taken to their rooms. It is definitely our go-to hotel when visiting London.

Unfortunately no air conditioning so it can get quite warm/stuffy in summer.

Wonderful stay! Quiet street, close to train station but out of the way. Loved how we could walk to so much and of our feet were tired, Victoria station was so close. My young adult daughters and I shared a room with two double beds and our friend had an adorable single room next door. Both had private baths. Beautifully decorated and appointed, comfy beds, delightful staff. Breakfast in Pimlico Pantry was a delicious and easy way to start our days. Loved the tea and biscuits in the room as well. Dinner at O Sole Mio a few blocks away was a favorite for our group.

The style of the hotel and the location. Once you find out the quickest way from Victoria station it is a nice, short and safe walk to the hotel. Continental breakfast was far better than expected (including overnight oats and a good variety of fresh fruits, tea & juice served at the table). Super friendly staff.

We knew that there would be no lift but where underestimating how strenous it can be to reach the last floor by foot after a long day out in London walking. So would definitely ask for a room at the lower floors next time. The bathroom door was only a sliding door that was not actually completely shutting the bathroom from the rest of the room. We couldn't open the windows which was okay in March with low temperatures but might be more of a problem with higher temperatures.
