The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My autistic son has a very basic diet. They were happy for me to bring his own cereal into the restaurant and provided me with fresh milk. They also made up bread and butter sandwiches for him at minimal cost. They were very helpful.

Only a minor grumble, and that's because there's no on site parking. But, there's plenty of car parks in Minehead only a short distance away, and the walk back to the car helps burn off the lovely breakfasts they provide.

Good central location, clean comfortable room, excellent shower, tea & coffee making facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly and there was the usual excellent value Weatherspoons breakfast available. I had a single room which, although small, was totally adequate and the bathroom was a good size.

There is no parking at the Hotel, but there is free parking on residential roads nearby. I didn't find this too difficult. There is on street parking near hotel, but it is payable during the day.

We came here at the end of our walk around the Coast and it was the perfect place to stay, for the night before heading home. Good early check in . Good size rooms and a well equipped Bathroom with good hot shower. Staff friendly and efficient. Well placed to explore Minehead and lots of places to eat, but we ate at Weatherspoons which was good value and quality

Nothing really it was as we expected, standard mid to low budget accomodation , well presented and equipped , quiet and got a good night's sleep

Wetherspoons hotel. Was as expected. Room very compact despite being a "double" rather than a single (price paid was for a double room as opposed to a single room) would not have been at all appropriate for two people for anything more than one night. Food is wetherspoons..so adequate (but not included in the price) staff were lovely. Helpful and friendly. Building itself is a beautiful old building. Staircase is magnificent

Room size was small for what I expected. No lift..(but I did know this at the time of booking) no ground floor rooms. There is a stair lift but would not be wholly adequate if you exceeded the weight limit. (Staff so helpful with bringing cases up the stairs if you do struggle)

Room was small but comfortable, the shower is small in a small room with toilet and wash basin. It all works, nice and clean lovely towels. coffee biscuits and a bottled of water in the room, all of this for less than £500 a night, bargain! And you can have a glass of Sauv blanc and a pint of Doom Bar for £8.50. Breakfast for two with coffee £10.00. Good service and great value. Staff very friendly and helpful. Recommended

I can nit pick but for the price I could not complain.

just good value for money ,good central location , straight forwards room & facility's ,excellent value breakfast & evening meal ,delivered promptly ,plenty of staff whizzing around & no one hassles you , made to feel welcome ,with all you need under one roof , at a very realistic price . if you want to pay more & maybe expect a higher level of surroundings ,then go elsewhere ,these guys deliver what they say , at a cost you can smile about . we where not disappointed in any part of our stay , as our expectations were met completely . would stay here again without doubt .

our expectations were met ,so nothing to moan about

Lovely helpful staff, excellent location, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean, good value for money, room and also the food, there is something for everyone

First night, television and a lamp were not working Second day there was no hot water The bathrooms are definitely in need of a update, poor lighting and really noisy fan, no hot towel rail, which meant towels had to be changed daily as they were wet. Not environmentally friendly

The price was great, so was the location and facilities. It was very comfortable and the staff are more than happy to help at any time of the day. Was great having extended checking hours as we travelled over 300 miles and didn't know exactly what time we'd be arriving. The bed was extremely comfy. I also enjoy the 11am check out as you didn't feel rushed to get out and you could have a decent lie in. I liked the variety of complementary brew and water facilities.

I came as a party of 3 and we was all separated and on different floors, the noise of the generator was loud so had to close the window which led to the room being very warm luckily there was a fan in the room. Also difficultly parking as there is no car park but if you arrive after 6pm you could use the street parking till 9am

Very quiet considering very busy pub and weekend. Comfy bed

Having waited at reception for nearly five minutes, ringing the bell and two members of staff walking by without an acknowledgement that someone would be with us, we were greeted by a " surly " member of staff wearing a generic name badge. There was no greeting or apology for the wait, he logged into the computer, asked questions to confirm booking without looking at me. Key was handed over with no advice as to which direction to go. I appreciate the pub was busy and no doubt staff were busy, but if unable to book in until after 4pm, perhaps an eye could be kept on the reception
