Hotel was conveniently located for the purpose of the stay, with a good outlook across the Forest (albeit limited from the room). The room itself was adequate for a short stay. Reception was efficient and engaging giving a sense of being welcomed. Hotel was quiet. Pleased with the provision of bottled water every day.
A mediocre fan was the only means provided to combat a heat retaining room. Meals were provided in the adjoining building within the complex, but via external access, so good job it wasn't raining. Service here was not as good as in the hotel.

Beautiful location, staff always friendly and helpful, breakfast choice good . Lounges kept lovely and welcoming.
Stairways could be kept better, I.e hoovered , rooms need a bit of tlc, just a lick of paint here and there . The evening menu in the Drift pub seriously needs amending , virtually all burgers apart from steak or fish and chips!!!! Can’t imagine older people eating burgers , and specials is a constant steak and ale pie which isn’t even home made !! If keeping costs down pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, sausage and mash all easy and cheap . Staff seem to where many hats they pop up in all different locations including reception, bars and waiting on tables , although they do an amazing job fair play to them .

Quality of restaurant food - 10/10. Staff and management - 10/10 (Faye - sorry don't know how to spell the name - was extraordinary helpful and welcoming, rare place has staff like that, it's a game changer). Very nice room, well decorated, comfortable, good size, very tidy and clean. Oh and the location! oMG. And I am a proper Karen, seriously, I am super selective and fussy guest. But oh my what a beautiful location, horses, bunnies, donkeys... Exceptionally beautiful there.
So it's a little loud. I get it, older buildings are difficult to soundproof, but I felt as if I watched TV together with the next door room guests. Earplugs/headphones sorted it for me so not a biggie. I might have just been tired. And my room was pretty much above/infront the kitchen so fans and all that... But it got quiet before midnight.

Location fantastic. Friendly reception staff and staff in the adjoining pub. Very dog friendly !
Said hello to cleaning staff both days and got ignored on all occassions. They looked fed up and did not even smile. Breakfast in the adjoining pub was okay but full cooked breakfast only offered one sausage, one bacon, one egg, one tomato and one black pudding. We had to ask for plates and cups as went in at 9am and all had been used. As it is a very old pub floor boards very noisy which woke my wife up when i made trips to the loo in the night. Spoke to receptionist who said "we get that complaint quite a lot"

I read the bad reviews and was worried, but wanted a pool for the children and there weren't many options so I took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised, the hotel is very pretty. The room was pretty dated and basic, but the communal areas are cosy and lovely. It had a boutique country hotel vibe. Pool is a bit old and drab, but fine. Served a purpose! Overall we had a lovely time
The restaurant next door is very average, decor isn't nice, table for breakfast was unclean and breakfast buffet is unattended and looks stale and unkept. I liked the bar at the hotel though, it's a much nicer place to sit.

Room was as expected - bed huge and very comfortable - and pillows were good too. Slept well. Bathroom big and shower (over bath) was nice and powerful Food was nice - breakfast very good. Staff were polite
Don't really like shower curtains and as bath was a bit narrow it was a bit clingy. Restaurant staff could have checked a bit more for items running out on the self service table at breakfast - plates/bowls/fruit/yoghurt etc but replenished quickly when requested Bit shocked at the price of drinks

Good location for visiting Beaulieu museum nice and rural with walks near by good for seeing new forest horses / donkeys etc. room was good size and clean ,excellent shower
Breakfast was overcooked as the bacon black pudding etc had been under heat lights too long .evening menu was not that good as much of the items were sold out. The swimming pool was also closed.

The hotel is peaceful and relaxed with lovely decor. The lounge areas are so comfortable and welcoming- even as a solo traveller, I felt instantly at home. The bed was super comfortable too. The location is outstanding with amazing views over the moors. Good value for money too!
It’s a small thing, but I felt both of the rooms I have stayed in didn’t quite match the communal lounge areas in terms of contemporary style. A little sprucing up needed maybe to fix holes in the bathroom flooring, sealant round the bath etc…?

Beaulieu hotel is set in a stunning location in the heart of the New Forest, with Ponies & Donkeys welcoming you at the gate! It was a very quiet & peaceful setting, with good facilities. The staff were welcoming & friendly, & the reception & lounge areas well decorated. Beds were comfy too.
The room itself could do with a bit if a Re-furb. Whilst it was clean & comfortable, the carpet was stained, the walls marked & I would not value it at the £179 a night that we paid.

Generally our experience was excellent; great staff and nice breakfast too. The location was good as it enabled us to walk and drive to other spots in the New Forest and its a short distance to Beaulieu Village as well as Lymington Port to take a ferry to the Isle of Wight. Finally, I forgot my mac laptop and ebook after checking out; a staff member found it and reported it to the reception to be collected. Would recommend a visit
Just one thing that did not meet my expectation; we were provided with a baby cot and we knew we had to bring our own bedding, however, there was no mattress for the cot and we ended up asking for additional blanket to use as a mattress, but eventually ended up not using the cot at all due to risk.
