The breakfast was excellent. Alison asked us the night before what we'd like for breakfast and was even able to include some vegetarian sausages (although I had forgotten to mention this in advance). The building is a lovely old (mid 1800s) and characterful house with spacious rooms and excellent ensuite facilities. The Rose room had a huge bed, a chair and sofa and even a chair in the bathroom. Coffee and tea facilities are provided in the rooms. There is off-road parking for a few cars right next to the house. The area is very quiet and peaceful and the Icknield Way passes right outside.

We haven't stayed at B & B for years after a bad experience but this restored our confidence. It's a beautiful quiet spot and Alison went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable, helping us out with cab numbers and even letting us check in a bit early to change into our wedding outfits. Breakfast was really good and relaxing. If we find ourselves needing to stay that way again we will definitely be staying there

The farmhouse is a lovely old building in a great rural location. It was very clean & the host was very friendly & welcoming.

The room we stayed in had a rather small double bed, but could quite easily have taken a bigger one. A blackout blind at the windows would have been a good idea. The breakfast was adequate; cereals, fry-up & toast. There were no yoghurts, fruit or pastries on offer & the bacon was half fat.

Alison, the host, was delightful and accommodated our request to arrive much earlier so as to be able to change clothes before heading off to a family funeral. She also put in an extra bed as requested. The bedrooms are large and charming, the beds large and comfortable with crisp cotton linen. We enjoyed the home cooked full English breakfast. A great, lucky find!

What a gem!! The Church Farmhouse B&B is simply stunning and is situated in an idyllic location. Alison's attention to detail and desire to ensure guests have a first class experience is evident throughout, from the quality of the bedding to the ingredients at breakfast. If you want to feel welcomed and comfortable then the Church Farmhouse is perfect.

This is a beautiful peaceful farmhouse with a friendly welcome and every comfort. Super cosy beds and bathroom. Awoke to bird song, which is always nice. In a cul de sac so no through traffic. Delicious breakfast.

Quiet, private, spacious bedroom & bathroom with a hot & powerful shower, plenty of clothes space & electric sockets in useful places

It was a little cold but that was a minor problem easily solved

Rose room is lovely! Breakfast very tasty and more than enough! Alison is so helpful-even gave us the key to the local church so we could have a look inside!

Nothing-the rooms and farmhouse are lovely. Village is quiet-there is a pub nearby in the next village with a very friendly landlady too!

Alison is a friendly, welcoming host. Breakfast was great and timing flexible. Good facilities and a nice balance of privacy. Parking was spacious and easy to access.

Alison was a fantastic host. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. She's thought of everything you could possibly need. The farmhouse is located in a beautiful, quiet village. We had a very pleasant stay, a great night's sleep and a fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend.
