Breakfast good but not enough staff in the restaurant. Plates not cleared away between courses. Didn't appreciate being told we could only sit on the upper level. When we insisted on sitting on the lower level the sour faced waitress was very moody and we felt like naughty children the whole meal.
Not enough hangers in the wardrobe and could definitely do with hooks in the bathroom. The amount of noise morning and night was awful. Very creaky floorboards above us which was to be expected but they sounded like they route marched backwards and forwards for at least an hour each time. Possibly builders. Possibly better to put builders in one section and everyone else away from them. I had asked for a decent upstairs room which I didn't get. Considering how quiet the hotel was I do think we might have been allocated better. This however would not put me off staying again. This was our 3rd stay at the hotel and we just love the place and surroundings.

Stunning hotel, in beautiful grounds. Very handy if you have an event at Mallory Park as we did as it is only a max 10 minute drive away. The little town of Market Bosworth is walkable from the property. We didn’t get chance to try the spa facilities as weren’t able to stay longer than the night of sleep but the photo’s look lovely - entry to the spa facilities are charged though, even if you are staying overnight.
As we were late getting to the hotel because we had been at an event we couldn’t get any food. The bar had also closed for bar snacks which was unlucky. Wifi is all chargeable in the room - no free time period which would be nice. Due to the temperature the room was very hot - we were lucky though and when we called to reception and asked for a fan they brought one straight up to us.

Facilities are lovely. Beautiful old building with grounds to explore. Nice spa with pool, steam room and sauna for a very reasonable cost. Even when the bar was closed, you could buy drinks from the lovely night staff on reception, who agreed that the prices were exorbitant, and no objection was made for us to drink or own drink on the premises.
One of our party went for breakfast which we expected to cost £12. He was told the cost was £14, and when that was challenged, they dropped the cost to £10! The girl behind the bar during lunch period on 6th April was sullen and resentful, bordering on rude. I'd gone to great trouble before the stay to have late check out agreed, and this was checked once again, and agreed upon arrival. Yet "the system" hadn't been updated, so there was a contra temps on the morning of check out. The rooms are not serviced during the stay, which you'd expect for the price. Room 152 is beside a corridor fire door which constantly bangs, which, during the night caused disturbed sleep, and was very annoying during the day.

I was fortunate enough to arrive later only to find the room I had booked through Booking .com, a Double room with single occupancy, was not available due to an over booking situation. The receptionist who was already under pressure for the number of guests booking in was both friendly and professional and then allocated me to the Surrey Suite for the night. This has convinced me that this is a hotel of 'two halves', the 3*+ coaching/contractors hotel and then the 5* luxury Wedding and Events Venue. I have experienced three rooms now and the range of quality is wide but in all cases is very reasonably priced. The cleanliness of the rooms is exceptional even when staying in standard rooms, if the furniture in these rooms is a little tired and often random, as if added to over the years.without co-ordination. The Surrey suite is clearly an executive suite and I suspect used for Wedding's or special events but I was delighted to be able to enjoy this room and sorry to have to leave it this morning.

Great value for money when booked with breakfast and evening Meal. Food was good 3 course meal and a buffet style breakfast with everything from hot to cold choices. Was given a voucher for a bottle of wine for partners birthday which was a really nice gesture.
Cant check in until 16:00. Booked a large double room and still wasn't ready at check in time ( must be short staffed) but they kindly upgraded us to an executive double with great views. The health suite could do with an upgrade especially locker rooms as most the lockers were broken. Only one side of the hot tub jets were working. Generally needs some attention to bring it back to former glory.

This is a beautiful old manor house in gorgeous grounds. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent value for money. We were given a room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise and our room was very nice, clean, warm and with a lovely view over the gardens. The hotel is very dog-friendly and there are lovely walks available from straight from the doorstep. All in all we felt it was excellent value for money and we had a very pleasant stay.
Our only negative would be that the mattresses need replacing. They are very firm, despite having 2 mattress toppers and because of this the beds were not very comfortable.

The room was well equipped and warm and the bed comfy, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. the staff were really helpful offering additional tea from reception and even extended my checkout by an hour as I was still waiting for a lift back, your car can be added to their system to avoid parking costs which we appreciated. The price of the room was excellent and reflects that the rooms are slightly tired.
We really enjoyed our stay on the whole but would have appreciated a wider selection for breakfast with other offers besides just the 14GBP breakfast buffet which is quite expensive. Also, to make the stay more modern, complimentary WiFi would be appreciated.

location & historical feel to it & immediate area. nice leisure facilities too.
we arrived late from an event (after midnight) and requested extension of checkout. this cost £15 extra to move from 10am to midday. Room only cost £55 so disappointed not less or even free like many hotels apply. we also asked options to extend a further night. Booking showed 3 rooms available but reception said no availability and Booking always over book them. I wondered what they would have done if I had booked again via Booking but we reluctantly checked out instead. 🙁

hot powerful showers and good bed/pillows, heaters work, great little well set up gym. staff in reception/gym/restaurant really lovely people. evening meals are top notch and plenty of it to choose from.
breakfast is poor to say the least. very poor if I’m honest and reviews are about that right. how can you cremate bacon everyday eggs are terrible so I switched to the scrambled , well the pics show what I mean. I’m in sales, face to face so I can read people and listen intently to people. older people don’t write reviews of complaint but they should because this chef quite obviously just does not care. I’m a regular and I’m not saying anything here I wouldn’t say to his face. poor old pensioners who frequent this place deserve better as do we all. rant over

I like absolutely everything. this hotel is a beautiful mansion set in the middle of a park and woodland. It is elegant, spacious, very comfortable and the staff were absolutely fantastic. It was one of the coldest winter weekends with below zero temperatures, and our room was really warm with an adjustable radiator. There was even an extra electric radiator in the cupboard but we did not need to use it. There were ironing board and iron in the room. Lovely bar and restaurant. Historic mansion and breathtaking surroundings
nothing, everything was perfect
