Perfect location for Plymouth Hoe and the British National Firework Championships. Our room was spacious enough to include two tub chairs and a table plus a desk / dressing table and chair. The en-suite shower room was modern, well equipped and best of all well lit. There was a generous amount of tea, coffee and milk which was very welcome. Breakfast was first class, full English cooked to order plus continental buffet. Overall a very welcoming, relaxed and comfortable place to stay.

Nothing, our stay was great and our hosts even sorted out car parking vouchers for us at a very reasonable cost. There is on street parking outside the property but the whole area was exceptionally busy because of the firework championships.

The location was excellent, I booked the hotel in order to get a coach from the coach station very very early I'm the morning (just a short 12 min walk). The area was very quiet in the evening and there was no noise from other guests although the place was fully booked. Even though I was leaving before the breakfast started, the owner kindly said he would have milk, cereal and fruit for me to help myself to in the breakfast room. If I had stayed by the breakfast time, I was surprised to see they also served a vegetarian option of the full English breakfast which sounded very nice! The beds were very comfortable, and I stayed in a twin room, the pillows were all slightly different so I could decide with my mum who would take which pillows which worked out perfectly for us both. Although there was no air conditioning, we slept with the window open which kept us cool enough at night time in this hot weather we are having at the moment! I was also thankful there was an extra toilet in the hallway, so I didn't have to disturb my mother again after my breakfast, before leaving.

The gentleman that greeted us on both Saturday and Sunday was so friendly, he has excellent customer service skills. I'm surprised the room was available last minute as it was more than perfect for our stop for the marathon. It's great that breakfast is included in the price. There was a great range of jams, coffee, juice, etc in the morning. The windows open nice and wide to keep the room cool. They were kind enough to keep our bags for us whilst I did the half marathon.

The bed was a bit small (it was a double to be fair) and the mattress could have been more comfy. We had to reconfigure the room to put the fan in an optimal place as there wasn't plug sockets on the wall at the end of the bed. The shower is a simple wet room, whilst the shower itself was great, the room did get very wet and we had to strategically place towels to avoid wet feet when going in there at night. The biggest downside of the room is that by default the light turns on when you enter the bathroom. I woke up my partner several times when going in and out.

The accommodation is not for from the city centre or the hoe, plenty of eating places in the area, but far enough away to be quiet at night. Breakfast was very good, and there were plenty of options . Very nice place to stay,I would definitely stay again.

The noisy seagulls in the area when it's mating season ,but this is not the fault of the guest house. it's nature .

This was a clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. The rooms are modern in decor and provide a comfortable place to stay with all the amenities that we required. Breakfast was tasty and well cooked with enough choice, including cereal, yoghurt, fruit as well as full English. The owners were very friendly and cheerful. We liked the location of the guest house. In one direction we could get to The Hoe and in the other, the Town Centre, all within 5 minutes or less. We also walked down to the Barbican, and to the ferry to get to Mount Edgcumbe. We definitely recommend.

Parking isn't always available outside the house, but this really wasn't a problem as there was always somewhere nearby. An all day voucher, purchased from the owner made it a lot cheaper when not using our car much

Warm, kind and friendly staff, the place is decorated with a great attention to detail and that minutely and with a lot of grace and gusto. The position is very good, close to everything. Breakfast was full English or vegeterian, and in addition to that there was a buffet with cereals, oats, yogurt, fruit and more.

My room was tiny but it had anything I could need, including a hairdryer. The shower was super modern and really beautiful. And everything was very clean. If I really have to find some fault, well the washbasin was really tiny, but that was understandable because there was no space to place a bigger one. Also personally I would have preferred a harder mattress. But these are really minor things. The people who own/work there are really doing a good job.

I have been surprised by service,bravo .Alexandra who served the perfect breakfast, thank you.Location excellent ,very convenient,steps away you are at the city centre or at Hoe .Highly recommend to everyone.For people looking big rooms probably not the best option but by my personal experience I am happy Thank you.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and clean tasting and quality products. The variety was great too, including alternative milks. The entire place was really really clean and tidy. The location for us was good, we walked to the Barbican in under 10 minutes - right into Plymouth Gin! For what we paid it exceeded our expectations. The staff went over and above to help us, getting soaked in the rain to help us to park and bring our luggage in. Alex can't thank you enough.

Friendly and attentive staff, modern and well decorated with great Plymouth themed colours and artwork. Very clean and great breakfast options. Close to the seafront, uni accommodation and the city shops, restaurants and bars.

Parking is not great in Plymouth but on a positive note the owners have discounted local parking tickets on arrival if required.

Very convenient location near the Hoe. Breakfast good, plenty of choice. Comfortable little room, shower worked well (they don't always!). Staff friendly and helpful.

Room rather cool initially but radiator did come on later. No car park. We did pay for on-street parking nearby but then Cassandra gave us a resident's parking permit. It should state on the website that permits are available. Can't rate it 'romantic' as this would need a sea view to gaze at together.
