The staff were very friendly, polite and very approachable. Happy to help in anyway. The cooked breakfast was lovely. The room (8) was very comfortable and roomy. Bed especially comfortable. No faults Stayed there before (2012) and just as good

Casual atmosphere, staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms well kept and cosy. Nice breakfast with local produce, very clean hotel, and peaceful surroundings. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from Lyndhurst village, nice places to eat/drink ( La Pergola restaurant 3 minute walk for great Italian food )

Main road has a noisy surface ( but rooms double glazed ). Nothing else was an issue.

The hotel was easy to find in a delightful little town, with access to walking tracks just across the road so you can go to see the New Forest ponies. The staff were very helpful, the room was bigger than we expected which was great, and it was very comfortable and clean. We dined at the hotel for an evening meal and breakfast, both were ok but not breaking any culinary records. Overall, it was fine though.

As we were on the ground floor (very convenient) there was a room above us and the floorboards squeaked. The occupants upstairs got up a lot so it was a busy night!!

Very friendly staff, eager to help out. Convenient location - in Lyndhurst, but on the edge so a bit quieter. Good provision for bikes and for cyclists (the reason I was there).

Poor soundproofing in the room. I did have an issue with loud guests in a neighbouring room keeping me awake on one night. The staff were understanding and sympathetic and gave me a discount. They also thanked me for the feedback as they have some refurbishment plans coming up.

Very friendly and flexible staff, good cooked breakfast and comfortable, spacious room. We travelled with two dogs (spaniels) and was plenty of space for all of us without feeling clustered. Convenient location just outside Lyndhurst, free parking. The weather was horrible around check out time and let us stayed for a bit longer FOC.

We were expecting a large hot tub in the bathroom, but it was a normal size hydro massage bathtub. Still modern, clean and enjoyable, but the hot tub offer was the main reason we chose this place. It didn't spoilt our stay, but it would have been nice.

We did not have breakfast. The location was excellent for exploring and it was right across the road to the New Forest Centre and the town was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We had a dog with us and we were welcome everywhere

Breakfast was outstanding as was the evening meal. Location was bang on for us.

The television signal could have been a lot better as we needed to call for help with that. A bit run down and could do with an update, But besides that the food, cleanliness and staff were amazing 👏.

Probably the largest hotel bedroom we've ever stayed in! Nice and clean with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom very spacious too and shower worked very well with good water pressure.

It's hard to be negative as this was a lovely place to stay. We had a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning but it would have been nice to have had a choice of cereal as an addition.

I received a very warm welcome on arrival. Good size airy room with a comfortable bed. Lovely walk-in shower. Great hospitality tray in room and a sensible size television. Good breakfast. This is my go to hotel when visiting family.

The stairs are quite steep, however there are handrails on either side of the staircase.
