The Hotel its self was really nice, the decor, particularly in the entry to the hotel, the reception area and the bar. There was no air con in the room, but there was a fan already in the room, which I did need to use and there was an iron and an iron board both of witch I used as well. All the staff here at the reception and on the breakfast service on my stay were excellent even the housekeeping staff here greet you when passing.

Breakfast at the hotel was good. There was a good selection. However, the hot food wasn't got at all. This was disappointing. In my room, there were no plug sockets on the ether side of the bed or anywhere. Even close to the bed, there were 2 plug sockets and the opersit end of the room. The double bed was actually 2 single beds hooked together, so there was that horrible dippy line down the middle of the beds. The food menu in the bar area was maybe a little limited, especially for Sunday lunch. I did have the sausage and mash, which was £15 don't get me wrong, it was nice, but it was also very expensive for what it was.

Central location with parking spot on the back of the hotel. Finding a central location with a parking spot included is indeed a significant advantage. It removes the stress of searching for parking, saving valuable time and effort. Ultimately, such an offering can significantly enhance the overall holliday experience.

The We understand that the current locking system is outdated, and its card keys are easily affected. This can lead to potential inconveniences for everyone involved with accessing their rooms or spaces. Upgrading the system would contribute to improved security and convenience for all users. Therefore, we hope that a modern, reliable solution can be considered to address these concerns. Ultimately, it would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Great location in the centre of Peterborough. Excellent room which was very clean. Nicely decorated, interesting hotel and bar area with lots of places to sit. Free parking was appreciated.

Buffet breakfast had a good enough range of food but it was all a bit fussy as the cooked food was served by a member of staff. She had to go out the back to get scrambled egg which I wouldn’t have ordered if I had seen it! Inefficient to have to wait for this service. Staff at the private bar on Saturday evening were chatting while several of us were waiting to be served. Not great to be ignored in this way. Staff at the reception were not particularly customer friendly.

The room was very comfortable & spacious with plenty of drawers & wardrobe space, chairs, a useful small table, dressing table & bedside lockers. The bathroom was excellent with bath & shower, very clean & modern. Tea & coffee supplies were ample but I did note any extras required would be charged & that would have been the case had I not been a sole traveller.

The postcode given was incorrect & I had to telephone the hotel for directions. The room was very hot, admittedly the weather was very hot & humid, & there was an electric fan in the room but the bathroom towel rail was on most of the time I was in the room. Breakfast was scheduled from 7am to 11.30am Monday to Sunday but when I turned up at 10am the staff were already starting to make preparations for lunch. I was the last person there & was asked if I required any more hot food as they were about to remove it. I did finish my breakfast but felt under pressure to leave, not particularly from the staff, but took my coffee away from the breakfast area.

Liked the old fashioned decor. Lovely bar area. Great location for shops and restaurants. Great private parking. Friendly bar staff.

Male receptionist needs to work on his people skills. No smile. No conversation. Just blunt answers and it felt like he didn’t want to be there. Not a good representative for the hotel. Too crowded breakfast area. Only one small plate of croissants and lacking in cold selection. Awful toast - bendy and chewy like it has been sitting around and had only seen the toaster for a few seconds. Need more breakfast staff as waited for toast and tea for a long time.

The hotel is centrally located, close to Queensgate Shopping Centre and not far away from Peterborough Railway Station. .

The hotel does not have a lift, which is important to note if you have mobility concerns; however, the staff are very cooperative and accommodating, as they helped me move to a ground floor room without any hassle.

The location couldn't have been better. The room was large, modern, all the required facilities and free car parking right in the centre of town. (Make sure you know how to get into the car park, the entrance is around the corner of the building.) Breakfast was fresh with good choices. Pleasant staff in reception, bar, dining room - all good. The bar had a good atmosphere, we met our friends there and were happy to stay.

A bit difficult finding the entrance to the car park but phoned reception and she led us there. No view from the bedroom window but we didn't stay in the room to look out, lol, and there is no view in the centre of town, only buildings. Looking for things to write here, all trivial.

I chose the hotel due to the location and was not disappointed, it was central for everything. The room was clean, well equipped, and spacious. The staff were all friendly and were able to answer all questions. A particular mention to the chef who made us a sandwich after we got back late from the theatre and food had stopped being served. Another shout out for reception. Having returned home I realised I had left a shopping bag in the room, this was not a problem and was posted out to me the next day. Breakfast was plentiful with a great selection.

The pillows were a bit soft and everytime my husband moved in bed I could feel it - would recommend firmer matresses and maybe one firm and one softer pillow per person.

The hotel was gorgeous inside, lots of lovely areas to sit and relax. The hotel room itself was a little dated, but spotlessly clean. Parking was very good and free for residents. The staff were very helpful and polite. We will definitely be returning.

The bedrooms could do with an update, and the matress was very hard. Not very comfortable at all. I like a medium to firm, but this was too hard for us. No air con was quite a challenge too. We did have a fan, but it was a very hot day. So air con was definitely needed.

We was on the 3rd floor and our key cards went wrong numerous times and so it was quite a trek up and down a lot of stairs to get back to reception to then go back up the stairs to get in our room . Happened about 6 or 7 times and we only stayed Saturday to Sunday …
