We loved the location and the owners/staff were lovely and a great breakfast. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We also had a lovely meal in the restaurant one night which can thoroughly recommend.

The room was very hot but it did have an air conditioning unit to help with that. Our first night some of the other guests were very noisy during the night but that wasn't the fault of the owners. Our main issue was the shower, maybe a pressure problem but it didn't flow out very well.

The bed was comfy, the bathroom had both a shower and bath. Clean rooms and good value for money. Had both veg and non vegetarian option for breakfast. Staff always smiling and helpful. Room service was great. Felt looked after. Very happy with our stay

Restaurant was very busy. Wish we had booked ahead.

We had a pleasant stay with clean rooms and en suite bathrooms. Each of the rooms had 1 double bed and 1 single bed with ample space for 3 people. The staff was really nice and helpful. It was at a nice location with multiple parking areas and restaurants nearby. It was close to the city centre as well. Compared to the other accommodations in the lake district, it is quite affordable and at a reasonable distance from Keswick and Windermere.

Massively positive place. The owners are ridiculously helpful at all times. There is a restaurant downstairs which is lovely - they do massive pizzas - see my photo. Rooms are functional and very good value for money. Very comfy beds, electric shower and tea and coffee provided in the room. Parking is available 4 min walk away, quite literally not really even that. It is £5 for 10 hours so pretty much £5 a day you can stop outside and upload the car with ease. Parking is in bluebell car park. Breakfast is available - great quality. We had offers of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and then cooked breakfast as well amazing value. It is served 0800-0900. Coffee was also greattttt quality - and I like my coffee!

I am digging for an improvement here by the way! I would have liked a desk and chair in the room, but as it was I worked downstairs in the waiting area on a table which was no problem at all. Maybe (if being stereotypical) a female might also like one for doing makeup - but was not a major issue.

Great location. Very welcoming hosts. Room basic but very clean and comfortable and perfect after a day on the fells with our dogs. Lovely evening meal in a proper Italian restaurant and tasty breakfast in the morning. What's not to like?

Nothing. It was perfect for our needs and I've just booked a return trip.

I loved the breakfast sooooooo much!. Rosie . The Italian meal was very nice at night, convenient so we didn't have to search for a dinner. Friendly staff in the restaurant.

It's just the water tap wasn't working well in our bathroom (you probably need some one to fix it).

The hotel is very close to the railway station about 8 minutes and the bus station 3 minutes. Great location for town. A lovely breakfast with a choice of cereal & fruit and a lovely Full English breakfast freshly cooked. Great value for money for a 1 nights stay and friendly staff. The room had a bath and shower which is great and comfy bed too. There is an Italian restaurant but did not get the opportunity to eat there

Nothing really

Room was very big and the bed was super comfy! Location seemed good, we walked to the town centre and it was very close. Breakfast was very good. People were lovely. Overall better than I expected.

Hot water is very, very hot! Tv is very small. And the towels are a bit small but that’s finding minor faults!

Place was centrally located and the reatirant downstairs was amazing. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Our room was really warm even though the window had been opened and the shower didn't have the greatest of power but other than that everything was great.

So obliging. Last minute booking after being stuck in traffic due to m6 closure. We could not get there before kitchen closed but they took order over phone, prepared meal and kept it for our arrival. What service.... exceptional.

Nothing to dislike.
