Location was excellent for our purpose with beautiful views. Staff were excellent and extremely friendly and helpfull. Food was extremely good with good portions. Would definately use this hotel again.would recommend it to others.

We were a party of five with 3 rooms. The only downside was that one couple and a sigle lady were allocated rooms in the Annexe which meant leaving the main building and negotiating unlit stone steps to reach our rooms. Although clean with nice views across the golf course and sea, the rooms were very clean but in need of updating to the modern standard of the double room in the main building .The single room was very small and turned out to be very cold overnight. Comfy beds however made up for this followed up by excellent breakfasts.

I have stayed at this hotel on about 5 occasions. The location of the hotel is very good with fabulous views across the Moray Firth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have tea and coffee making facilities. On this occasion, I didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast is very good and suits me very much with what i like to eat on a morning. This hotel is extremely good and is well placed near the golf course in Lossiemouth.

The shower was not very powerful and took a while to get hot.

Single room but very spacious and extremely clean, comfy bed and sea view was gorgeous. The biscuits and water in the room in addition to usual tea/coffee was a great extra. Staff were accommodating, warm and friendly, nothing too much bother. Booked meals for night and the food, although a bit of a wait one of the nights, was well worth it.

bathroom was on the small side and lacked space for some of my toiletries but didn’t bother me as only stayed 2 nights.

the location, the staff, and the food were all amazing. the staff were always about to help, answering questions and advising on places to visit. the room was cleaned everyday. overall we had a fabulous time.

the bathroom was a little tired but still in working order so no problem we had a neighbour that could not speak quietly and the walls are quite thin but I did pick up a few tips from her so not too bothered. the drive to the car park needs attention desperately as there are a few holes to loose your car in. there was a skip in the car park that was loosing a little of its load that needed to be emptied.

What can I say ! This Hotel / Restaurant has to be one of the best places to stay and dine at, staff just can not do enough for you, evening meals are fabulous with a few specials also to be had, and breakfast was also excellent, rooms are lovely clean. It was my wife’s birthday while we were staying here, we went out for the day and when we returned to our room there was a box of chocolates and a birthday card on our bed for my wife. I would just like to say a big thank you to Rona and her chef daughters for making our stay a wonderful experience, and we will be returning.

Absolutely nothing

Having spent a fair amount of time stopping overnight in Lossiemouth and staying in most of the hotels there, I can now say I've found my favourite. The most amazing beach views and sunsets, private parking, golf course literally on the doorstep, bar/restaurant, the super friendly and happy staff to the lovely immaculate bedroom and fabulous bed and with loads of plug sockets and USB sockets(a must for most people)

A nice full length mirror in the room would be nice, ideal place is beside the beautiful fancy looking chair ;) That's all I could fault!

We didn’t have breakfast it was a bit expensive for us that’s the only thing we were disappointed about We went for dinner and it was lovely The staff were very friendly and helpful The room was lovely and the view was lovely

I was there as I used to live in the area and knew about the stunning views. I had two dinners there and both were excellent. The staff in general were friendly and helpful.

Considering the nature of the place and the price, it fully met my expectations. I'm sure some will think The Golf View is a good name but it was and always will be the Skerry Brae to me.

The breakfast offered a good selection cooked to order and friendly staff serving it. We also had an evening meal which again was freshly made and served well. The accommodation was very good comfortable and a spectacular view from the window. Disappointed that there was not a bin in the bathroom but apart from that a very enjoyable stay.

Location and view were excellent. Spacious room and view from room was stunning. Bed really comfortable and I would highly recommend.

Had dinner first night we stayed I can’t complain about mine soup and steak pie was lovely. The only issue we had over the few days was the chicken burger my wife had, it looked amazing but was really tough around the edges and way over cooked.
