The room was cosy and clean, bigger than many rooms at other hotels for which we would have paid a similar price. The bathroom and the bed were big enough for me, having in mind that I am 2 m (6'6'') tall and I was together with my wife. The hotel makes really nice gestures for its customers – there was a water dispenser and empty water bottles on each floor; in addition to the promised coffee and tea which you can get every time of the day, for breakfast you could grab a croissant and a healthy sweet bar although we hadn't paid for breakfast. Another thing that made a huge impact on our impression of the hotel was the folllowing: we arrived earlirer, around 12 pm and the staff (who were really warm and friendly all the time) was kind enough to let us check in into our room for free (the room was not occupied at that time); on leaving, we were allowed to leave our luggage so we could have a last walk around the city before our flight.

Everything was perfect except the view which was towards another building. However, it is not the hotel's fault – I suppose that you have to pay more in order to be sure that you will receive a room with a good view, or you have to rely on your luck,

Would like better facilities for hanging clothes in room. Just hangers to use existing pens would have been great. When you arrive & are in a rush you just drape clothes over the chair. When you arrive back in it’s late & your tired. Think it is something that should just be there.

The hotel was well laid out with a small but functional reception area. There was a free coffee machine and canned drinks available in the fridge, and a workspace and tv area. Via a connecting door was a Wetherspoons which appeared to be in an old banking hall. Our room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed and toiletries provided. It was compact but functional with a microwave and a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. At the end of the corridor on each floor was a water dispenser and free refillable bottles. The location was central - a very short walk from Bank Station.

The best part of the hotel is location.. Both monument and bank stations are minutes walk away. However, since this is a location where most of the offices are so we had a difficult time finding restaurants open on a weekend. Staff is polite and humble.

First we were given room 830 in which we stayed one night but had issues with room Air conditioning and toilet flush so we were moved to 801 next day. This room was pretty comfortable except the fact that TV was hardly working. It was a smart TV but still could not be connected to netflix or YouTube. They tried with different technicians but couldn't help. One of the technician mentioned that they already know there is an issue with TV. So it was disappointing that they have not tried to fix or replace it. When I write with such detail, it seems like it was a huge issue but to he honest we stayed 5 nights and the stay overall was pretty comfortable. So unless someone is like me who really likes TV entertainment, there is literally nothing to fuss about..

The room was described as 'small' but it was a good size. The bed was Queen size with a very comfortable firm mattress. The shower was good with very hot water. Adequate wardrobe space for a short stay. Free coffee in reception but biscuits would have been nice :) Free filtered water with empty bottles on every floor. No towelling robes but ample towels provided. Excellent central location. Very good value for money.

Location was fantastic, staff were really helpful and friendly, check in and check out were super quick, good size room

The phone wasn't plugged in properly and I had to try to reach behind the desk joinery to fix it (super difficult), some of the outlets didn't work, and the shower was clogged so I couldn't shower for very long without the shower floor filling up with water. No mini fridge.

The hotel provided free snacks, breakfasts, tea coffee and WINE! The room was a good size. The location was excellent, very near 2 multi-line tube stations and the river. Their restaurant was closed for refurbishment so they sent us next door to the Wetherspoon for our prepaid breakfast. The food was tasty but only just warm enough to eat so disappointing.

The air conditioning only just did the job. Only one lift was working and it was very slow

6th floor, clean room on arrival with good air-con hot/cold which you could also turn-off completely for a very quiet night's sleep. Bed was very comfortable but we also walked a lot both days so slept very well. Room had hair-dryer. Bathroom good power shower and bedroom adequate for central City London - near Tower Bridge end.

No wardrobe! We still couldn't find it when we left two days later - how can there be no hangers or cupboard storage? So we used the floordrobe instead. Towels and coffee/teas not replaced or changed - apparently if you call reception they will but come on.....

Everything, we didn’t have a single fault!! Staff were lovely and so welcoming there was so many nice touches that no other hotels think of!! Myself and my partner have stayed in many hotels around london and this was better than all of them, the complimentary hot drinks and water stations throughout the hotel is a very nice touch! Lobby is peaceful and cozy, rooms were comfy and spacious with everything we needed and more! We will no doubt be staying here again!

Location excellent for numerous attractions - Borough Market, The Tower of London, River Thames, Tate Modern. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Tube stations a few minutes walk away. The room was very comfortable, clean and the shower was very powerful. A good size room with enough hanging space for us. Free tea and coffee, as well as a few breakfast items in the reception area.
