Lovely room, modern and immaculate. Location is ideal on the main street of Pitlochry, but slightly removed from the busy centre. So much to see and do all within a local distance. Breakfast was excellent, and I have to commend the staff who work hard to provide an excellent service.

Not much to be honest. We had a fantastic stay.

We were upgraded to a family room on arrival and the room was absolutely Superb. the bed was so comfy, the fittings were First Class, the walk in shower was Excellent with big fluffy towels, and everything was Spotless Clean. The heating was on for us arriving and everything was so cosy. We never heard a thing all night even though we were on the ground floor. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was superb. I asked for Gluten Free options and the waitress explained everything and returned with my plate in no time. First Class Service

There was nothing not to like.

Property was clean. Room was spacious with comfortable beds, good storage and bathroom was clean. Room had a good TV with access to apps like prime and Netflix. WiFi was easy to access and seemed to work well. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of hot and cold options. It got very busy sometimes meaning for one morning we were placed in the small lounge with people queued around us whilst we ate. This was not the fault of the hotel or staff. Everyone just arrived for breakfast at the same time. You can get drinks in a small lounge which seemed reasonably priced but we tended to use local pubs with one being only 2 minutes on foot.

For me it’s was pricey at over £200 per night for bed and breakfast. But the area as a whole tends to be.

On the edge of pitlochry, plenty of off road parking and charging points. The hotel from the outside looks nothing special. Inside the rooms were fantastic, well maintained, clean (spotless) and comfortable. Check in was simple and quick as was checkout. ( everthing was simple but effective). Breakfast was superb , buffet, choice of juice, cereal and cooked buffet selection, two coffee machines ( no waiting). Staff were friendly and helpful. Someone has thought about this place when setting it up, it's efficient, comfortable and good value. We will be back.

For me, nothing.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely and warm due to central heating, bed was VERY comfortable and bathroom was spacious with a great shower. Room was very quiet with no road or other guest noise. Filtered water station in the hallway was great too. Buffet breakfast in the morning had a lot of hot and cold options and was great quality. Plenty of car parking on the property. Hotel recommendation of The Bridge restaurant for dinner was great and the food and drinks there were fantastic, a lovely walk through town from the accommodation. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommended to our family and friends.

Nothing, everything was great.

The Staff were friendly and helpful, providing local information and recommending places to visit and to eat. The breakfast was excellent with a 'Full Breakfast' buffet option which was too tempting to pass most mornings. There was plenty of other options should you decide on a different choice......I managed that twice in 5 mornings, the rest was the buffet! My room was excellent with a fantastic view from the window looking out towards the hills, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern with everything that was required. Will be staying again and look forward to returning.

The only negative which is through no fault of the owners is the lack of evening meals, there appears to be a shortage of staff to facilitate this at many of the hotels. They do recommend a restaurant which you can call free of charge from the room to book a table. I used this as an opportunity to walk about Pitlochry and get out of the room before returning to study more.

The staff were fantastic, so friendly, polite and courteous from the moment we arrived. We were upgraded to a larger room which was spotless clean and finished to a very high standard. I was expecting B&B but the Westlands was definitely hotel quality so it exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was really busy but the gentleman still found time to move us to a better table near the window which was really appreciated and they didn't need to do, given everything else they were juggling. I was really impressed and the food was gorgeous. The grounds are really well kept and look beautiful at night with the twinkly lights. We were able to leave the car for a few hrs after checkout which was an added bonus.

My pillow was a little lumpy but understand pillows are a very personal preference and normally I take my own.

Room was clean and nicely furnished. The hotel from the outside is beautiful all lit up at night. Excellent sized tv in our room.

The water pressure in the shower was very poor, shame as it was a beautiful bathroom. Also the glass bottle of water that was provided with the room exploded when my partner unscrewed the lid and the bottom of the bottle fell out and landed on my partners foot and he ended up with a cut on his foot! Reported this to reception, however they receptionist was unperturbed at the incident and the fact my partner had actually sustained an injury as a result! There was also no offer to replace the bottle of water for the room so we had to buy our own.

On check in we were upgraded to a family suite that had recently undergone some refurbishing. The room was nice and modern and also spotless. Nice touch with a bottle of water which could be refilled with the water dispenser in the hallway. Front of house was helpful and knowledgable on the local area and what walks, restaurants and pubs that were good in the area. A buffet breakfast in the morning was perfect. Good selection of hot food and continental style available. The fact on checkout you can still use the car park for 3 hours after is a great touch. Very enjoyable experience and will definitely use this hotel again when we return to Pitlochry.

We stayed in a family suite, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The room was great and was well heated which was very welcome in late December. Breakfast was really good with lots to choose from.

The room had a smell of feet when we first arrived. We opened the windows and actually bought a can of air freshener from the local shops. The smell dissipated after a few hours.
